I did a delivery of 2 sandwiches recently, and both arrived fresh and packed well. I got the "Aged…read moreto perfection" which was prosciutto, and the "US open fan favorite" which was roasted chicken breast. Both came with generous amounts of meat, not too saucy either which sometimes makes sandwiches soggy. I got the regular sub size which I ate half of. It can easier feed 2 people! I could have done without sundried tomatoes in the prosciutto sandwich but overall it was very delicious. I would get it again, or try a hot sandwich variant next time.

I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to get a sandwich from Stacked since I haven't had one in a while. I I walked in and waited to be greeted while the staff chatted and gazed at me for about 5ish minutes or so. Finally, I'm acknowledged and asked "what can I get for you". I saw they had a Thanksgiving sandwich called the "Gobbler". I asked how long they would have it as even though it's the November special, sometimes places might make it last through the holidays. When asked I was told "it will be available until whenever November ends". This whole interaction made me feel so unwelcome. It didn't look like there was much going on there in the relm of orders, but it still took them a while to make my sandwich. Finally they bring it to the front counter. Pack it in paper and a paper bag and I'm off. I didn't have much time to eat so I scarfed it down in my car before heading down Queens Blvd. It was very good. Not my favorite, but def has potential. I also feel like, though this is a nice sized sandwich, they were a bit stingy this time around. I would say the star was the stuffing. It just tied everything together. As you all know, I love a good sandwich shop. I wish this was as good as it once was to me. Not sure if I'll give it one more shot just yet.

Absolutely lives up to the hype!…read more The pastrami is insanely tender like melt in your mouth kind of good. The sandwich is definitely messy, but that's how you know it's done right when its packed and stacked with meat! Even with a line out the door, the guys behind the counter cutting the meat are friendly and keep things moving. They even hand out samples while you wait, which makes the whole experience feel welcoming (and honestly makes the wait easier).

The fries are steak fries, which I don't typically love but it worked well as a vehicle for the pastrami. The corned beef is a bit dry. We had some pierogies but these were superrrr oily. We also ordered a matzoh ball soup because I've never had it before. But the second I saw them microwave it in a plastic container, I knew I had made a mistake. It was basically just a matzoh ball in very salty chicken bouillon water. I'm sad that was my first matzoh ball soup experience but am not deterred from finding a real one elsewhere. Based on my previous visit and this one, it seems like you should just stick to a classic pastrami sandwich. It's big enough to share between two people. Next time, I'd like to dine in and eat it fresh. The sandwiches also come with a bunch of pickles, which was nice. Tip #1 - there is a parking lot but because there are so many stores and it's next to Bratek Deli, it's a nightmare. It did also happen to be Good Friday, so maybe that made it worse? I don't remember it being that bad the first time around. Tip #2 - I called ahead to place my order but still had to wait 15 minutes extra after the quoted time. They prioritize walk-in customers, so you might as well just order in store.

I like their sandwiches, but the bread is where it needs a huge upgrade. My most recent purchase was the Bon Jour, which had delicious thinly sliced ham, brie cheese, artichoke, and dijon mustard. However, for a sandwich named after the French, the bread is not befitting. If they can fix that problem, their rating would easily be 4 stars.

Entering the store, which is a long and a narrow yet fairly sun-lit location, the two employees seem flabbergasted. We placed an order online and I'm not sure if it's because it's the beginning of lunch time but they seemed disorganized. Then we finally got our sandwich and I said we'll eat right at the few spots by the window. Incredibly convenient. Asked if they could cut it in half since we wanted to try it fresh on the spot. One guy was friendly, the other was lukewarm. I had to explain, it's our first time ordering so will understand to clarify instructions in the online order to have it cut in half in the future. Besides the customer interaction, the sandwich is pretty good. Great crunch in the bread, ingredients are just enough (not like Stacked but good enough to fill you up). It's certainly a great option for sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Probably better to order online than in person as they can be busy just making sandwiches and not be able to tend to in-person interactions as quickly.

Located just on the outskirts of central LIC, it's a bit out of the way, but not hard to get to. They have some bar/window seating, but no tables. It's much more of a casual pick-up spot, if anything. Service was fairly quick. Their menu contains banh mi, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, and a variety of drinks (as well as baked goods in their displays). I got their grilled chicken and pork banh mi and my friend got their pork banh mi. Overall, it was better than I thought and not bad at all! The bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and super warm. They were generous with the portions and gave lots of veggies, which I loved (I wish their pickled carrots and radish were just a bit crunchier though). The marinade for the meats was also well done! I would note that they used American mayo (as opposed to Vietnamese mayo) for the banh mi, which was super noticeable to me. Overall, not a bad spot for Vietnamese banh mi in LIC.

I couldn't even finish half before feeling unwell and had to run to the bathroom. It also lacked flavor and wasn't spicy at all. The summer rolls were not authentic. They were filled mostly with lettuce and radish--no proper ingredients like traditional Vietnamese rolls should have. Charging $9 for a roll like that is not worth it. Overall, I won't be ordering again. Please improve the quality and authenticity.
