The fries were over-salted, chicken fingers/tenders were fairly bland in terms of fast food chicken and were sort of soggy/not crispy at all. The texas toast was one of the redeeming qualities of the meal, nicely buttered and very fluffy while being slightly crunchy on the edge. Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had at a Cane's. I went upstairs to grab a seat for my boyfriend and me while he was already ordering our food, and out of nowhere an employee snaps at me to "get down" because I "have to order food first." I tried to explain that my bf was ordering already. but instead of listening or offering any real explanation, he just kept repeating the exact same line like a robot. Ordered The Caniac Combo for $19.99, that included 6 chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, 2 Cane's sauces, Texas toast, soda, and we substituted the coleslaw with a piece of Texas toast. The chicken fingers were bland, batter was not crispy (no crunch) and it was oily. The fries had a small hint of salt, and did not have a crispy outer layer.
