This place infuriates me. On one hand - they have good salad, bowl and wrap options. And they taste great. On the other hand, they are always out of something and the employees are dismissive. My latest run-in with them: I ordered on a Friday night for pickup. I arrived at the pickup time and my order hadn't been started. The employee found it at the printer and began making it on the spot, only to then realize they were out of goat cheese, which for me is a main ingredient in the salad. I told them nevermind, which clearly annoyed him because he started putting the other ingredients in the bowl. I asked for a refund and was told it couldn't be processed in-store. He directed me to go through the app. After speaking to the manage and not getting anywhere, I left without a refund. I proceeded to go back and forth with Guest Relations for 10 days before my refund was issued. It was an extremely frustrating experience. read more

My first time at this chain was a pleasant experience. The portions are on the large side, and the food is fresh. The Hot Honey Harvest bowl was tasty with delicious and juicy chicken. I really liked how the sweet potato added a little sweet bite to the savory flavors. The mushrooms were perfectly cooked. Service was okay. The bathrooms were both closed which was very strange. The place is bright and open. Good food to be found here when looking for a healthy alternative to fast casual dining. read more

Stopped by here on November 8th in the afternoon for some salad after shopping by the nearby mall. The line was a bit slow since it was just one girl working. I saw the girl make a few mistakes with the customers ahead of me in which the customer said "long day huh". Which she laughed off. I get it, we all been there. By the time it was my turn the girl seemed out of it. She did her best but you can tell she was annoyed she had to deal with the line by herself. Nonetheless, my salad came out great. Customer service was not the best, will be checking out other locations. read more

This place has the best chicken cesar salad ever! I come here every 2 weeks and they always stay consistent with their portions and taste. I switch out the regular chicken they use to the marinated chicken (forgot what it's called but it's red) and it's fantastic. The staff is friendly and the space is vast. I came into this location and ordered my-to, a crispy chicken poblano salad. It was delicious! I love the large portions, reasonable price and the bread... so darn good. Based on today's experience, I do prefer other locations as the service here left a bit much to be desired. The vibe just felt off and very low energy. The person who seemed like the shift manager just seemed rather disengaged and employee working along her, she seemed well, a bit confused. Perhaps it was her first day or she's new. With that said, I cut them both some slack as working in the high volume fast-casual restaurant isn't glamorous and surely must be tiring. All in all, great food and easy peasy parking.. thus 4 stars! read more

Wow, Great healthy food choices and smoothies. I love the salads, wraps, smoothies. I had the buffalo chicken wrap and the PB smoothie. So delicious and great flavor. The service from the staff was truly amazing and helpful. The place was clean and great colors throughout the restaurant. Ambiance was welcoming and relaxing with music. I definitely will be back. read more

The food was alright, it did not seem as fresh as the east meadow location at all! In addition, the service was okay, not super friendly and not overly helpful. The east meadow location is much more friendly and better service. The ambiance was quiet because I went right before closing. Probably won't be back read more

The manager or owner of this place must be a wonderful person. When I mistakenly went into the wrong place, confusing it with the shop next door, they kindly guided me. I deeply appreciate their excellent manners and consideration, and I will definitely become a regular customer. Of course, the salad tasted great, but there was a Cava sign next to it, so I, being a fool, mistakenly ordered through the Cava app. read more

Just Salad's name is misleading since this is not just an ordinary salad. They make a heck of a good healthful meal, all while being environmentally conscious. First off, the place is immaculately clean, super bright, and welcoming. We were greeted by the incredibly friendly Kevin who walked me through the menu, suggested his favorite, and told us more about the mission of the business. The staff was all super friendly and fast, answering questions and filling and mixing up our salads. They were extra accommodating with some of the substitutions I made, which was definitely appreciated. Every ingredient was fresh, and the combinations they picked out worked really well together. One time I went for the Crispy Chicken Poblano which was absolutely delicious. I was worried the ranch dressing would be too overwhelming but it was actually nice and light. Another time I went for a custom salad which was absolutely fantastic. I also tried out their homemade cucumber mint lemonade, which was really refreshing. Their environmental focus was a nice bonus. Their utensils are reusable and compostable, offer a $1 reusable bowl you can buy and bring back which gets you a free extra salad ingredient every time. I can't wait to come back for another great meal! read more

I am taking my time to write this review because tonight 02/09/26 was hands down the worst customer service experience I've ever had at a fast casual restaurant. After my salad was prepared, I wasn't given a fork. I politely got back on line and waited behind a customer who was paying instead of interrupting. The female employee at the register clearly saw me waiting. When the customer finished, she walked away to help someone else, deliberately ignoring me. (It wasn't even busy for her to walk away.) I raised my voice and said, "Excuse me, can I please have a fork?" She continued walking away and completely ignored me, in front of other customers. The disrespect was so obvious that people around me noticed. Another male employee had to step in because he himself was shocked that she ignored me. He immediately handed me a fork. As I walked away, I looked back and saw him explaining to her what she had just done and she smirked. That smirk told me everything I needed to know. This was my first real meal of the day after a long day of work and appointments, and being treated like an inconvenience over a basic utensil was infuriating, and then smiling about the fact that she did that! I've never been made to feel so dismissed and disrespected in a food establishment. Management: do better. Train your staff, hire people who understand basic human decency, and don't allow employees who openly ignore customers to work the register. Someone with that attitude has no business in customer service. Not surprised this location was practically empty while the establishment next door was packed. Good treatment and customer service matters a lot!! read more

Out of all these healthy salad eateries, the decor and food at Just Salad is my favorite. Love the soothing misty blue tiles and beechwood chairs/tables. The compostable bowls they serve are better shaped than Chopt's long conical bowls where you can't see at first if all the ingredients have been added properly. Totally suggest that you try the Edamame Crunch Warm Bowl with organic sesame tofu and replace arugula with Super Greens Blend and added black lentil (super healthy, loaded with fiber). I also added kale pesto vinaigrette, Brooklyn Best Unsweetened Peach Tea and also an Andy's Amazing Chocolate Chunk Cookie (so good!). The cookie had chunks of chocolate and tasted as if it were homemade! I wish they made a really good brownie like Chopt, too! They did mess up on my order by adding the almonds which I requested they remove, forgot to add the crispy onions and the shredded red cabbage with my Super Green Blend. Make sure to add the side order of bread since it's also very good. Stay away from the subpar Green Detox Smoothie and all of their fountain drinks need improvement, way too sugary tasting. You can find a better half lemonade + unsweetened tea beverage at a McDonald's. It really gets busy here during lunchtime, especially around the holidays! It really shows how good their salads are with a steady stream of people constantly walking through the doors! I was able to have healthy lunch! And for an excellent price when they offer promotions! read more

Excellent introduction to the company. I'm definitely gonna make this place a regular on my family's rotation of places.

Very hearty...they listen to details!!!! I've ordered from them for over 2 years now and 1 salad always lasts me for 2 days.

I was super excited for this new location that opened in Westbury. The store is clean & bright & welcoming. The greens and the ingredients in the cases were fresh & crisp. The employees were super friendly and efficient. They were knowledgeable about the best & freshest and had great suggestions. My salad was great but I wasn't a huge fan of the cucumber mint lemonade. It was a bit too herby. I am so excited to have healthy options so close to home. I'll be back! read more

Came in tonight for a yelp event and was happily surprised. First off, Just Salad differentiates itself by being sustainable and fresh. They reward you if you bring in the bowl with a free topping. Now that's encouragement. Secondly, the salad is fresh. I did not find a single discolored leaf in the order. That is impressive. I feel that in itself says a lot about the employees and the business. The salad dressing was robust and the lemonade was not overly sweet. This is very different from a Chipotle. It's not. They are all about a fresh and clean salad. Not a meal that will make you fall asleep in a food coma. We are talking about a healthy meal. Lastly, the employees behind the counter are great. Proper training by management and great service which tells me the leadership in this brand makes the effort to deliver a better product. This is not a McDonald's fast food line. The store is is clean and spacious allowing for great ambient light from outside with a refreshing decor. By the way, if you do not ask for forks or napkins, they will not be given. That is being environmentally responsible. read more

I was in the area and craving a good salad-I was not disappointed! I easily placed the order online on their website which was very easy. When I arrived they realized they were out of one of the items in my order but offered me a replacement with any other item. I don't like eating meat too often and there were many non meat options available with tons of protein including quinoa and lentils. The staff was super friendly and welcoming-they even thanked me by name and were careful to make my salad exactly how I ordered with care and concern. They are eco-friendly as well which is good and all the ingredients tasted fresh and clean. The inside of the restaurant is clean and welcoming and I really like this chain for salad--I have been to some others in NYC but none are as clean and welcoming as this location! It feels good to be able to eat healthy and have something tasty at the same time-most of their dressings are home-made as well which is nice and you know exactly how many calories are in your salad when you order online and can make as many customizations as you would like . Even the bathroom was immaculate as I saw the staff cleaning both bathrooms carefully when I arrived. read more

Just good, fresh, healthy food served with hearty flare. We had the surprisingly spicy Chicken Tex-Mex type bowl with a kicking Chipotle Lime dressing to accompany Romaine & Chicken chunks. Also, had the Thai Chicken salad, which was plentiful but needed more peanut sauce to accompany, as we ran out. Each satisfied and rejuvenated us after hours of fighting for parking spaces and the last holiday item to stuff stockings. Plenty of parking and space inside to relax for a quick, salubrious bite! read more

Tried just salad for the first time the other day and boy does it blow chop out of the water! Not only are their ingredients fresh but they also just taste better. The employees are also much friendlier. The creativity they have behind their signature salads is incredible. My salad was super tasty and I finished the entire plate. Another thing I appreciate is if you sit to eat they will give you a glass bowl as their goal is to reduce waste. Loved it here ! read more

Ordered online so I cannot tell about the ambiance of the restaurant or the service, but I can tell you about the food. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad wrap. It was packed with lettuce, a little too much lettuce ((I know they're called Just Salad, but come on!)) with some veggies and white cheddar cheese. The chicken was cooked nicely; it was moist and seasoned well. The buffalo ranch dressing was the perfect amount of heat. The wrap used seemed a little stale, but all in all was a good meal. If someone was ordering from here I would get something. But I would not go out of my way to order from here. read more

Good stuff, fresh veggies and wide selection!!! Variety of choices in dressing, location is clean and healthy.

Today, we tried a new fast casual restaurant Just Salad. It shares a building with Cava so the entrance into it is on side. They have seasonal offerings as well as their standards and you can create your own bowl. For an extra $1, you can order it with a reusable blue Just Salad bowl. My hubby had the seasonal bowl Cilantro Lime Chicken which he devoured and I had the Warm Chicken Thigh + Goat Cheese which was also really good. There was a decent amount of seating. Bright and airy inside and service was efficient. We will definitely be back! read more

You know, I placed an order for pick up and I do have to say the one thing that drives me nuts the most is the fact that this franchise feels the need to ask yes or no for a fork. Why wouldn't I need a fork? Esp. for a pick up order! Please stop with this option Just Salad! every to-go order must be given utensils. Anyways, my salad was great - although the staff did overdo my dressing so please measure appropriately next time. read more

When this location opened up right by my job I was SO excited. Unfortunately, I tried it today for the first time and was super disappointed. I had placed my order at around 12:10 pm for pickup. The earliest pick up time they had was 12:28 pm however, I wasn't on break till 12:30 so I chose the next time which was 12:40. I walked in at 12:42 expecting to see my order on the pick up shelf and grab it quickly and go, but this wasn't the case. I waited an additional almost 15 minutes for my order to be ready. This was 15 precious minutes of my very short lunch break wasted. They seemed pretty backed up/overwhelmed. If you can't keep up with the number of order ahead orders, than maybe you shouldn't offer the option. A lot of customers come in during their lunch break and need to quickly be in and out which is why they placed an 'order ahead' to begin with. I finally get my order which was the Tandoori Fire Salad and drive back quickly to my job so that I can eat only to find they had forgotten my chicken. The salad itself was tasty, but how in the world do you leave out the main ingredient? At this point I was extremely frustrated. I wasted 15 extra minutes waiting for my order for it to not even be made correctly most likely because they were running around frantically to fulfill orders for everyone that was waiting. At this point I didn't have enough time to drive back there and ask for my order to be fixed so for $15.00 I ate a bowl of lettuce. Really wanted to love this place, but with such a bad first experience I don't know that I'll be back. read more

Finally Just Salad has come to Long Island! Large location (I mean any location is large compared to the city) but in the worst LI parking lot known to man. Staff is friendly and helpful. Plenty of tables and chairs if you want to sit and eat. We took our order to go as it was later in the evening and they would be closing soon. Menu is what you'd expect at any other Just Salad location. You can also order online or use TGTG. I think this location will do well since it's so close to a massive mall and shopping strip. read more

We went to Cava and the line was really long. We started talking to the girl behind us and she said they were two restaurants in this building and the second one was just salads. It was around the corner. It had no line so we decided to go there. I'm so happy we did. The salads were absolutely delicious. My daughter got a keto salad and I got a warm chicken and goat cheese bowl. They're really good about letting you switch things around. If you don't like one topping, it's easy to put something else in this place. They were very helpful and patient. The restaurant is very conservation friendly. For a dollar you can buy a plastic bowl and bring it back with you every time you come. Then you get one premium item for free for reusing the bowl. I'm pretty sure my bowl is going to get a lot of use. My only problems would be that the menu needs a couple of child friendly items and the drinks are room temperature. They don't have ice. read more

This restaurant is not really child friendly. They dont have a a kid menu. But what was good was that I did a combo so I got my salad and added on a slice of bread with avacado. My daughter loved it and luckily it was the right amount for her. We also shared a smoothie that was delicious. And we got it at happy hour so it was half off. Nice deal Love the reusable containers. Definitely got one to reduce our impact on the environment. Love the message this brand has to take care of the earth. Thank goodness they try when Cava next door definitely doesn't. Wasn't really impressed by the salad here but it was decent. More importantly, the staff don't have a clue of the menu items. The place was absolutely freezing inside and for some reason, the booth seats are so far away from the table. I'd go back but something I would crave. read more

Everything at the location is good I guess but when I have to compare it to the others it's down in service. The person who was preparing my order made the salad but my bowl is half empty. The other location will follow the bowl to the second rim if not to the rim before closing it off. Also my container wasn't closed properly so half the sauce was spilling out of the container and got dirty from it. I didn't receive any utensils to eat my salad with. Just the bowl and a bag to go with. The interaction with the customer wasn't there at all. I have to give it a 3 star because I love just salad as it's the only place I'll go to get a salad. It's the place where my salad eat started at and I always had an amazing experience to all the ones I go to. But this one right here is down in service by far. read more

Fabulous, new, sparking clean spot right on Old Country Road in front of the Costco/Total Wine lot. Lovely staff, real fresh products...I had the grilled chicken Cesar and the meat was just like a home cooked chicken breast, not some odd rendition. It is nice to see more and more healthy, environmentally mindful companies appear in this strip.
