This restaurant has the best Nihari in New York, by far. And I don't know how no one else is talking about. They make a spicy nihari that is simply amazing. I haven't had anything else from here so I can't comment on the Karahi, but I get the Nihari at least once a month and it can't be beaten by anything else in this city. read more

Kabab and chicken karahi is very tasty in dessert kheer is very good even everything is so good

I have eaten at this restaurant a few times. The last time I went will be the last time I go there. I went with a friend who needed water for his medicine. When we asked for tap water, we were told they do not dispense tap water, that we could buy their bottled water. I ordered chicken vindaloo. It was like no other vindaloo I have had. Usually the vindaloo was made with chunks of chicken breast. Here it was mostly bone with a little chicken meat: chicken neck, the thinnest part of thighs and breast bone covered with little meat, two small cut pieces of a chicken leg, and some potato. Really not enough meat for a meal. I would have been okay if I could have digested bone. The sauce was not your typical vindaloo--tasty but not spicy. The chili garlic naan I ordered was served cold. There was what I assume was prayer chanting on their speaker system which was so loud my friend and I could barely hear ourselves talking. They did turn down the volume when asked. At the end of the meal the server asked how everything was. When I responded truthfully he was defensive. As I said at the beginning, I will not be returning. read more

The people are very cheap with chutney make you buy it if you want it for your left over meal.. like whatttt other resturants give it for free, they are stingy. Also they are very expensive $40 dollars for a chicken Karahi is ridiculous, we would be visiting more often if it was cheaper, but we rarely ever go cuz of the steep prices. read more

In the last month, I have eaten here twice and catered for an additional Iftar at home. Being a true Lahori, the food's taste here brings me back home as it is authentic, flavorful and just right. The Karahis (goat and chicken) are amazing and the channa are probably the best I have had in the US. I can't wait to go back and try everything on their menu. read more

Through DoorDash, I placed an order at this restaurant for Chicken Tikka Masala and some samosa on Christmas day. (Just want to make clear I did not interact with the restaurant or its staff directly). When my food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The chicken tikka masala was delicious and spicy (as I ordered it) and the samosas were yummy as well. The chicken dish also came with rice so I didnt have to order that separately. I was really happy with the food and will definitely order from here again. read more

This place was packed! I must be missing something! Customer service was great! That's a plus! curry goat didn't really taste like curry goat, The sauce was a bit tick and meat did not taste like goat, the filling for the Samosa was good, but the crust was over cooked, biryani was okay. I didn't try the butter chicken. For a valley stream spot it's okay, will I crave this again? I don't know let's see! read more

Food quality has severely deteriorated. The meat is never fresh. There's always something off about the food. literally no difference between chicken makhni and chicken korma, both are orange lol. I ordered the beef chapli kebabs are they were tasteless and raw!!! I gave this restaurant so many chances but l'm always disappointed. This is the same owner as Butt Karahi on Uber eats and the place called "biryani house." All of them have the same address read more

I came here for a quick bite to eat, when walking into the restaurant to my surprise it was empty completely empty, I placed an order for samosas, mango lassi and pani puri to go the person who took my order was nice however when I was sitting to wait for my order I wanted to add an order of garlic naan and he said no, He couldn't it was too busy now this confused me and I seriously thought it was a joke there was absolutely no one sitting down they had a few mobile orders but a simple request to add on another item was declined. I received my order and the food was delicious the mango lassi was pre made but really good the pani puri was tasty they came prefilled with onion chickpeas and some had potatoes and the samosas had the perfect hint of heat that I really enjoyed. The restaurant itself was clean but I seriously think the customer service could do BETTER like never decline an order from a customer it left me not wanting to return read more

This is a local spot that serves amazing food. Found this place on the whim to have Mother's Day lunch. Was a bit apprehensive at first with the lack of reviews. But this place serves up amazing Pakistani food. We got the sizzling meat platter, butter chicken, chicken biriyani, chicken Karahi, Garlic Naan, Chili Garlic Naan, Wings. All the dishes were extremely flavorful. A 10/10 for first time trying Pakistani food. It's was a somewhat long wait but there was only one waitress but she moved swiftly and attentively. They didn't have certain things available on the menu either they were sold out or couldn't make it due to the high volume of customers. read more

Great restaurant, newly opened. I'm visiting NY from Chicago , I have tried so many Indian/Pakistani restaurants in Chicago for 20 years but this restaurant is so far the best . I ordered the lamb biryani extra spicy. Delicious and enough food for at least 2 people !!! You should come and try it out. Nice staff and good vibes restaurant read more

definitely wont recommend to food lovers! as myself being food lover knows how Karahi and desi food taste like ( desi food is my weakness, i am frequent traveller and this time stopped over in New York for 3 days , i like to munch food in different restaurants) dry chicken dipped in their already made curry sauce with uncooked onion and even didn't bothered to cook curry properly, roti was too hard and thin, mixed grill was another waste of money ( seems chicken was not fresh) overall bad food quality if ever gets chance again to visit New York and if even this restaurant will be last option for dine in , will prefer to star instead have bad quality food read more

They have the world best karahi and biryani. I'm just surprised they don't have 5 star reviews. They may struggle with service sometime because it can get busy. But overall they have the best desi food. read more

The experience at Butt Karahi restaurant was disappointing, to say the least. The customer service left much to be desired as the staff was not very friendly. It felt like they were doing us a favor by serving us. Additionally, the food quality did not justify the price. Overall, a forgettable experience that I would not recommend. read more

The personal that works here are horrible and disrespectful. I've waited over and hour for my order. The chef in the kitchen actually came to the front counter and told me to go F*** myself !!!! I'm trying to contact the owner as such behavior should not be tolerated. I would highly not recommend this place !!!!! read more

Best karahi. And service was ok. They didn't give us good behari. But karahi was perfect.

Went There and the food that we pay good amount for was not given to us for thirty minutes. We Waited and then had to speak up. The Worker in front was rude(didn't know his name he has long hair which they never tie in a net which is unhygienic) when asked for our food and continued to not listen and serve catering order the whole time while he promised us food will be out in fifteen minutes. Behari Kabab were not cooked properly and worker admitted later on that the meat was old. Then After the bad service and food, worker overcharges for biryani when my parents came here last week with a different price. You Bring bad service, overcharge people, argue with customers when your meat is old and overcharge?? My Family and friends came here with our recommendation and now will not come here again. To Run a business you should be honest and humble with customers. read more

One of the best, desi Indian/Pakistani restaurant I have had. Fabulous Biryani, Kadais and Mix Grills. All dishes are made fresh on order basis. The quantity is great and very good for the value for the money. For a lot of guests its recommended to call ahead of time due to COVID seating restrictions. The owner is the nicest and most understanding young guy. Highly recommend this place, definitely a must try. read more

This place is about to be my go to!!! Extremely clean and the seating is super comfortable. The service is optimal and I don't even know where to start about the food. It is such tasteful cuisine, I've definitely been missing out. My family and I had my birthday dinner here and it was the most authentic desi cuisine I've had on Long Island thus far, and that says a lot because I'm a foodie!! Definitely coming back to this spot! read more
