For me, this is a good but not great pizza place. First, I'll mention the positives. This place recently opened, so it is super clean and modern, with a decent amount of seating. Their menu is also more extensive than other pizza places, with burgers, several pasta dishes, salads, wings, and sandwiches. However, if we are just talking only about the pizza, there is better out there. While the pizza was very fresh, the slices are not that big and flavor was just average. In this neighborhood, I prefer Champion Pizza which has bigger and juicier slices and a better selection of toppings.

3.5 Newly-opened pizzeria so decided to order for pick-up. Got 2 personal pan specialty pizzas: Chicken ranch was good for my sons, not as salty maybe bec less ranch dressing. The Supreme is not loaded with toppings like from other places; had a few pieces of sliced sausages (which I like over ground sausage), pepperonis, veggies but still tasty. @$16. The thin crust is crispy, maybe some will find it drier than other pizzerias, although we didn't mind it. The medium buffalo wings had the right heat, with a choice of dressing/dip (got blue cheese). It had a lot of batter which got soggy during the trip home so not as good for us. A calzone ($8) with 1 topping is $10. There is a gentleman there who was very welcoming. I know the place is new but when I asked how much my bill was if paying in cash, I got 3 different amounts (maybe it shows them the credit card amount, which has addtl fee). The final amount was the lowest so it was fine. There were at least 4 tables and bar stool-seating by the windows. Clean and modern decor. Some combo deals are on the printed menu, which they ran out of but I saw online.

Extremely glad there's finally a good pizzeria within a couple blocks of me! Walked in around 7pm and most slices were sold out but they are willing to make it for you if you want to wait. I was just hungry so I didn't bother waiting this time. Abundance of variety! You're able to order salads, heroes, pizzas, beef patty, calzone.. the usual pizzeria menu items! Pizza tastes great - definitely brick oven style which we love. Not a lot of seating but you can still sit/stand to eat before you leave. Chill vibes!

Ordered a few slices for dinner got two pineapple and jalapeño slices two vodka pasta slices and one pepperoni slice to share with the family. Everything was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be here again to try out their wings! Super friendly service as well

Pretty nice spot. A little too far out from Queens Blvd to be noticed but it's worth the trip there. The inside of the place feels so fresh and clean, along with a neon sign near the entrance to add some color to the establishment. A bevy of pizza choices are the first thing you see when you enter the spot and the slices are a little wider than the usual so you get your fill here. I had a BBQ chicken slice as well as a pepperoni and bacon slice and both slices hit the spot as well as the taste buds. Another good place with equally good and courteous service, they were interested in my feedback of the food and I gave them a thumbs up. I dig the enthusiasm and the vibe this place offers. Take the time to get here, it's worth it.

I've been a few times Rego Slice has really good slices for a decent price. I see what they say about it the crust being pale but it's not bad! The spinach roll was great, the eggplant parm is good, but my all time favorite slice is the white spinach slice. The service is quick and they're always accommodating as best they can.

    Half-eaten slices - pretty good!

The whole setup just depresses the hell out of me, honestly. They've got these fancy looking square pizzas that look like they're gonna get framed and displyed at the Museum of Modern Food like some kind of art or something. I've eaten the one that is loaded with folds of prosciutto and cheese, is it the Angel and the Devil? I think it is and the other one ive scarfed down is covered in pepperoni and melted cheese, its more traditional in the basic ingredients I prefer from the circle pies. The two I've eaten were quite good. I mean, you cant walk right in and order a slice to go even if you're starving, you must order the whole kahuna. But some people act like getting pizza in this place like this makes them bloody sophisticated, but were all under the same glistening lights above. The guy to my left had some kind of tagliatelle with meat sauce and grated cheese, it was sitting in a patterned bowl which i kept looking back at and admiring. I liked the way it looked upon the wooden table below. You order off these sleek paper menus laid out for you, its the main menu and there is a separate Drinks Menu with cocktails, and a wine list and beers. It's a lot of work for me, you know. making me read through a whole booklet just to decide what kind of booze that I want to drink with my meal, I can be occasionally lazy regardingsuch matters. Inside, the dining room is all warm lighting and exposed wood, with people sitting at tables reading their menus, eatingvand drinking and trying to have a grand, important evening out. Look, the food tastes fine, pizza and pasta are hard to mess up, but it's not the life changing culinary event that Metropolitan has needed for quite some time.

I felt slightly intimidated from the look of the place on the outside because it would seem like a middle class to upper class Restaurant but inside, it does look very nice but the setting is very much casual for its basically an upscale Pizzeria. However I didn't have pizza in mind, I went for something bigger and that would be the Chicken Parmigiana along with Root Beer which tallied up to $32 so not too bad. I contemplated about getting Dessert but I ultimately forgone it, which was a good decision in the long run because the chicken parm order was surprisingly hefty. I've gotten used to smaller portions being served in restaurants nowadays and I was expecting I'm gonna be hungry later eventually, but I sure was proven wrong. That meal filled me up proper, a little too proper because I felt absolutely stuffed after eating it all. I'm not one to complain about a good problem. Sure I felt uncomfortable, bloated and sluggish after eating that meal but I will take that any day in the week over feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled because if you're gonna spend $30+ on a meal, you SHOULD get your money's worth and that was a meal I could very well split with two and felt very fine with that. So props to PC for a gut busting meal, for the price I paid for lunch, I should feel like I'm going to spontaneously combust, better that than still feeling empty. That was an amazing meal that I'm STILL feeling the effects of as I write this review going on 8 PM on the same day I ate there at 12:30 PM. The vibe is also solid too, the workers are friendly and service was pretty swift. Took less than 6 minutes for my meal to find my table.

Food wise, how can you go wrong with great ingredients and good classic cooking? I was eating kosher for passover this time. I had the Branzino al forno. A whole grilled fish with potatoes and salad. It was incredible. Perfectly charred, meaty and delicious. The fish was so flavorful. The salad with the lemon on it was the perfect accompaniment. Will definitely get this again. I have also tried pasta here in the past. So good, you can tell its homemade. Salads are large and always good. Everyone should try this place.

Both items came out together like we asked and was far too much food for two. My first bite of the pizza was hot, crunchy, and delicious. I love fresh oven pizzas with a crispy bottom crust. The chefs did an amazing job cooking it just right. I also loved the fresh mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. It really elevated the pizza to another level. The crust was great all around with a slight oven char. Lastly the calzone took me by surprise as it had no sauce and was filled with ricotta cheese as opposed to mozzarella. It came with a small cup of hot marinara sauce for dipping/pouring. It was definitely an interesting calzone but don't think it was worth the price. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and Nick's and would highly recommend it. I do wish the pricing was a bit more fair when it came to full vs half pie toppings as well as the calzone.

My friend has a newborn and we were trying to find restaurants in the area that would be stroller-friendly (which actually isn't an easy task, to my surprise) and finally landed on Nick's because we had gone there together when it reopened. And it always seems very family and kid-friendly. We definitely went to the right place. I'm not a parent and I've never pushed a stroller without some bumps here and there, and I was so worried about helping get the stroller through the 2 doors. One of his staff saw us from the inside and immediately came out to help as soon as we reached for the door. Nick's paternal instincts definitely came into full effect because he looked out for us and wanted to give us the best seats so that we can have the stroller beside us. The pizza is excellent and I absolutely would come here over again and again, but the warm service from Nick himself and his staff is what truly makes this place so special in the community for so long. I didn't get a chance to come here during those formative years before the fire but when the restaurant finally reopened last year, it was incredibly sad to hear Nick explain how the fire and rebuilding devastated him and the business for over 2 years.
