The place can easily fit in to NYC and the food is terrific. We went on a Sunday afternoon and had the pork, chicken, filet mignon and salmon sticks--all of which were surprisingly tender. The sticks were very mildly seasoned and although I prefer bolder flavors, the pricing and freshness they offer just can't be beat. We also had two versions of their freshly squeezed juice. Where do I even begin my frustration.... I placed my order with them online at 11:10 AM - estimated delivery was 12:10 PM . its rainy so i figured its ok. So 12:20 PM rolls around I called and the girl who picked up placed me on hold right away. 5 mins later im still on hold. its already closer to 12:30 PM she tells me the driver left a long time ago and should be here any minute. Before i could say anything else SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE. 12:45 Rolls around order still isnt here. I called back again and Same girl who picked up and said " i dont know what to tell you he left a while ago" before she could hang I said well cant you call and find out exactly where he is or ill call. She puts me on another hold. Came back and tells me he's entering your building. AND THEN PROCEEDS TO HANG UP ON ME A SECOND TIME I walked to the entrance and the delivery person was 100 % apologetic but at this point i was livid. I demanded names especially of the girl who i advised him kept hanging up the phone . He gave me the managers name and told me to call to speak to NICK. i will be calling as soon as i copy and paste this review to every website that wants a review of this place. Incredibly fresh and tasty food. I usually go for cheeseburger with fries. The burger was fantastic and cooked perfectly. The fries are phenomenal. They also make an outstanding quinoa salad, with fresh cherry tomatoes, cranberries and chick peas. Really fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and the prices are in line with the quality of the food. The dining area has a nice industrial vibe and a few TVs showing sports usually. I work in the a near by school and luckily this gem is about a 5 minute drive. I'm obsessed. My order is pretty specific and they never fail make sure I leave there very satisfied. I order from here about 2-3 times a week and one time I wasn't very satisfied with the salad I bought it wasn't "grillmark" quality that I know they are capable of, and every single time I walk in that place they double check my food and make sure that it is quality. Arugula salad is my favorite, guacamole is on point, skewers are also fresh and Delish. I have changed my review from 5 stars to 3 stars unfortunately because i had an experience where I was served spoiled food. I always delivered to where I reside which isn't too far in Mineola. They seem to be super busy however phone orders are taken with less priority and thy never refund me when they promise to do so. It has been months since I last ordered and nor do I intend to do so anymore. I am certainly not discouraging anyone, be sure to go in person and order, otherwise the food is ok. I can't stop raving about this place. The food is consistently delicious and the workers are so friendly. I placed a delivery order today and it arrived on time. I ordered the Arugula salad with a Filet Mignon stick medium rare with Baklava. First off, the meat was cooked perfectly. For an extra $8 for the filet you get a GENEROUS portion. The salad itself was well dressed and delicious. The Baklava was to die for. I was surprised because I did not expect it to be as good as I thought it was. This place is a little pricey, but it's healthier than most places. The fries are thin and crunchy in a good way. The black bean burger (vegetarian friendly) is also pretty good, but there are several good vegetarian options. Last time I got a wrap with avocado and zucchini, along with other vegetables. It had the healthy taste, but it was still good. I also hear that the acaí bowls are good, but not filling. Tip: if you want something (meat, vegetable, anything) switched out for another one, just ask the staff. They're very accommodating. read more

Grillmark is awesome. I live down the block from this place, and go here for a quick bite all the time. The food is always fresh and made to my liking. Everyone who works here is kind and always working as diligently as possibly to ensure customer satisfaction. Also, the amount of sweet potato fries they give in one order is massive, and I'm always able to save them for later as well. Excellent food I've ordered from here more times than I can count. The only thing is they're usually very busy as far as delivery goes. So your food might be warm when you receive it. I've gotten cold food one time! Spoke to a manager and she immediately apologized and offered me a free meal next time I order. We are big Mediterranean and Israeli food eaters. This place stinks. A platter comes with about six cubes of meat. My chicken tasted like fish. Ew. The guys that I work with order from here often so I figured I would try it out, and that was a big mistake. For starters I called my order in and I ordered 2 Chicken Gyro Platters with sweet potato fries one with a regular side salad and I agreed to pay extra for a Greek salad with the other, we also ordered the Shrimp platter with fries and a Greek salad on the side as well and again I agreed to pay extra for that. The food arrived about 40 minutes after I ordered and by then I had to step out and run a few errands when my coworker opened the bag there were no Greek Salads, in which I was told twice that I would have to pay extra for them so that was a bit frustrating, she had to call and have the driver bring one of the salads not knowing that I ordered one for myself as well. When I got back to the office and sat down to eat the food I opened the box it came and I started to regret ordering from there already. It was a paper box that was half way filled with sweet potato fries the other half of the box had the greasiest, fattiest(idk if that's even a word) pieces of "grilled chicken" (and if you ask me the chicken didn't even smell right), half a pita bread cut into 4 pieces and tzatziki sauce. I picked at the chicken but ultimately decided that I wasn't going to eat it and it wasn't even worth sending back because my boss hated the shrimp and my coworker hated her meal as well. I hate throwing food away so I figured I would give the chicken to my dog, he wouldn't even eat it. Long story short, I doubt I'd ever order here again and if you want real gyros go to an authentic Greek Place because idk what these people are trying to pass off. read more

This is a great concept, fast gourmet dining. The quality and taste of the Gyro is exceptionally good. I've been here two times and had a pork Gyro and a Chicken Gyro and both were great tasting. I am going back to try the Salads and the Sticks which is another way of saying skewers, sides and much more. I'll bet you can get a great hamburger here too. Lately I've become a fan of their quinoa, so delicious as a healthy side dish or as a meal by itself. The owner, Nick is ever present and everyone is very polite and eager to satisfy the customers. This place must be tried for sure. Recently, May 2015, I tried a Cold Pressed Juice and I was pleasantly surprised. I mean I loved it. The Green Machine was made from Kale, spinach, green apples, cilantro, lemon and ginger was delicious and packed with vitamins and nutrients. Overpriced. 8 and change for a cheeseburger with no fries just the burger, ordered it medium. I was with my coworker and we both ordered the same thing. We had to wait about 10-15 min for the burgers, which is a good chunk to be waiting on your lunch hour for a simple burger. We brought the burgers back to the office only to see that they were about as overcooked as a fast food joint. And it was tiny, the ciabatta bun being much bigger then that actual burger. Ate here last night with my wife. She got the Filet Mignon stick with Mediterranean Rice. I got the Asian Tuna salad. For drinks she got the Greek Frappe and I got the Healthy Start cold pressed juice. Everything was fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly as was the tuna. The salad came loaded with avocado and an amazing ginger dressing. Everything was really fresh and high quality. According to the take out menu we grabbed on our way home, they do free delivery as well. You can't beat it. It's really nice in the restaurant the staff was friendly, helpful, and one of the owners came over to ask how everything was. We will definitely go back...or maybe we'll just have them deliver. I got delivery from GrillMark recently and I must say I'm very unimpressed. Was the food gross? No. But was it delicious? No. It was very mediocre. I got a chicken gyro, and what I got was grilled chicken in a dish. Why call it a gyro if it's anything but? My fiancé got the chicken platter and all it was, was 4-5 pieces of chicken on a stick. The sweet potato fries were so soggy. I think the only good thing was the peanut chili sauce I got. Even the hummus was so average. I don't think I'll be going back. read more
