    Baja Crispy Fish Taco.

Wow wow wow fast service. I felt like I was in Mexico. The tacos were so good!!!!! Chairs are regular metal foldable chairs which really make it feel like I'm in the side street of Mexico. Please add comfy chairs. Mezcal tequila hit the spot.

The stand in the back with "Micheladas" written on it is the bar.

Have been back a handful of times. A great place to be when the weather is nice out. Yesterday a few coworkers and I came for Taco Tuesday. Andrew provided the best service! We had such a good time. My fave is the corn app and the Shrimp Taco. Delicious!

So been to this spot in the city and was excited to try it out here on the island. The food was fresh they give a small Portion for a large guacamole that cost 15 dollars. Our serve was okay he was attentive but made some assumptions when placing orders for the table. The ambience was quote at the lunch time we went. They have a sample of their chicken soup which was delicious. I had a birra taco which was good except the side that was laying on the plate was soggy which tells me it was sitting waiting to be brought to me for a whole. We shared the churros. They were okay. I'm always looking for it to be coated with sugar and cinnamon but they were dusted

This tacombi location has plenty of parking in front, and if not, then there's a whole parking lot nearby within walking distance. Plenty of seating inside as well! Very large location compared to queens/manhattan/brooklyn locations. We ordered the Agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus juice) and the Agua de Piña (pineapple juice) for drinks. Both were very good but we liked the Hibiscus one more! For tacos, we had the Baja crispy fish taco, carne asada, al pastor, and crispy chicken tinga. In another location, we were pretty disappointed with the Baja crispy fish tacos and we wanted to give it another chance at this location. While the taco itself wasn't soggy this time (thankfully!), the flavor remains the same - bland. It lacks flavor. Maybe it's just how tacombi makes it but they boast a good Baja crispy fish tacos. If that's what you're looking for, probably look elsewhere. The taco that stood out the most was the crispy chicken tinga taco. By far, best taco of the ones we had at Tacombi! Has a slight kick, very flavorful, and very messy but what taco isn't? Haha! We were disappointed that every other table was given salsas to go with their tacos, but we weren't. At other locations, we were given them but not here. To be honest, service was pretty slow and we noticed the workers just chatting away in a huddle while we waited. Good work relationships are to be cherished, however please also be attentive! Lastly, we ordered the churros with chocolate dipping sauce. While tempting, I'd advise to skip. You can find better churros somewhere else as well! But if you're craving it, it'd probably satisfy that craving.

I just discovered that I've eaten at a Tacombi restaurant before, one in Flatiron and another in Brooklyn. Now I'm adding the Long Island Westbury location to the list. I will say, one thing that has stayed consistent is the wonderful service. I've been to the Westbury location twice already and have always had a pleasant experience. The food is solid and is definitely worth adding to your Taco Tuesday list. So far, I've had the tacos and a Birria Burrito. The Burrito is massive and super filling. The tacos are reasonable and you're good with just three if you're regular hungry. The ambiance gives street taco stand, which is the point, but it's super cozy and chill. My kind of vibe. Nothing bad to say honestly. Will continue going.

Tacombi Taco is great place for taco and drinks. Food: the tacos are well seasoned, tasty, and very generous portions. The drinks specifically the margaritas are so delicious strong and so nice. Service: the service is really good and the waiter consistently checked it. Ambiance: the is traditional taco fast food spot with open seating with a lot of breeze. It's also set for a taco relax vibe. Overall score is 4.75/5.0

I came here and ordered esquites, margaritas and chicken tinga tacos. The food and drinks were great. It was a nice day and we were able to sit outdoors as well so that was nice. The only thing is that within 5 minutes of us being seated we were asked THREE TIMES if we were ready to order. it felt like we were being rushed and I didn't understand that because the restaurant was no where close to full. When we were ready to go the server too foreverrrr to bring us our check. I'd definitely visit Tacombi again but definitely not this location.

Had no idea there's been a Tacombi in Westbury. I came in after some shopping and the decor was so pleasing to the eyes and restaurant itself was open, spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and made it a point to make myself and my guests feel welcome. I enjoyed my vegan Burrita which was full of flavor and freshness. I also ordered a Michelada with my food that was also very tasty. Highly recommend coming here with friends and family on Tuesdays and Fridays they have great deals.

Love me some Tacombi !!! I remember the first one in LES and this location reminds me of that local charm. Great taco's and sides. The corn in the cup is really good. The drinks are well made and unique. They pack a good punch as well. The service is attentive and the interior is campy and I will definitely be coming back again and again.

The flavors are incredible. Everything is seasoned wonderfully and wakes up your mouth without killing your palate. But the selections are very limited and the prices are.... Well the prices.

Food- 4/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 4/5 Food- literally would've gotten a 5/5 if the Seared fish had an indicator that it had some heat! Lol aside from that I am regular for the crispy fish and birria tacos! #TacoTuesday BOGO promo ! Specials like the Costilla taco aren't included! This was my first time trying the " Tacombi y Califa de Leon " costilla taco and let me tell you, PHENOMENAL! I came today just because I heard about the collab! The beef has a delicious yet not overwhelming flavor, normal texture and tender as ever! The service was excellent! My server was the Justin who was very informative and the bartender Milena who was HEAVEN SENT! My experience between the two of them supports my frequent returns and their 5 star worthiness!!! The ambiance was beautiful the weather was 70 something in October, perfect lunch on a gorgeous day so the restaurant was open airy and comfortable! Two thumbs up and will certainly return ! Ps I tried them when they first opened and their watermelon juice is the freshest and most delicious!

This is a 3.5-star review. Some friends swear by this place and told me so much about it. So, while I was out running errands (Total Wine & More and Target), wifey and I decided to check it out. The place has a really chill vibe, and I like the minimal design and colors. The staff all had smiles on their faces and were very nice and accommodating. Food-wise, though, I was expecting more. We ordered the Corn Esquites, Beef Birria, Baja Crispy Fish, Carne Asada, and Al Pastor Quesadilla. The corn was pretty good, and the chicken quesadilla wasn't bad. The chicken had flavor, but the quesadilla could have used more cheese. As for the tacos, here's how I would rank them from best to worst: fish, birria, and then carne asada. I'm not a big fan of fish taco either, so keep that in mind. For the sauces, the spiciest one was the best-tasting, followed by the green one, and then the medium one. Overall, it wasn't bad. Would I give them another shot? Probably. But I can't imagine they would be much better than another place I reviewed with 5 stars.

A really intimate place, with probably like 15 tables max inside, and a little bar that can sit also about the same amount of people, but still looks new and fresh, and also be on the lookout because when you're driving the place sneaks up on you. The friendliest service, Lauren who seated us and served us was truly genuine, and I told her I really appreciate that as most restaurants don't have that sense of personal customer service, actually noticeable and appreciated. The food was also really good, the dip was flavorful, could be a little warmer but still very good, the chips were next level, and this was a huge hit. The calamari was lightly breaded, and also I do appreciate the two sauces to choose from when dipping, either Kung Pao or Marinara. I got the Pastrami Rub Tuna over Scallion Mash, and when I first looked at it I thought the fish piece was a bit small, but after eating it, it was the perfect size, and the mash was delicious, and the Wasabi Sauce to dip the fish really made the dish Pop. Drinks were okay, started with a kick and boozy but finished a bit watery for my first one, the second one I had with Mescal was a 10/10 though. This place needs attention, and the fact that it is still pretty low key and food influencers haven't descended to blow up it's spot is awesome.

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.

This place is beautiful and perfect for pretty much any occasion. The first time I brought my sister here for her bday dinner and every dish was absolutely outstanding. The service although it was busy Friday night was also excellent. Our drinks? The smokin gun and spicy margarita were perhaps some of the best drinks we've had in a long time. The minute we left we decided we had to come back again for some drinks and apps. Fast forward to a Thursday night we saw they had a late night happy hour so we decided to give it a try! This is where it all went downhill and I debated on writing this review because I honesty believe in giving businesses sort of a pass for a rough day or just because and you never know know what someone is going through but I was clearly so bothered that I am still thinking about it and I feel like it's only right that the owner should know. We arrived for the late night happy hour and 4 seats happen to be available at the end of the bar. The female bartender proceeded to place menus right in front of us without saying a word. I smiled, kinda hinting hello and when I tell you I just got a blank stare, at first I was confused but again (it's late, it's thursday, people have struggles, be compassionate and move on) Fast forward we order some food, she places mats and utensil in front of us and again nothing, not a word. It was also as if she was annoyed at us for being there. At one point I was speaking Spanish with one of my girlfriends and I noticed she finally looked at us and smiled. I'm unsure what that was about but I was happy to see her smile for once. Finally I noticed a couple came in and went straight to the bartender and right away I noticed her tone and demeanor changed, she was much happier to see them. So I guess she had a decent day after all. The couple and the bartender kinda pointed towards us as if we had taken their seats. This is all happening right in front of my eyes. Now listen, I'm an expert on picking up cues and noticing things around me. It's pretty much what I do for a living. The couple then sat against the wall behind and we could just feel that we just weren't wanted there that night. The vibe and energy felt really off and when I tell you this was perhaps one of the worse customer services experiences I've ever had in this type of establishment, I am not lying. It felt very dismissive and unwelcoming without even saying anything. I'm really disappointed because Ive been bragging to all my friends about this place and really looked forward to the same experience I had previously but this wasn't the case. I'm not sure of if I will be back, but I do hope the managers and owners here give their staff better training on how to treat customers. A simple hello, a smile, and being kind goes a long way not only in the business word but in life.
