If you're craving fast food but don't want it it bad unhealthy, this place is the healthier alternative. They have large portions of chicken that are juicy and crispy. I recommend their Super Chicken Sandwich, Fried Chicken Leg, Special Chicken wings, and if you're really hungry, try their paprika Fried Whole chicken! Their service was also surprisingly fast especially since I ordered for a large group of people. I would definitely come back again.

Food was served fresh and hot. The wings and the chicken slab in the chicken burger were veryyyy juicy and well seasoned. I think it's dark meat in the chicken slab . The French fries were hot and have a nice crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was good. Only complaints are that the tables (there's only 2) in the restaurant are VERY rough looking and the place has a noticeable smell of oil, but that's to be expected at a place like this and they seem to attempt to control it with a long wall of fabric between the kitchen and counter. I wish there were places to stand and eat. Will come back if I pass by again.

Crispy, juicy, and flavorful chicken. Crunchy and tasty fries. Holds well over delivery, didn't end up soggy after a 30 minute travel time. Sandwich was not as crunchy as Popeye's, but better than the other chains, including Crown and Kennedy. Estimated time was 20 minutes to prep but it took longer. The soda in the combo is a can. Nevertheless, a good option if you're looking for better-than-fast-food fried chicken. Worth.

So omg, the chicken isn't a joke here! it's mouthwatering and absolutely delicious! The size of the chicken cutlet alone is enormous, i had to cut it in half and save it for the next day! I was confused with the menu, i think there's an innocent language barrier. I thought the fries with cheese was cheese fries, but it's mozzarella sticks. Either way it was very good but didn't come with any dip, that's a big deal for me. The operation itself has some work to do with properly naming the menu and getting the order to print correctly. I was given the wrong order when i came to pick mine up and he gave me the right order but with the wrong name.

Amazing service. I try the sandwiches and nuggets and are very fresh and delicious. The prices are really good for the amount and quality. I really prefer now PAPA chicken then McDonald's. And it's just crossing the street. Help new businesses on the neighborhood.

Pricing is cheap for what you're getting. Spent $24 after taxes and credit card fees and got the combo for 2. We got it for take out and they were pretty fast. Chicken is tender as well as flavorful. Cheese sticks are kinda mid so just don't get them. Take out tends to get soggy so just be aware. Other than that pretty enjoyable. 4.4/5.0 star experience Tip: don't get sides if you're going to take it to go and eat it hours later

In search of lunch time eats while at work I decided to be brave and check out PaPa. I have passed this place going and coming from work and was curious to see what the chicken was about. At first it appeared to be very similar to the Korean Fried Chicken spots, but its Chinese style fried chicken. I yelped the reviews and there were high praises about the famous "paprika chicken sandwich". I decided to go for it. The menu here is very sparse. Basically chicken cooked your way ( roast, fried - wings, sandwich and wrap). Fries and onion rings. I was disappointed in the side dish options. My coworker and I were famished so he chose a chicken paprika wrap and I had a chicken paprika sandwich with onion rings. The food was prepped fresh so we had about a 10-15 min wait. Service was great. We sat down and listened to some Chinese rap which was very groundbreaking for me. At one point we thought it was Altlanta rappers The Migos. The vibe of this place is very modern style Chinese takeout. Many Yelpers have referenced this place as a typical chicken spot in China. Reminded me of the ambiance of a Korean chicken spot I love. I definitely want to visit China and see for myself the comparison in the near future. ( need to work on my Cantonese and mandarin first --- any volunteer tutors ?) The paprika chicken burger arrived on a soft fresh sesame bun. The chicken had a little spicy kick to it and was topped with a sweet mayonnaise and lettuce. The chicken breast was breaded just right. Crunchy and crispy. It was very comparable to KFC's crispy chicken sandwich. The onions rings were too breaded and oily. Standard. Nothing more to write home about.

HIDDEN GEM ! Hands down the best burger I've ever had in nyc in terms of price and quality. Honestly nothing beats this. I was surprised when I tried the popular Popeyes sandwich, which doesn't even compare to the paprika chicken sandwich at this spot. Idk what the hype was about.. The sandwiches here are huge, fresh and super juicy. Totally worth the price. The flavor is also super savory and sweet. With a bit a spice! I love how affordable it is as well. I usually go with my bf for the 2 people combo. Which is two paprika sandwiches, four sides and two sodas. For only $22 We've always order 4 paprika chickens for the sides. They also deliver around flushing.

The best chicken sandwich ever!!! Me and my family always get the paprika chicken sandwich, it is always so juicy and crispy. The chicken always is too big for the bun, which is great, the perfect ratio. Ever since I was introduced to this spot, I have not gone anywhere else for a chicken sandwich. I recommend calling before hand to place in order because it can take time depending on how many you order. The service is great, they always ask how many people will be enjoying there meal so they can put in utensils accordingly.

    FRIED CHICKEN FROM HEAVEN.

This place is goddamned amazing. It's small and the music is a little too loud but the chicken more than makes up for it. I ordered the chicken wrap and it was freaking amazing. LOOK AT THE PICTURE. Large strips of chicken breast (not tenders. actual chicken breast) in a piping hot flour tortilla. The spiciness had a kick but it wasn't overwhelming. It took sometime for me to get my meal but it was worth the wait. They cook their meals fresh on the spot. F*ck KFC. F*ck Popeyes.

By the time I remembered to take a picture, the damage had already been done. I've been to Golden K Burgers a few times now, and it has quietly become one of my favorite burger spots. It's a Korean-American burger joint with a cozy diner feel inside. Nothing overly flashy, just great vibes, a comfortable atmosphere, and a staff that always greets you with a warm smile that makes you feel welcome. Over the times I've been here, I've tried the Farmhouse Burger, Big Kahuna Burger, BBQ Chip Burger, and the A1 Burger. Honestly, they've all been excellent. But somehow... I keep coming back to the A1 Burger. Now I know what some of you are thinking. "A1 sauce? Really? There are so many better burger sauces than A1!" I actually agree! A1 has never been my first choice for burgers. But my goodness... whatever magic they're working here just works! The two juicy beef patties, perfectly marinated mushrooms and onions, melted Swiss cheese, tangy A1 sauce, and soft buttery brioche bun come together like a perfectly conducted symphony. Every ingredient has its role, and none of them overpower the others. The mushrooms bring an earthy richness, the onions add sweetness, the Swiss cheese gives it that creamy nuttiness, and then the A1 sauce swoops in with just enough boldness to wake up your palate without stealing the show. Funny enough, every topping on this burger (except the A1 sauce) is exactly what I'd normally choose for any burgers anyway, yet the A1 somehow becomes the finishing touch that ties everything together! Another thing I really appreciated was how well the burger was constructed. It held together beautifully from the first bite to the last without collapsing into a soggy mess. That's an underrated quality that deserves recognition. The fries were also fantastic because they weren't buried under a mountain of salt like so many places do. I actually found myself wondering if they'd fry them a second time upon request because I love my fries extra crispy. I guess I'll have to ask next time! I've also had their 12-piece Buffalo Wings before. I wouldn't say they're the best wings I've ever had, but they're definitely very good. They came out crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, marinated evenly with buffalo sauce (dry) that had just the right balance of buttery richness, tanginess, and heat. They were satisfying without being overly greasy. From the outside, Golden K Burgers probably doesn't scream, "This is one of NYC's best burger joints!" But trust me when I say this: you'll find yourself craving it again very soon. And to me, that's the highest compliment I can give any restaurant. There are plenty of places that impress you once. The truly great ones are the ones that make you want to come back! Give Golden K Burgers a try! Highly recommended!

I didn't recall ordering a double but that's what I got. lol This burger was really delicious but I could barely eat half of it. I would definitely order this burger again but maybe just a single burger next time. The sweet potato fries were such a treat! Such a delicious and satisfying meal!! They also have quite a few unique beverage options; non-alcoholic and alcoholic!! This is definitely not just a Coke and Pepsi kinda place! I tried their Velvet Llama Espresso Martini in a can, and it was really fantastic! Looking forward to a return visit to have some of their delicious wings, onion rings, many appetizers, sea burgers, chicken burgers, veggie burgers, breakfast sandwiches....omg the list goes on and on! Their backyard dining area is great for the warmer weather. Great music. Great service & hospitality. Great vibes all around!! Btw, I must mention their pricing. At first glance, you'd think their $20 burgers is wayyyyy too expensive. We walked into a simple, no-frills space with a practical layout designed for quick meals and takeout, the kind of place where the focus stays on the food rather than the surroundings. The dining room had a straightforward, functional energy with a steady flow of customers coming in for a quick bite, and the open kitchen gave us a view of the cooking process that added to the anticipation. The fried chicken is the highlight, featuring a crunchy, well-seasoned coating with juicy meat inside. We ordered a few items and found the spicy crispy chicken burger one of the most popular menu items, served on a soft bun with fresh toppings that balanced the crispy chicken well. The popcorn chicken, chicken tenders, wings, and the oversized Orleans roasted chicken leg were also worth exploring, each arriving hot and freshly made. Sides like mozzarella sticks, fries, grilled BBQ skewers, and corn rounded out the menu, and the house seasoning powders and dipping sauces added extra flavor that made each bite feel customizable. Everything is cooked to order, so there was a short wait, but the food arrived hot and freshly made, and the quality of the frying came through clearly across the different items we tried. The staff moved through orders with efficiency, and the food came out hot and well assembled. The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.
