Came across this vegan restaurant while walking around SoHo, and it ended up being one of the most filling delicious vegan meals I have ever had. I ordered the Chili Sin Carne and Priyanka Samosa Bowl. The Chili Sin Carne was yummy, especially the turmeric onions. The Priyanka Samosa Bowl was a limited-time menu item when I visited, if they still have that on the menu, I highly recommend ordering it. That bowl is extremely delicious and full of flavor. The restaurant itself is very clean and has unique decor which I loved. Also, the people there were very kind and were explaining the items that were on the menu, since it was my first time there. Overall, such a great experience and definitely a spot I would come back to!

The manager explained the process and I decided to build my own bowl with tofu and sweet potatoes. I wish I had some gluten free tamari to add but table salt was helpful to add flavor. The interior is beautiful and I love all of the old fashioned apothecary vibes. The line is getting long at 2 pm on a Monday afternoon!

I love and appreciate that Le Botaniste is always evolving their menu and flavor additions. My coworkers who came with me were impressed at how fast we got our food and with how nice the interior is for a fast casual place.

Although my husband and I are not vegan/plant-based only, we enjoy eating healthy wholesome food from time to time. It surprised us with delicious dishes like the Tibetan Mama Bowl and the Pasta Bolo. Both hearty and satisfying. The staff were great, it was our first time so they explained the different options on the menu and even let us tried some of the sauces. This is one of the many different locations around the city, so I hope you give it a try like I did!

This was a winter special dish and it satisfied the need for a warming dinner on a cold night. The addition of eggplant to the saag adds an unexpected richness without making it heavy. My favorite part was the cracker with the curry hummus. The hummus is chunkier than regular hummus so it feels almost like the texture of an egg salad. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! It is a great quick lunch or dinner option that is made with whole foods and is not super expensive.

Closest subway stop was Chandler St, and since I was in the area, a quick search for "vegan" eateries nearby led me here. It's like a fancier version of those build-your-own-bowl places. I got one of their special seasonal flavors, the saag bowl, which came with rice, curried spinach, chickpeas, sweet potato, spicy hummus, and a green sauce. It was definitely filling and was the perfect warm treat for all the cold weather NYC has experiencing lately. If I lived here, this would definitely be a healthy staple to frequently visit.
So great! I have been only eating meat twice a week. Today was supposed to be my meat day, but when I came across this place, I was like "nope, vegetarian it is." Just deliciousness. The location's vibe is so warm. And there are folks working in here, too. Will return.

La Botaniste is a local chain serving plant-based fare in the most gorgeous of settings. I met a friend here for dinner and we had a great time. The aesthetics of this shop really lets you relax compared to the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Upon entering, you either order and grab your food, or find a table to settle down first. My dinner was the Tibetan Curry which was pretty good but was made much better when you added some baked tofu into the mix. I felt the depth of flavor could've been deeper but was still happy with having a great hearty bowl in the heart of Manhattan be so readily available. They didn't have their full dessert options available so I'll have to try that the next time I'm back for another round.
I believe I've found a permanent solution for lunch upon my monthly haircut trip to lower Manhattan. For a dairy-intolerant vegetarian, Le Botaniste offers safe, healthy, clean, diverse, and delicious food, and friendly service - why should one go anywhere else? When I entered its bright, spacious and nicely decorated premises, I was greeted right away by a staff, who most patiently explained all their food items and the process of ordering, answered my questions, and offered great suggestions. Everything on display was a feast for the eye and and enhancement for one's appetite. I chose the combo meal of half Longevity Bowl (I really wanted to try their Falafel!) and soup of the day (tomato soup). Everything comes with a pile of add-ons. I don't remember them all, but whatever they suggested and gave me, the combination tasted just awesome! The soup was thick in texture, rich in flavour, crunchy with the chopped nuts and seeds, and piping hot. Every bite of the Longevity Bowl was surprisingly delightful. I wasn't super hungry but somehow devoured everything as if starved. I didn't feel stuffed afterwards, just totally satisfied, but the actual "fullness" lasted much longer than I expected. Such is the magic of life-enriching organic produce. Upon departure, I was handed a card, which records one's visits, and after 5 visits, one gets a free bowl! I love coming to this organic and healthy eatery, especially since you can earn points on purchases that can be redeemed for discounts and free products. You don't need to download an app, just sign up for Le Botaniste Rewards at the register before making a payment. This is the healthiest meal I can find in SoHo, Manhattan. Everything is gluten free, and many items are also dairy free and soy free. Good service from the eatery staff. The place wasn't busy. Just note, there are restrooms available for customers only. I love the comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The Moroccan Veggies are delicious and healthy! The Omega 3 Brownie is to die for. On top of that, drinks come with ceramic cups and meals are served in ceramic bowls along with stainless steel utensils. read more

I ate here on the hottest summer day and I wanted something healthy and cold as it was 101 degrees outside. I had the lemonade iced tea and the Botanical bowl with falafel . Delicious . This fast casual spot is so LA coded in the best way possible. I believe everything is vegan here and super super healthy. As someone who is sensitive to sodium, I never feel like the food is too salty, and I really like their whole philosophy of how food should be medicine. I feel like this has more soul and warmth than something like sweetgreen and I actually think the dishes here are more well balanced. I feel really good and well nourished after eating here and you can't really go wrong with any of the options. My personal favorite entrée is probably the saag because I love the spinach and eggplant for fiber as well as the young coconut ceviche. It is acidic and tangy, and the coconuts are really tender and high-quality. Love these two dishes together as well as the raw chocolate cake for a little sweet treat. Super hazelnutty and I don't feel bloated or sugar crashed after eating. The service is really quick even when the place is pretty busy and I would definitely recommend for a warm comforting meal. read more

This is a 100% organic, plant based place. There are several locations. I went to the one in Soho. I went with the Botanical Menu which is a cup of soup of the day and choice of one half portion bowl of your choice. I went w/ the Botanical Salad which was a salad mix, quinoa, superseed avocado, root veggies, tumeric onions, red sauerkraut, micro greens w/ some saffron aioli dressing. This contains nut/ cashew and their pea soup. I gotta say, this was one of the most freshest and flavorful plant based meals I've had! I also ordered a beet juice to wash everything down. So refreshing! The meal was so memorable that I came back later that day and picked up two desserts, the Raspberry Raw Cake which has dates, coconut, passion fruit, almond and cashew and their Omega 3 Brownie made of flax seeds, cocoa, brown sugar, buckwheat flour and corn flour. This was served w/ a side of cashew cream. I normally don't like super healthy desserts but these two were fantastic! This place is a winner for me! Place is clean and cute. Clean and fresh tasting meal at a very decent rate for NYC! I enjoyed bites of the: Veggie sushi roll (a must try!) Mediterranean Salad Carrot juice My only reason for a 4/5 was the salad... not sure how ratatouille is Mediterranean. While I did eat it, I wouldn't say I overly enjoyed it. The tzatziki was delicious though!!! Inside there's plenty of seating to enjoy there, outside or to go! My friend and I enjoyed a 5 night trip to NYC. We enjoyed eating at all the vegan restaurants. This one was so good, we ate here 3 times. They have several cafes throughout the city. Their food is healthy and organic and delicious and so fresh! I especially liked the Tibetan Mama. Stop in for lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed! read more

I'm so hooked on @le_botaniste since I tried it for the first time! This vegan fast food place has a few locations in the city (please open in the financial district) and is a solid option for plant based food. I love getting their botanical menu, which comes with a half-sized bowl and soup of the day. It fills up my tummy for sure! Tried their drinks too and those were also amazing. read more

I've been coming to Le Botaniste since they opened and I keep seeing new locations pop up in the city. That made me so happy! But now I'm not sure.. I came in for a late lunch and ordered Pasta Bolo, which actually was called something different before and none of the employees knew that. Which is ok! I know staff constantly changes. When I got my bowl it looked much smaller than portions they used to serve. I was looking forward to nice hearty bowl instead of a puny appetizer size one. Super disappointing.. read more
