This location was a little smaller than I'm used to on Long Island bit that certainly did not slow down the flow of cars through the drive through and the amount of people coming through the doors. These new stores are built for the drive through more than the internal diner. The location, while small is all windows and very bright. The restaurant was very clean. The person behind the counter greeted me with a big hello and was very pleasant and courteous. I can only imagine how overwhelming it can be when you're that busy and the team is preparing food as fast as they can. These reviews don't change much from location to location and I would not expect it to. Everyone does their job and follows the procedures... This always makes for a pleasurable experience. The service here isn't great, the food is a hit or miss and the prices has definitely increased significantly while the quality has gone down. Maybe that's why they brought back the potato wedges & hot wings. I got them recently and they were very good, though the wings do have way more batter now so I prefer the flats. Their spicy and has that satisfying crunch but still not as good as Popeyes. The wedges were well-seasoned and crispy, just as good as I remember before they discontinued it in 2020. Haven't been to the Flushing location since it opened 2 years ago. Even the manual ketchup dispenser isn't there anymore. Instead, there's an automated ketchup one in replacement. Similar to those soda dispenser machines from AMC movie theaters. Ordered the 3 Chicken Tender Combo. Doesn't come with coleslaw. The sweet iced tea has just the right amount of sweetness. The fried chicken pieces got crispier over the years and not soggy anymore compared to when they first opened back in 2024. Also I ordered the burger cooked medium but it came out pink in the center, not my preference for chopped meat. Maybe I ordered the wrong item? I plan to try other menu items in the future to see if they hit my taste buds differently.
