I was really excited to try this place after seeing their sign on 108st for several weeks. The owner of this place is really nice, and great with kids. My toddler likes her a lot and wants to play with her and visit every so often. The food across the board is delicious. I have pretty much tried everything here except a few of the appetizers and the pistol legs. The only item that I don't particularly like is the pumpkin pie, while it's tasty and has a nice texture I don't really taste any pumpkin. I hope this place stays open would really be a good staple and some added variety to the restaurants available in the few blocks of stores located in this section of 108 street. read more

I can't speak to the ambiance because this was a delivery order, but the first bite of the Popcorn Chicken had me stunned. It had the perfect kick and seasoning. The portion size was great for the price as well. The Super Chicken Chop was good, and I found the seasoning and flavor were similar to the chicken in the Paprika Sandwich. The flavor wasn't what I was expecting. I thought it would taste similar to the Popcorn Chicken, but the flavor grew on me. I also expected the chicken chops to be bigger, night market-style, but they were katsu-sized and not that small. The wings were on the smaller side but juicy. The mozzarella sticks were ooey gooey with a cheese pull. The fries had the perfect thickness, and something about them were addictive. The fries might be my favorite part of the order or closely tied with the Popcorn Chicken. The delivery order had a sticky note with a cute handwritten note from the staff. This is one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I got the regular, dark meat, non-spicy fried chicken sandwich and it's just so tasty. The mayo, bun, pickle, and lettuce all work so well together. The chicken is just the right level of moisture - not dry like some white meat sandwiches, but also not dripping. The bun is good quality but not bougie - it's a solid sesame seed bun that works well with the chicken. The French fries are also very good - better when you dine in versus take out, but the chicken sandwich did travel well (I've dined in and had take out.) The counter staff is friendly and helpful. The ambiance is of a takeout place that has seating. No restroom unless it's behind the counter. Does have high chairs. It isn't setup for groups larger than 4 or 5 (if you pull a chair to the end of a booth table.) Besides the fries I don't think they have any vegan options, and I didn't verify with the staff that the fries are actually vegan. I'm guessing they're fried in the same oil as the chicken, but I don't know. My partner is vegan, so it makes going here a little harder, but when she saw the look on my face eating the sandwich she said she'd take out of town people here for the sandwich. read more

Although I only stayed inside for a moment the staff was friendly as I picked up my order, and the place looks nice inside with some seating if you decide to stay in. Be aware that the location is about half way down 64th Road, almost to Yellowstone, so it's a bit off 108th Street. The chicken wings were good and had lots of flavor. The portion size of the chicken is so large it spills over the bun, making this sandwich a shareable snack or if you're super hungry-- just devour the whole thing! If you take out your meal, be sure to request sauce on the side (so your chicken stays crisp and the bun doesn't get soggy.) Papa chicken is new to the neighborhood and a welcome addition! Food is made fresh to order and the wife that takes the order is very nice. When she asked how we knew about them, and I mentioned Facebook, she honored the free side even though I didn't mention it. The chicken wings and pistol leg are my favorites. I like that they have pumpkin pie - it's like a pumpkin flavored fried mochi with red bean filling I do have to come back and try their whole chicken. They open late night so they're a good place to get freshly fried french fries if you are craving them. This place is so good, especially for the amount of food you get and the price is inexpensive. We had the spicy chicken and super chicken sandwich . Spicy one is good enough that you won't feel overwhelmed. Super chicken sandwich is big. Meat is moist and juicy , skin is crunchy and is not too salty.(unlike the popeye chicken - I have to drink 1 L of water after). They make it fresh when you order. We also had their regular fries and salty chicken which is pretty delicious too. They also give you gloves when you order chicken wings with them which is very nice of them. Fairly new restaurant to this area - and certainly hope it stays for a long time. The food here is delicious! We ordered a fried Whole Chicken (Paprika Roast) along with the Pistol Leg (Honey Roast). All the food appears to be made fresh, so nothing has been sitting for a while and dried out. The chicken is very juicy and tasty. The one thing that seems "odd" is the Pistol Leg is huge - almost the size of the Whole Chicken. I'm sure they use different chickens, hence the difference in size. I think the Paprika Roast can use a little bit more spice - so perhaps they can ask how spicy one might like it and adjust the spice level The one we tried was more on the mild side, so not very spicy at all. But I can see how spicy chicken fans would want more. The Pistol Leg was roasted nicely. Again, it was a very large leg and the flavor was great with a hint of sweetness. The fried chicken cutlet is very reminiscent of Taiwan popcorn chicken flavor; also, the chicken cutlet in the sandwich/burger was massive (like sticking out of the sandwich massive). I ordered from the wrong location for pick-up and the staff was super accommodating. They had one of their drivers bring my order to me. They could have canceled my order and not refunded me my money. But they made arrangements for the delivery. That was super awesome and worth the wait. My kids are foodies and loved the paprika chicken, nuggets and fries. The chicken was crunchy and juicy and so much flavor!! Wings are my thing and these were so good! The roast chicken sandwich was delicious, marinated in the sauce you would typically find on Chinese spare ribs; absolutely delicious! The paprika chicken wings actually have flavor in the meat vs the other places around here with flavor only on the outside. It does look like it's a 2 person operation but they try to work fast and are very nice. It's got a very nostalgic ambiance, similar to what you would see in episodes of Chicken Shop Date, which I love!
