Came to Dominick's Deli and got my go to chicken fingers, which are honestly my favorite here. Definitely recommend!!The place is always packed and it gets even busier during the holidays, but it makes sense with how much they offer. Everything moves quickly even when there's a crowd though there's a really good selection of food to choose from really great sandwiches by the way ! the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming.

Over the last year I've been to a few different parties/events where Dom's chicken fingers were sold and at each one they were the star of the show. They're ADDICTING. I don't know how I lived on Long Island this long without ever trying. This past week I went to a grad party that featured their new food truck and everything served was amazing. The food was pre-portioned and plated but piping hot. I tried their chicken caesar wrap along with an order of chicken and fries. The chicken fingers have a slight hint of sweetness, even without their BOMB honey mustard. Their wrap had a such good ratios and was wrapped to perfection (I can't stand when they fall apart after 2 bites!). Everything was phenomenal! Consider me an official Dom's fan.

This place is 10/10 deli. So authentic just when you step inside. They have the best chicken fingers and if you wait in line long enough they start handing some samples out. The people here are so kind and friendly. The food out of this world. They have the best sandwiches and they're huge. They are super generous with the serving sizes!

They're known for their chicken tenders, so of course that's what we ordered and they totally live up to the hype. We couldn't stop snacking on them. They're so addictive, and honestly feel like eating fries... except they're chicken, so it's basically guilt-free protein. The honey mustard deserves its own shoutout it's not too thick, tangy, and sweet. It sticks perfectly to the chicken without feeling too heavy, and the flavor balance makes it one of the best honey mustards I've had. We also got the Bella Calabria sandwich, which was fully loaded and packed with flavor. Generous portions, and all the ingredients are fresh (definitely something you need two hands for) Lines can get really long on weekends, so I'd recommend ordering about an hour ahead online to save time. Excited for the plainview location!

We stopped in for lunch and got the numbers 8, 18 and a pound of chicken fingers. The sandwiches were good but didn't knock our socks off. As for the chicken fingers, they were also OK, along with being oily, nothing special and I've had better. Also, the honey mustard was very thin rather than thick.

While there's 26 specialty sandwich options, make sure to look at the signs on the deli case for some secret specialties! This spot is known for their chicken fingers which have a slight hint of sweetness, even without the delicious honey mustard. The sandwiches are generously filled with your meta of choice - I got the #26 Bella Calabria, which had prosciutto, hot sopressata, capicola, mortadella. The broccoli rabe cut nicely against all those fatty salty meats.

Ok I live about half hour east of this deli I ordered on line and asked for the chicken fingers to be super hot when I get there being I have a long ride home... let me tell you these are worth the half hour drive!! The best in New York the texture the taste omg I had a few driving and I actually thought I was gonna choke I said to myself if I die eating these and driving well I'll Die a legend. My kids love these ! My bil and SIL been ordering these for years when they have parties ! My mouth waters when I think of them

Doug and Anthony were very good, the hot food entrées. They only have during the summertime but that's fine. There's so many sandwiches that you can pick from, they let me say that everything here was stacked so much so that most people will not finish even one of their sandwiches, I suggest they do offer wraps, rather than rolls and hero,, I highly recommend the Terminator grilled cheese sandwich, it's more than just grilled cheese. They stack it with ham, and it's a meal within itself, obviously I had the godfather and I got it on an Italian hero and yes I was full after just Eating half the sandwich, my favorite overall was surprisingly the Sharon stone, it's barbecue chicken. The first time I went (on a Friday evening), I ordered a Greek salad and had a good experience. The worker was polite, asked if I was okay with all the ingredients, and made sure I got what I wanted -- no chicken, dressing on the side, etc. He even chopped the salad for me without me asking, which I appreciated. The salad was pretty good, just heavy on the olives, but overall I left satisfied enough to come back a second time. The salad was listed as $13.99, but I was charged $15.82 -- which felt overpriced for what it was, but I let it slide since the portion was large. Then I went back on Sunday, and it was a completely different story. Two different workers were there, neither greeted me or said hello. I told them I wanted a Greek salad with no olives and no chicken. One of them immediately went to add chicken, and when I reminded him "no chicken, no olives," he said the olives were already in there. The other worker said, "It comes with olives," and they didn't bother to make it right. When I got my salad, it was barely 20% lettuce and mostly huge chunks of tomato and onion -- not chopped, not tossed, and not at all like the first one I had. It was honestly frustrating and disappointing, especially after paying over $15 again. I decided to call and let the owner know -- not to get a refund, just to share my experience. Instead of listening, he cut me off mid-sentence and talked over me, saying, "Lady, I rang you up -- that's how we make our salads." He went on about how he's been there 40 years and no one has ever complained, and basically dismissed everything I was saying. When I finally got a chance to speak, I explained that I only called because I had two completely different experiences within two days. He eventually said he'd "make sure his workers ask customers if they want it chopped," but in a very sarcastic, passive way. The way I was spoken to on the phone was rude and unprofessional. I've lived in this area for over 25 years, and this was my first time trying Tulip Deli -- and unfortunately, it'll also be my last. Maybe others have had better experiences, but for me, between the inconsistent food quality, overpriced salad, and dismissive customer service, I can't recommend this place.
