So I got it to go and ate it at the food court. Prices are super reasonable. We got the popcorn chicken - 4/5 so yummy but even at the medium level spice it was way too spicy! But it was a good portion, crispy, great texture. beef skewers - 2.5/5 this was just ok. For some reason it didn't really taste like beef that much. chicken skewer - 5/5 really enjoyed this. A good medium spice heat! squid leg skewer - 2/5 yummy but this was THE SPICIEST thing at medium level. I couldn't eat it after the second bite. spicy chicken burger - 3/5 this is okay! The sauce is a little too sweet for my liking typhoon shelter chicken patty - 4/5 I like it! They were extremely generous with the portion! The garlic fried tempura-like flakes on top provided great texture. The sauce is good too, would've liked it even more if it were just a tad less sweet. Overall this place is a great addition to flushing. Service is standard, you can order from the kiosk. You can come here for a quick snack or a full meal. Small store with a few counter seating (with gloves, napkins and hand sanitizer, should you choose to eat in). You can order at the counter or 2 kiosks. I opted to order at the kiosk since there was someone at the counter. They also seem to mostly speak Mandarin, so I like the kiosk option. My order came out within 5 mins, even with the multiple orders ahead of me, and this is only a few minutes after they opened! They did call out the order number in Mandarin, so brush up on your numbers (though I'm sure they'll call it out in English or check with you if no one claims the order). Osmanthus Milk Tea (30% sugar, less ice) has a good osmanthus flavor. Good balance of milkiness, and not too sweet. The less ice option did indeed seem like less ice. My Spicy Chicken Burger was crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. I like the craggy bites of batter. Didn't have much of a kick though, maybe could ask for extra spicy next time. The chicken is balanced with a bit of lettuce greens, mayo and soft sesame burger buns. Overall a quick casual spot to hit. We will start with what I was disappointed with which was the spicy chicken steak and popcorn chicken. These items fell a little short with me and didn't have the feeling of freshly fried, tender chicken. It was definitely hot, however a little dry. The lemon teas were super sugary as well. I did not think to ask if I could lower the sugar level bug I would definitely recommend it. My boyfriend was unable to drink his and I had to dilute it in order to finish mine. Moving away from that, the chicken sandwich was great! I have never had a chicken sandwich made up of a boneless drumstick but wow was it tender! I would definitely be back for this sandwich since this is definitely one of my favorite chicken sandwich places now. Another item I tried was the chicken skewer. I wasn't too hungry so I only purchased one and I regretted it right away when I tried it at home. I love chicken skewers and I have to say I think this one is one of my favorites because it was so tender! After purchasing a lot of fried chicken, I also wanted to try their roasted chicken. This place is not worth the price. We bought 4 items. A small spicy friend chicken breast, it was not spicy at all and a kung fu leg. Why is a chicken drumstick $5.99 for ONE?? Then I got their French fries, you can't even taste the potatoes. All u can taste is the oil around the fries. Lastly was the popcorn chicken, it was mid. There was also a promotional free milk tea for one purchase of the chicken breast so the total was $23.37. The staff was not well trained before opening. They can't even give out proper change for cash payments. The menu is sorta of confusing, we grabbed a menu that said $5.99, instead they charged us $6.99 for the chicken breast. Since it was technically their fault, they gave us an extra free milk tea. New store just popped up close to main. It's next to a few new restaurants and a bunch of old working lady spas. I was enticed by the $9 fried chicken steak and lemon tea combo. I went in and decided I wasn't that thirsty, so I attempted to order a $5.99 spicy fried chicken steak but at checkout, it said I didn't hit the $10 minimum. So I went to the counter and paid cash. You have options for different levels of spiciness, and seasoning options like salt n pepper, cumin, plain, or plum. The plum caught my eye, I was so curious on how that would taste. It took about 10 minutes. It came out really hot and crispy! The plum seasoning was super interesting paired with the spicy seasoning. I liked the pairing but I can see those who do not like sweet n savory, hating this. I can imagine cumin would of been good but I had a bunch of skewers earlier and was cumin'd out .
