Ordered today from Cherry Valley Deli. We all enjoyed the very generous portions we received. All tasted great and fresh. Well packed and quick delivery. Loved it.

Idk what happened, but I was in there on Saturday @ 8pm, picked up my sandwiches, 4 of them, and 2 were chicken cutlet related, DISGUSTING! IDK WTF happened to Cherry Valley but change the staff or go back to the original owners or SOMETHING, the bacon on the sandwiches is NONEXISTENT!

Nice little deli for you to get food 24 hours a day. The staff was really nice & the inside reminded me of my childhood. They have all of the old classics like oatmeal creme pies, honey buns, Barnum animal crackers, granny cookies, crunch bar ice creme, etc. It's pretty much your local corner store but with some nice breakfast and lunch options to go along with it. My favorite was the bullet hero, very well prepared & the sandwiches are pretty big so you only need one. I came here twice to try out different things & I must say the heros are probably the best thing you can order. The Verizon fios was tasty but not as good as the bullet. The couch fries were just ok, nothing special & the steak egg & cheese wrap wasn't really good. Usually I love French toast but here the pancakes are a lot better so just go with them. I'll mainly be coming here for the snacks & maybe the occasional hero every now and then.

Ordered a z-zoo hero, a bullet hero & some fries for pick up through ubereats. It was my first time at this location because I had only been to the whitestone location before. Both sandwiches were unfortunately kind of dry & salty, and for anyone ordering through a third party app, I dont think they read the notes because I had asked for extra sauce on the side and didnt receive any. Not sure how the fries were because my friend had ordered it but he seemed happy with them. Overall sandwiches were ok, but a little disappointing. Would rather go to the whitestone location or go to Christinas instead.

Pastrami Hero w/tomatoes and mayo...(hint) where's the tomatoes... $14.50, enough said! Move at your own convenience and or uber eats...

Our waitress was responsive to whatever we needed. The prices are a little high for the portion size, but the food is great quality. My vinho verde was a nice size pour. My husband loved the Iberian ham here. We both had the garlic shrimp which were very well flavored but unfortunately didn't have even one garlic clove, which was disappointing and there were only 6 shrimp. The olive oil they were in was great though and we dipped our food into it and they were perfectly cooked. The paella is supposed to be for 2-4 people which I can see if you have more tapas but we finished it off. It came with a healthy amount of shrimp, grilled calamari and chorizo and was perfectly seasoned. We also appreciated how the rice was a bit crispy and not mushy. The table next to ours ordered what appeared to be a very good looking fruit cobbler of some kind but we were too stuffed for dessert. They also have a weekday happy hour before 6pm that looks good with deals on booze. Really enjoyed this spot! Conveniently located in the middle of garden city with ample free parking.

The restaurant is tapas style so a lot of small plates. I thought the presentation of the food was very well done. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended great dishes. We ordered shrimp, steak on the bone, bone marrow, potatoes, polenta, broccolini, shishieto peppers, and paella for dinner to share. We all enjoyed our food. For desserts we got the lemon and blueberry pudding, was delicious. I loved the bread pudding. My grandfather enjoyed his Nutella chocolate.

I had to change plans quickly as I looked at the specials they had going on that day wow! We decided to go with the duck and the monkfish main course entrees instead. Life is about making the right choices and this was the best decision I made that day lol! The duck was cooked to perfection soft on the inside crispy on the outside wow! I really like how juicy and fatty the duck was very succulent and delicious yummy. I especially liked the wine sauce on top among taste sweet with a slight tart to it juts the right balance I was impressed. Definitely one of the best duck dishes I've ever had it's a special so I'm not sure if it will be available when you decide to go call ahead would be my suggestion and your best bet. Laslty the side with butter squash was also a delight to eat and treat! Second course was the monkfish which was great as well. It had a slightly Smokey flavor to my pallet and a slight crunch on the outside maybe it was torched or seared not sure. Whatever the case it was a great touch to the dish very tasty and juicy as well. I love the sauce and the sides were great mashed potatoes with broccoli yummy! I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or dinner take your pick. They will not disappoint you at all that's for sure. I'm not sure how this place is in the evening as I've only gone during the day. I hope the chef gets to read this and know his work is appreciated and noticed! The staff and waiters are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the entrees and food in general. Great service and energy I will come again and repeat whenever possible. I liken the music they play in the background it's not too loud and always sets a great tone for the place. The windows bring in great light and the decor is tasteful and elegant gives a bistro vibe to me personally. You might think differently let us know anyway. The restaurant has a beautiful, bright, modern atmosphere that feels much more upscale than its surroundings. Based on other reviews, the standout dishes seemed to be the grilled Spanish octopus and the SB Smash Burger, so I ordered both. Unfortunately, the execution fell short in several areas. The East Coast oysters arrived with mignonette but without horseradish or oyster forks--small details, but noticeable oversights. The oysters, octopus, and burger were all tasty, but the presentation of octopus and burger was surprisingly sloppy, as though little attention had been paid when the dishes left the kitchen. The bar also was understaffed. A single bartender was serving both the bar and the entire dining room, which led to waits for drinks. My bartender was friendly, attentive, and worked hard, but one person simply wasn't enough. I finished with the Key Lime Custard, which had what appeared to be a layer of shredded cereal on the bottom. I wasn't sure what it was. The dessert itself was enjoyable, though I think a base of toasted sliced almonds with a few fried blueberries on top of it would have added better texture and complemented the flavors more effectively. One nice perk is the validated valet parking, for a reduced fee, which makes arriving and leaving especially convenient given the mall location. The whiskey selection could also be improved by adding a few more interesting, off-the-beaten-path single malts or blends. Overall, the kitchen shows promise! And perhaps I came on an off night. With better attention to presentation, appropriate bar staffing, and a more adventurous choice of spirits, Small Batch could deliver an experience that better matches its reputation.
