    Chicken Drumsticks

A modern Pakistani restaurant in Westbury. I saw the pics of the Fried Coconut ice cream and I had to go check it out. Ambiance : modern decor dining room. Friendly staff. Food: we ordered: Chicken Drumsticks - fried chicken drumsticks with r the meat pushed up like a lollipop. Crunchy crust, very well seasoned meat. 4/5 Chicken Tikka Kebabs - beautiful presentation. Well seasoned but a little dry. 4/5 Karahi Biryanis Goat - a rice dish with goat. A very hearty comfort food. Large portion size to feed 2-3 people. 3/5 Fries coconut Ice Cream - similar concept to Fried Ice Cream, but with a fried coconut batter crust. If you like coconut, then this is a must try. 5/5

The food at Karahi Adda is undeniably good, but the surprise 20% gratuity for just two people left a bad taste in my mouth. This kind of charge is usually for larger groups, parties of six or more and it wasn't posted anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant. It felt sneaky and dishonest. I won't be coming back until they're upfront about their prices and stop trying to pull fast ones on customers. I asked the waiter about it and he didn't know what to say. Do better management!

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant! When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked into a really cute restaurant. I was served by 2 really great servers. I started with the lime soda which was a little salty but learned that was how it's served. For my meal I had several items: Allo Channa Chaat Chicken cheesr sliders Green Chili tikka kebab Pani Puri Garlic naan chicken drumstick Tandoori chicken white chicken karahi Paneer tikka Shrimp Karahi All the food was very good and seasoned very well! I don't have a dish I didn't like. I really enjoyed my experience all in all!

We've been meaning to try this place and finally had an opportunity to indulge. As soon as you walk in you're immediately hit the with amazing smell of cumin and the tandoori spices of Pakistan. I immediately started salivating, it was intoxicating. You know the food is gonna be good when you can smell it right when you walk in. It took a minute to understand the menu and decide on what we were trying. Thankfully our waitress was able to guide us through the menu and we made sure to order enough to share and be satisfied. We started with the beef kebabs which were hand formed and very tender. The spice was mild yet flavorful with a bit of heat at the end. Goes perfect with the yogurt sauce and the garlic naan. Service was fast and as soon as the dish was ready it was brought to our table. Shortly after taking the first bite of the beef kebabs, the lamb chops were brought to our table smelling amazing and sizzling hot. Surprisingly we got an extra one because we planned to share, thanks to the waitress and chef/ restaurant that we didn't have to fight over the extra . That lamb chops was very satisfying and the char on the meat/ bone was perfect. You really get to enjoy both the tender meat and the crispy part off the bone. Pairs really well with the mint sauce, I could eat this all day. Finally, we got a serving of the chicken karahi and it was served in a big metal pot that was opened right in front of your table. The presentation was perfect because you get to smell those amazing spices in the dish and it really enhances the flavors. The only drawback, and it's minor, is the amount of bones in the chicken. I just wanted to shovel it all in with the garlic naan but I had to slow down and savor each morsel. Overall, the flavors were similar to Indian food but unique in that there is different heat elements. The spices used really complement the dishes we had and it was a very satisfying dinner. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. It's definitely worth the drive out and you won't be disappointed with the experience. It gets pretty crowded after 5 on the weekends so make sure to come early to get a seat.

Amazing Paksitani food In Long Island. Legit genuine flavors of Pakistan. Head chef/owner is a very kind humble man and is very hands-on with his establishment. All the food, Karahi's & naan were absolutely delicious. If you like Pakistani good Karahi Adda is a must! Malai both was succulent & flavorful. The Karahi's were perfection .

I went here with my sister for lunch one day. We had the chicken momos for appetizer and I had the chicken malai boti and my sister had the baby chicken karahi. We also ordered some butter naan. The food was fantastic! The chicken was tender and full of flavor and so so delicious! I definitely can't wait to come back soon

This is the best pakistani food in the whole area. I strongly recommend you go here with friends and family. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I got karachi chicken, beef kebob, and a couple of naan. The food was extraordinary seasoned and was so delicious. I haven't had this good pakistani food in awhile! This place is a gem. the ambiance is big and cozy. I liked the decoration and everything is clean. Thanks for existing and bringing authentic food to town! A++

Karahi Adda truly lives up to its name as the House of Spice! For apps we ordered paani puri. They come with 8 pieces but happy to see they added an extra for our group of three. We ordered the beef kebab, baby chicken karahi (chef's special), chicken malai boti, butter naan, garlic naan, and mango lassis, and every single dish was absolutely delicious. The chef's special was definitely one of the best choices we made--packed with rich, bold flavors. The chicken karahi was incredibly tender/flavorful, and the spices were just perfect. The butter naan was flaky and well-buttered, and the chicken malai boti melted in our mouths. It was so soft and juicy. The garlic naan was fresh and paired perfectly with the dishes. And the mango lassi? The perfect sweet and refreshing touch to the meal! The ambience was lively, and even though the restaurant was packed when we arrived for dinner on a Tuesday night, the service was still attentive and efficient. The only downside was that they put water bottles on our table and we didn't ask for water and charged us for it. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Pakistani cuisine! Will definitely be coming back.

Located in the heart of Long Island , they definitely brought out the flavors of Pakistan to NY. Had the food here today , I think by far the best Pakistani food I've had in New York. They had mastered the KARAHI's. We started off by trying the Kababs and Tikkas . After we tried the Goat and Chicken Karahi which was the Chefs Special paired with Naans. Cleansed the taste buds with friend coconut ice-cream and rasmalai. Ambiance- Nice and Casual Service- 10/10 Parking in the Rear Good for Large Groups Reservation are not always Needed Owner/Chef is hands on and is very passionate on his cuisine.

"This review is for an extremely bad service and was initially posted in Urdu language but the restaurant owner (Imran) got scared and got that removed from YELP! Here you go again... The guy named Imran at the front desk was incredibly rude. I was accompanied by my 3 kids, wife and a 75 year elderly mother. When I asked him for a chair for my old lady while waiting, he rudely refused. When I asked if I could park my car in the front so she can sit in the car, he said, 'Why don't you just bring your car inside my restaurant?' Well, we did wait but after standing outside for quite a while, when I asked about our turn, he arrogantly said, 'Please stand outside and keep waiting.' This rudeness was also ignored. The menu was limited, and whenever I inquired about an item, I was told, 'It's not available today' or 'It might not suit your taste.' It seemed they lacked confidence. In simpler terms, only a few dishes were highlighted, implying that we should order from those. The karahi had excessive chilies, the chicken cheese skewers were quite bland. However, the biryani served in the karahi was considerably better. The naan were served cold and despite repeatedly asking for paper napkins, only three or four were provided, despite our group of six. When it was time to pay the bill, I encountered the typical desi Pakistani cheapskate small-heartedness. This crooked guy (Imran) included an 18% tip in the bill, and an additional 4% charge for paying by credit card, which is explicitly illegal. They think they can get away with this short-sightedness, but this shortsighted Pakistani community doesn't refrain from showing their true colors. They don't build a customer base; instead, they think they can just loot them in one shot. I can confidently say that if a restaurant cannot provide good service and pleasant hospitality, they'll soon lose their customers. When I mentioned that it's the customer's choice whether to give a tip or not, the host named Imran said, 'Since Desi people don't tip, we rightfully claim it ourselves.' Hey! What kind of extraction is this? No service, no taste, no hospitality... and yet, you demand a tip. All prospective customers are cautioned about this restaurant's bad-mannered and bad-taste, chili-infested food, and warned to steer away of these deceitful cheaters who create a cloud of coal smoke. It's truly regrettable that I wasted my time, money, and appetite traveling all the way from Maryland to such a useless shitty place."

Too pricey for the amount of food especially chicken in chicken biryani. Taste was good but hardly any chicken pieces in the biryani.

We started with appetizers like vegi samosas, spring rolls, pakora, and aloo tikki. Everything came out fresh, crispy, and full of flavor, making it a great way to kick off the meal. For the mains, we tried a mix of dishes including lahori channa, beef haleem, beef nihari, butter chicken, chicken pulao, and vegetable noodles. Each dish had its own depth of flavor, from the rich and comforting slow cooked curries to the perfectly spiced rice and noodles. The nihari and haleem especially stood out for how hearty and traditional they tasted. These types of dishes are known for their deep, slow cooked flavors and are staples in Pakistani cuisine. We also had items from the mixed grill along with fresh naan and white rice which tied everything together perfectly. The portions were generous and great for sharing. To end the meal, we tried desserts and drinks like mango delight, fruit custard, and rooh afza which were refreshing and a perfect sweet finish. Service was friendly and the space is great for groups or family style dining. Overall, this is a solid spot if you're looking for authentic Pakistani food with a wide variety of options and comforting, flavorful dishes.
