Came here with my bf and we ordered samosa and spring rolls I know very simple however not so simple he is vegan and has had many many samosas in his time and this was his first visit here not mine I've actually eaten here a few times I used to work next door. He got 2 samosas and he said they were the best samosas he ever had they were a great size fresh and filling! I got the spring rolls and they came with a spicy sauce on the side and originally I thought they were going to be pieces but it was two regular sized rolls and they were freshly made crispy and amazing in taste. We will be back soon!!!!!!!

One of the best Indian restaurants for vegetarians. They have wide variety of menu specially South Indian dishes. Service is fast and cordial. Taste and quality of the food is better than leading Indian restaurant. Both alcoholic and non- alcoholic drinks are available. Street parking is available if you're lucky enough. I had a craving for Indian, but specifically, a dish similar to Saravana Bhavan so I was did a search on Grubhub for nearby spots in the area and I came across Honest. Based on the menu provided they had a pretty good variety. I decided to Rava Dosa Marsala. Ordering and delivery went smoothly and respectfully. When I opened the package, I loved that the condiments were packaged separately. Personally, the potatoes were awesome, but the rava dosa hit the spot. The rava dosa especially the not so soggy parts was doused in ghee and boy I do miss my ghee. The portion was deceptively large, I had leftovers, which tastes better the next day. I learned that this spot is walking distance, but it's two blocks down from Singas (see previous review) therefore, I can work an appetite to get additional dosas and come back and enjoy it.

First time going to a vegetarian eatery. The noodles were very tasty and flavored. The sandwich was filling but needed a little kick to it.I will be back to try the other dishes. The pan puri was very nice. I found it to be very filling. The waiter was very polite and attentive.

    Bill for meal

While we came to celebrate a special occasion, the experience left a bad taste. After paying for our meal for 4 people ($117 +$10 tip), we quickly realized that was almost double the price we normally pay there. Before we made it out the door, I realized that they had over charged us. They had snuck in a $24.99 charge for 1/2 gallon. When I questioned it and asked for a refund, the server questioned if we bought a 1/2 gallon of ice cream. I was beyond shocked. I mean we had literally just finished our meal that he serviced us for. While asking for a refund, I also realized that he never informed us that a gratuity was charged (almost $17) and we gave him additional $10. We have no problem tipping but that is very sneaky to take an additional $10 on top of the $17 already charged. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ask them to print your bill before paying instead of them forcing to use their devices. We had originally walked away paying $127 after tip for a meal that should have been $67+tax/tip.

Their chole bhature are really good. Aside from that everything else is mediocre. Do not get their pav bhaji that was terrible.

For a dairy-intolerant vegetarian, Le Botaniste offers safe, healthy, clean, diverse, and delicious food, and friendly service - why should one go anywhere else? When I entered its bright, spacious and nicely decorated premises, I was greeted right away by a staff, who most patiently explained all their food items and the process of ordering, answered my questions, and offered great suggestions. Everything on display was a feast for the eye and and enhancement for one's appetite. I chose the combo meal of half Longevity Bowl (I really wanted to try their Falafel!) and soup of the day (tomato soup). Everything comes with a pile of add-ons. I don't remember them all, but whatever they suggested and gave me, the combination tasted just awesome! The soup was thick in texture, rich in flavour, crunchy with the chopped nuts and seeds, and piping hot. Every bite of the Longevity Bowl was surprisingly delightful. I wasn't super hungry but somehow devoured everything as if starved. I didn't feel stuffed afterwards, just totally satisfied, but the actual "fullness" lasted much longer than I expected. Such is the magic of life-enriching organic produce. Upon departure, I was handed a card, which records one's visits, and after 5 visits, one gets a free bowl! I will certainly come back enough times for that :-)

On top of that, drinks come with ceramic cups and meals are served in ceramic bowls along with stainless steel utensils.

Fortunately, the food was delicious and service was impeccable. We ordered 4 entrées to share and enjoyed everything. My favorite was the Half-Baked Chicken. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

Five flavor plate - a nice amuse-bouche that went through a series of flavors: Hawthorne jelly for sour, yams for sweet - butter melon jelly for bitter, mushroom.and black pepper for spicy, and radish cracker for salty. The bitter melon was my favorite and definitely wasn't that better - it had pleasant spices almost like a chutney. Next was mushrooms in a light cucumber sauce, followed by a savory and thick 18 vegetable soup. This was a nice back to back contrast of light and simple with rich and hearty. The next three courses were aiming to imitate meat a little more. The first was a grilled mushroom over fragrant green millet. Then, sweet and sour tofu skin, and another grilled mushroom covered in a curry sauce. Of these, the tofu skin was my favorite as the bright course in between the savory ones. Next was rice in a savory broth with peach jelly, and then a nutty noodle dish with a smooth and creamy sauce with a nice blend of spices. These helped round out the meal, and the noodles were especially tasty. To end was a dessert made from berries and sweet potato, almost with the texture of ice cream. Reservation is required and the meal is prepaid except for tip. The whole thing came to about $130 each after tax and tip.
