Came across this vegan restaurant while walking around SoHo, and it ended up being one of the most filling delicious vegan meals I have ever had. I ordered the Chili Sin Carne and Priyanka Samosa Bowl. The Chili Sin Carne was yummy, especially the turmeric onions. The Priyanka Samosa Bowl was a limited-time menu item when I visited, if they still have that on the menu, I highly recommend ordering it. That bowl is extremely delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant itself is very clean and has unique decor which I loved. Also, the people there were very kind and were explaining the items that were on the menu, since it was my first time there. Overall, such a great experience and definitely a spot I would come back to!

Stopped in to try the seasonal samosa bowl and was not disappointed. The saag is really tasty and served nice and warm. I love and appreciate that Le Botaniste is always evolving their menu and flavor additions. My coworkers who came with me were impressed at how fast we got our food and with how nice the interior is for a fast casual place.

What a beautiful and interesting concept and you know how much I love samples! They are expecting people to ask since it's a unique concept of plant based and healthy food combinations. The manager explained the process and I decided to build my own bowl with tofu and sweet potatoes. I wish I had some gluten free tamari to add but table salt was helpful to add flavor. The interior is beautiful and I love all of the old fashioned apothecary vibes. The line is getting long at 2 pm on a Monday afternoon!

I casually came across this beautiful place while picking up some stuff around the neighborhood. Although my husband and I are not vegan/plant-based only, we enjoy eating healthy wholesome food from time to time. It surprised us with delicious dishes like the Tibetan Mama Bowl and the Pasta Bolo. Both hearty and satisfying. The staff were great, it was our first time so they explained the different options on the menu and even let us tried some of the sauces. This is one of the many different locations around the city, so I hope you give it a try like I did!

This place was such a pleasant surprise to find. It's a vegetarian spot, but not just regular veggies on a plate, but rather, a creative blend of intriguing dishes I rested by the cooks here. I love the decoration as the motto is that food is medicine (which I totally agree with), and the restaurant is set up to look like an apothecary of sorts. The staff was friendly and informative about the food being served and fast with serving it as well. I hope to eat at one of their locations again, such a great place to try out!

SERVICE - one of many locations in new york city - located in soho near the canal street station - ambiance good for a semi casual meal or takeout - workers are friendly and explain menu options - food served quickly as it is made to order - focus on foods that are nutrient rich and balanced - can sample different sauces to see which one you like best MENU - vegetable focused bowls, starters, and desserts - all vegan/vegetarian and gluten free - average price ($16 per bowl) FOOD - saag bota (8/10): brown rice topped with a spinach eggplant chickpea curry, sweet potatoes, mixed herbs, curry hummus, mint dressing, and a crispy cracker. This was a winter special dish and it satisfied the need for a warming dinner on a cold night. The addition of eggplant to the saag adds an unexpected richness without making it heavy. My favorite part was the cracker with the curry hummus. The hummus is chunkier than regular hummus so it feels almost like the texture of an egg salad. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! It is a great quick lunch or dinner option that is made with whole foods and is not super expensive.

The aesthetics were cool. You can sample before ordering. The Tibetan Mama is a popular choice, but it was a bit sweet for me. I had the Chili Sin Carne bowl, which was not very spicy, but tasty and filling. The lemonade was also refreshing and not too sweet or tart.

Fun cool and unpretentious vegan restaurant and wine bar. Honestly super easy for non vegans to love too. Servers are super helpful with explaining dishes and the build your own options. I always mix it up and it's always delicious no matter the combination. Their soups are really great and the mint chutney and seed mix topping are a must!

A cozy, plant-based and vegan-friendly restaurant not too far from China Town! Closest subway stop was Chandler St, and since I was in the area, a quick search for "vegan" eateries nearby led me here. It's like a fancier version of those build-your-own-bowl places. I got one of their special seasonal flavors, the saag bowl, which came with rice, curried spinach, chickpeas, sweet potato, spicy hummus, and a green sauce. It was definitely filling and was the perfect warm treat for all the cold weather NYC has experiencing lately. If I lived here, this would definitely be a healthy staple to frequently visit.

So great! I have been only eating meat twice a week. Today was supposed to be my meat day, but when I came across this place, I was like "nope, vegetarian it is." Just deliciousness. The location's vibe is so warm. And there are folks working in here, too. Will return.

I didn't think I could like a fast casual place more than Digg but this place has won me over. I love le botaniste. Especially this SoHo location. It's clean, has good service, and I always feel good/healthy afterwards. Worth a visit even if you're not vegetarian/vegan and if you are you're in for a great time!

La Botaniste is a local chain serving plant-based fare in the most gorgeous of settings. I met a friend here for dinner and we had a great time. The aesthetics of this shop really lets you relax compared to the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Upon entering, you either order and grab your food, or find a table to settle down first. My dinner was the Tibetan Curry which was pretty good but was made much better when you added some baked tofu into the mix. I felt the depth of flavor could've been deeper but was still happy with having a great hearty bowl in the heart of Manhattan be so readily available. They didn't have their full dessert options available so I'll have to try that the next time I'm back for another round.

This fast casual spot is so LA coded in the best way possible. I believe everything is vegan here and super super healthy. As someone who is sensitive to sodium, I never feel like the food is too salty, and I really like their whole philosophy of how food should be medicine. I feel like this has more soul and warmth than something like sweetgreen and I actually think the dishes here are more well balanced. I feel really good and well nourished after eating here and you can't really go wrong with any of the options. My personal favorite entrée is probably the saag because I love the spinach and eggplant for fiber as well as the young coconut ceviche. It is acidic and tangy, and the coconuts are really tender and high-quality. Love these two dishes together as well as the raw chocolate cake for a little sweet treat. Super hazelnutty and I don't feel bloated or sugar crashed after eating. The service is really quick even when the place is pretty busy and I would definitely recommend for a warm comforting meal.

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

Starting with the positives -the banchan was solid across the board and really flavorful. That said, charging for banchan feels strange to me. Traditionally, it's complimentary, like bread at an Italian restaurant so that part didn't sit right but it was flavorful. The chigae was interesting and probably the standout dish. It had a unique flavor that reminded me of a mix between soondubu and dwenjang chigae which worked well. Unfortunately, the rest was a miss. The bossam was overly salty and didn't feel true to the dish. The tteokbokki was another disappointment -it came with cheese (which wasn't expected) and just fell flat overall. For the hype, I expected much more especially because I've eaten Korean food my whole life. The venue is small and the seats in the back are uncomfortable.
