So I was craving a mofongo and honestly lately all my go to spots just haven't been the same. So I ventured into Uber eats and this deli came up. The first thing that caught my eye was their extensive menu of traditional Latin dishes. Here you can of course get a mofongo, pupusas, picadera, perhaps a chimi or burrito. The options are endless. We got the Picada Platter with Yucca Fries, Tostones, Grilled Chicken, Pork Chop, Carne Asada, Chicharrón, and Shrimp. My favorite were the Tostones and the Carne Asada. Their fresh juices were also so refreshing with some of the fried foods! My favorite juice was the passion fruit one. I definitely recommend trying this platter with a group of people because it is a lot of food. Don't forget to get some of their bottled hot sauce and their spicy mayo sauce. The man who picks up the phone and takes your order from the counter (I think this is the same person; the voice sounds the same) is super friendly, patient, and very attentive. I don't eat meat and so many places will still add meat to my food. This place always makes sure there's no meat! Their mangú is the best mangú I've ever had! It's so soft and seasoned perfectly! It's salty but not overly salty, plus they cook their eggs a perfect over easy, and the fried cheese is also very well done. Their shrimp tacos are delicious, as well as their pupusas.
