I was catching an early departure flight and decided to grab some food for a long day ahead. I bought a sandwich, a banana and a muffin for about $21, yeah expensive but they do offer good quality comparing to the other restaurants located inside the terminal. (Terminal 8). They do serve a lot of kosher items and also pastries, beverages and food to order. Like breakfast platters, sandwiches and salads. Although I found it a little expensive, I must admit the muffin was FANTASTIC and the sandwich was delicious. The pastries section is very expensive too. A cheesecake piece is overpriced about $8,50. Lots have change on the terminal and there aren't many choices available on the food court so my advice to you is arrive early and choose wisely.

I was working in the neighborhood while visiting this restaurant. The owner and the staff are really friendly and the food looks great and the price look within reasonable. Don't mind the single piece of salmon sushi since I mistake the name on the menu for something else but over the restaurant but the food is great and reasonable, next time I would order more sushi

Was craving sushi and decided to stop here.. Food: this place is unique. It's a Mediterranean restaurant BUT they serve pizza, Mediterranean food and NOW sushi! I know right?! I had the autumn roll (cooked sushi) and it was amazing! Fresh and the presentation was interesting. I love places that offer yummy sauces and both they served were yummy though the rolls barely needed it. Service: The owner greeted me when i walked in and asked what i was looking to order. I asked if they had sushi and he said sure. Took my order soon after i sat. Another waitress made sure my order had been taken. He gave recomendations on popular rolls. I took his advice on autumn roll and did not disappoint. The chef (i believe) came by and asked if i like my sushi. Everyone here is very friendly and attentive. When i was paying owner asked if it was my first time there when i said yes he granted me a free drink on the house. Very nice man! Price: $12 for signature rolls. Like all sushi the price varies but rolls all priced on par with other places. Ambiance: this feels like a pizza shop inside. Nothing fancy. It's a chill friendly environment but not many tables to sit at. I saw many ppl ordering for pick up or takeout. Overall i will be back to try other dishes! Great little spot for all types of food!

Didn't realize they sold pizza as well. When I stepped in for a pickup, I thought I was in the wrong restaurant. I ordered a "Salmon Lover" for lunch, and it came with a 6-piece salmon nigiri and 1 spicy salmon roll. It was a very large lunch portion, but it also cost $16, so I supposed it is worth what it cost. The fish was fresh. A few bites of the rice were hard. The spicy salmon roll wasn't really spicy.

This place really does try, but it has a bit of an identity crisis. Is it a pizza joint? Is it a Middle Eastern Restaurant? Is it a sushi spot? Somehow, it tries to be all three, which is a bit scattered and confusing. Service isn't great. Went for dinner; no utensils on the table, until I requested them myself. Also wasn't offered water, even after my food had come out. When I finally asked for water with ice, they brought me... GET THIS... a cup of water, alongside a bowl of ice with a spoon with it (?!). I mean, not a big deal, but just a bit too literal and kind of strange. Had to scoop individual ice cubes into my glass with a small spoon, which felt a bit silly. The vibe in the restaurant was weird. One of the staffers was hanging out with a table of what appeared to be his friends. Kind of felt like I was imposing on a dinner party that I hadn't been invited to. The food: I ordered the Avocado Spinach Salad, and added salmon. It was pretty decent, and the salmon was flavorful and tender. The salad itself was a nice combination of fresh vegetables, but their "house-made dressing" just felt like a ramekin of straight oil with no flavor. I asked for fresh lemon slices, so that helped. I doubt I would dine-in here again, but since I'm in the area often enough, I might stop by for takeout, especially since they're open a little later. If I'm looking for sushi, I'll forego this place and just order from one of the nearby Japanese restaurants that actually specializes in sushi. But I might grab a slice of pizza, or one of their Mediterranean offerings, as takeout. All in all this place was so-so, with lackluster service - but since my entree was decent, it gets 3 stars.

A surprise stop that turned to be an excellent choice. First and foremost do not expect table cloth service but you can expect fresh ingredients and superb service from Eden. The pizza is thin crust and well topped. The falafel is one of the best we had in a long time, crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. Highly recommended.

This spot has a HUGE menu which is nice for variety and being kosher. Food is average though. I can comment on the salads: halloumi beef salad, spinach salad with avocado and salmon. They are very heavy on the base lettuce and spinach. Not much on the other fillers. The salad portion is huge but still won't fill you up due to this. The halloumi was a bit underwhelming just grilled no taste.

When you open your pizza box - your face should light up with delight .... Shocked about the raving reviews... $31.00 for a large pie and fries ... where's the sauce??? and the cheese looks like it's falling off the slice ... maybe the dough was rolled too thin? Please practice making better pies & fries. The fries were dry and practically inedible.... this is something that I can make perfect at home.. how can you mess up fries? Your prices should match the art of a perfect pizza. This was a 4/5 out of a 10. The upside is it arrived in 30 minutes.

    Ask the Community - Mezze

    Is all the food Halal?

Hey, the Restaraunt isn't officially halal (to my knowledge), just kosher. also they dont serve meat so there's no zabiha requirement. In short, they arent Certified" halal" but it's permissible to eat.

    Is there delivery?

Yes they deliver within the neighborhood. I don't believe they are part of any food delivery services right now, so you will need to call them and place your order.

Do you have an Israeli type hot sauce?

They have the best schug (Israeli hot sauce) both the green and red one.

This was one of the best new pizzerias in NYC, opening to great accolades from various publications. Being a poor kid in Junior High School working for a mere $3.75/hr across the street at the corner Baskin Robins (RIP) did not give me the opportunity for quite some time. Anyway, fast forward 5 years and I finally had the chance with a few friends to experience what many called the best pizza in Queens, and I was very impressed. This became my regular "fancy" pizza shop of choice. What I loved most about it was the crispy and charred thin crust. It adds so much to the overall taste and enjoyment. The sauce was deliciously tangy and the fresh mozzarella made it a level above everything else in the neighborhood. One word of warning, the pizza could get a little soggy in the center if too many toppings are ordered. I usually choose none or no more than two. Also noteworthy is their yummy calzones. My personal favorite combination is sausage and spinach. Mixed with all that oozing ricotta and dipped in some tomato sauce, that is one great bite. Lastly, I like most of their salads too. Their food has been a staple in my diet for most of my adult life. Decades go by, and out of nowhere, I hear the news that Nick's had burned down. What a loss for our community! What a loss personally! Thankfully, they are back and feeling every bit like the original. Food is as good as before, while the decor and service has always been on point. Though not my favorite pizza in NYC, or even Queens, it does hold a spot in my rotation.

Been going to Nicks for years, before and after their renovation. The must get here are the large pies with any favorite topping. As the toppings are all fresh high quality ingredients. We love the sausage, meatball, mushroom, and spinach pie. Crisp chewy crust with a nice char. It's great that it isn't soggy with the spinach as other places have failed at. You can't go wrong with the pies here they are wonderful and deliscious. End the meal with a cannoli as the pistachio and filling make for a nice cannoli with a shell that reminds us of a ice cream cone. Nicks a place i'll go to again and again with wonderful folks working there.

I didn't see prices for slices (but maybe native NY'ers know you can order by the slice I saw a lot of people with slices only) so we ordered a whole "pie". They were very nice about letting us order something off menu (pepperoni and mushroom) and half sautéed veggies. You order at the counter and then wait for the pizza to be brought to you. It's a chill place with a couple of tables. The pizza was piping hot and I didn't even know I burned the roof of my mouth until after I was satiated from the pizza! The cheese pull on the pepperoni mushroom was great. The cheese was obviously fresh cuz of the pull without having to load on tons of cheese . It was very well balanced. The red sauce was sweet (is this a NY thing?) but I didn't mind it. If you want a pizza with great cheese pull. Go here! But you have to eat it while it's HOT. The sautéed veggies pizza was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly cuz I am not a veggie fan in general but it was good enough for me to enjoy eating the entire slice! Great pizza! Next time I want to try the grandma slice to see what the difference is from a regular slice.

For appetizers, we ordered the fried calamari and the baked clams. I absolutely love their baked clams -- I don't eat them from anywhere else. What I appreciate most is that their clams don't have that strong "ocean" taste; they're seasoned perfectly. Their sangria is also the BEST. I had the white sangria, which was delicious, and my husband and dad ordered the red, which they really enjoyed. For the main entrées, I had the shrimp scampi, my husband had the penne alla vodka, and my dad ordered spaghetti with garlic and oil with a side of broccoli. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The vodka sauce was creamy and tasted homemade. My daughter ordered a personal pan pepperoni pizza and loved it. The service was excellent--our server was really polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and checked on us often. I also love the atmosphere: when you walk in, it feels like a classic pizzeria, but once you head to the back, it transforms into a cozy fine-dining space. The lighting is perfect, and the music is just the right volume. The last time I visited was over four years ago, and I'm happy to say the food and drinks still taste just as good as I remembered.
