This place is practically next door to one of the Retro Fitness areas I go to so I was contemplating going to this place, eventually I did so on a day when I had to get a physical checkup so I basically came to the place on an empty stomach. I felt slightly intimidated from the look of the place on the outside because it would seem like a middle class to upper class Restaurant but inside, it does look very nice but the setting is very much casual for its basically an upscale Pizzeria. However I didn't have pizza in mind, I went for something bigger and that would be the Chicken Parmigiana along with Root Beer which tallied up to $32 so not too bad. I contemplated about getting Dessert but I ultimately forgone it, which was a good decision in the long run because the chicken parm order was surprisingly hefty. I've gotten used to smaller portions being served in restaurants nowadays and I was expecting I'm gonna be hungry later eventually, but I sure was proven wrong. That meal filled me up proper, a little too proper because I felt absolutely stuffed after eating it all. I'm not one to complain about a good problem. Sure I felt uncomfortable, bloated and sluggish after eating that meal but I will take that any day in the week over feeling unsatisfied and unfulfilled because if you're gonna spend $30+ on a meal, you SHOULD get your money's worth and that was a meal I could very well split with two and felt very fine with that. So props to PC for a gut busting meal, for the price I paid for lunch, I should feel like I'm going to spontaneously combust, better that than still feeling empty. That was an amazing meal that I'm STILL feeling the effects of as I write this review going on 8 PM on the same day I ate there at 12:30 PM. This was my second time at this spot and I have to say I was underwhelmed again. The food is just fine. My partner's lamb ragu felt more like a lamb stew with over-seasoned lamb. The chicken parm was okay; but the side of pasta wasn't great. The sauce tasted so sweet. The spicy calamari was pretty good. The pork chop was very over sauced and filled with dried cranberries which I found a bit odd. The restaurant itself was very busy. The ambiance was bustling. The service was not solid. My niece waited about 15 mins into us all getting our food for her slice of pizza to arrive. It was so hard to grab our servers attention. All in all the food is okay. Me, my husband, and my daughter took my dad here for his birthday, and it was such a great choice. I picked this restaurant because the food has always been amazing, and every time I've been here they've never disappointed. For appetizers, we ordered the fried calamari and the baked clams. I absolutely love their baked clams -- I don't eat them from anywhere else. What I appreciate most is that their clams don't have that strong "ocean" taste; they're seasoned perfectly. Their sangria is also the BEST. I had the white sangria, which was delicious, and my husband and dad ordered the red, which they really enjoyed. For the main entrées, I had the shrimp scampi, my husband had the penne alla vodka, and my dad ordered spaghetti with garlic and oil with a side of broccoli. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The vodka sauce was creamy and tasted homemade. My daughter ordered a personal pan pepperoni pizza and loved it. The service was excellent--our server was really polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and checked on us often. I also love the atmosphere: when you walk in, it feels like a classic pizzeria, but once you head to the back, it transforms into a cozy fine-dining space. Been here countless times, I can't believe I've never posted. Now this is more of a thank you to Pizza Classica for hosting so many memorable events for my family throughout the years. It all started with my friend recommending this place for my family because it has a parking lot and can accommodate my family anytime (we range from 10-20 people depending on the occasion). I've also met friends here and picked up takeout many times. The menu is impressive and well-priced. Where else can you get black linguini with lumb crab meat, baby scallops and shrimp for $25?! And that's not just a special item, it's on their permanent menu. They serve the whole shebang from appetizer to dessert and everything in between. Stuffed mushrooms were on the salty side. Had the Pasta Pescatore - seafood in a spicy marinara sauce. Liked the seafood but the linguini was not al dente anymore. I used to really love Pizza Classica, but unfortunately, the quality and service have gone downhill. I recently ordered two mini pizzas (one chicken Caesar salad pizza and one veggie) and for a delivery just a short distance away, I expected it to take maybe 45 minutes. Instead, it took nearly two hours. When the food finally arrived, the pizzas were a mess, and the presentation was sloppy. On top of that, their prices have gone up noticeably. If they're going to charge more, they need to improve their delivery times -especially for nearby orders- and make sure there's a decent amount of chicken on what's supposed to be a chicken Caesar salad pizza. The employee who answered told us to bring the pizza back so they could just add pepperoni on top and reheat the same pizza, which already didn't feel like the right solution. After the young girl could not solve the issue , we spoke to the manager to explain the situation. We also mentioned that we're regular customers. His response was that he "didn't care" because he had a lot of customers. That level of customer service was honestly more disappointing than the mistake itself. We split the eggplant and margherita pizzas - the eggplant was delicious, although a little wet from the ricotta - draining it off first would have prevented some sogginess. So I would definitely come back to this place . The pizza was a perfect as it could have been. The sauce flavor , the amount of toppings , the minimal orange grease dripping which is fully fine with me when coming of the pizza , the crust was as perfect as I ever had I think. It cracked where I was bending it not like other places the crust breaks and take the whole slice apart with it . Some pizza are a hit or miss out there . I have been driving by this place since 2016 and have never thought to try it but glad my son and I did. The services was fast and food as well. The only reason why I gave it a 4 stars is because the menu said 2$ for the toppings per half pie but they charged us $3 and 4$ depending on the topping . Which didn't reflect on the menu properly. First I have to say.. The service SUCKS!!!! Oh and thanks mainly to the manager Marlon who unfortunately was our server if you can even call him that! My husband and I sat at one table and our daughter and her 3 friends sat at another near by. The first waiter, who approached us was named Ben he was very nice. He took our drink order , and then, after that, I never saw him again at least not at our table. Then another guy comes up to take our order "Marlin" When he came up to ask us our order, I had some questions because I'm a vegetarian. One was about their stuffed artichokes and if it had chicken broth and he said yes, everything has chicken broth on the menu except the salads. Really?! he then went on to mumble how they don't have to put chicken broth in it if you don't want. well, thank goodness that I asked, because why doesn't it say anywhere that there's chicken broth in all of their dishes? I ordered the Caprese salad it's Fresh Mozzarella with tomato and basil. I asked for a side of avocado and olive oil, and lemon on the side. He the scolds me that it doesn't come with dressing. Again, I said olive oil, and lemon on the side. What I received was .. Peppers, Olives, a small piece of lettuce, thinly sliced tomatoes and about 8 small mozzarella balls. No oil no lemon but a lemon oil dressing when I asked where the lemon and oil was, he said that's it and pointed to the lemon dressing. A busboy was kind enough to bring lemons. But this was supposed to be my appetizer and instead, it was served as something for my husband and I to share. What they served me was NOT what I ordered. They also didn't ask if we were going to be sharing the Caprese salad. They just assumed that it was going to be shared. I also ordered a margarita pizza with extra cheese . My opinion lots of Extra Bread And not cheese. The first waiter Ben gave us water because we weren't ready to order drinks. We were never ask again for a drink water, and my husband wanted wine, but nobody ever came back to ask us if we would like to order drink so water was it. matter of fact, nobody ever came back to the table again to ask us how the service was or how the food was or even refill those water glasses.! My husband's chicken Parmesan and salad came at the same time instead of his salad coming in my Caprese so we could eat our appetizers first. So my husband eats his entree and appetizer at the same time. We had to ask for more bread, because the one kid took our bread away thinking we're finished eating. I ordered a Coca-Cola and the glass had lipstick on it. The manager/ waiter Marlon treated us like we owed him money or kicked his dog We were pretty confused on the bad attitude he had. When I asked him questions, he was short and rude with me. I don't care if the place was busy you should never treat customers like that. They also add 3% service fee on all CC. So I was charged 6% on 2 bills. Was the food good? Yeah, it was good My husband liked his dinner . So here's the breakdown of this experience that ruined the rest of my evening. Cons: *ZERO greeting from the hostess, but not surprised. * Marlon, the rude, unprofessional waiter manager, with a despicably bad attitude! * dirty water glass * no one ever approached the table for a drink order after water. * And since we were only drinking water, they never even filled the water glass. * no one ever approached the table to see how the meal was. EVER! * assuming that we were sharing a Caprese salad when it was actually my appetizer and my husbands salad was never served at all, except with his meal. Why wouldn't you ask? Are you sharing or is this going to be your appetizer or your main course? A Server should never assume. * receiving peppers and olives in my salad when I was supposed to get mozzarella, tomato and basil and a side order of avocado. When I asked the server, Marlon, if I was supposed to get peppers in this he abruptly, in a rude tone, said yes, I looked at the menu and the answer is actually NO!. The only thing they got right was the mozzarella and tomato. I never even got the basil. * Being shamed for asking for olive oil and lemon. And instead got some lemon oil dressing. * When clearing the plates of the Caprese salad, the bus boy also took our bread because he thought we were completely done with our meal and our bread was also supposed to be for our main course. we had to ask for another basket of bread. * 3% surcharge per credit card for our food and my daughters. *Dirty Bathroom PROS: * Good Caprese salad minus the peppers * my husband liked his Parmesan and salad. This is probably the worst service I've ever received in any restaurant ! The food is not good enough to come here and be treated like shit and have literally every single thing go wrong ! I came here for a birthday party. They had a tent set up. The waiters serving at the party were attentive and friendly. They joked with some of guests and were accommodating. (One of the guests broke a wine glass and they immediately took care of it.) When the guest asked for something it arrived quickly. The food was varied and plentiful: Tomato and mozzarella- first course. There wasn't much flavor. You tasted a little basil but otherwise bland. Salad- second course that came out. The dressing was a little sweet but not bad. Non offensive salad made of various greens, roasted bell peppers, and some croutons Fried Calamari- this was delicious. Fried crispy and tender. I couldn't stop eating it. Rolled eggplant with ricotta cheese- this was unique. I've never had this before. The creamy ricotta worked with the tangy tomato sauce and the breaded eggplant tied it all together. Stuffed mushrooms- it was a typical stuffed mushroom. I like mushrooms so I can't complain. Shrimp- the breaded shrimp was a little over cooked but crispy. Clams- the breading on top hid any flavor of the clams. We had a choice of 6 entrees. I got the veal with asparagus. When it came out, the asparagus was cut up so you couldn't even see it. There was more artichoke than asparagus. It was fine nothing to write home about. There was unlimited bread which my table mate kept eating so it was probably very good. The canola for dessert looked good. They also offered coffee, cappuccino, or tea. My own thoughts, I had come here when they first opened and wasn't really impressed with the pizza I had. It tasted like a generic NY grease pizza. I was surprised to see all the great reviews. After the party I can see how both the good and negative reviews can be true. The food ranged from great to mediocre. The service in the party venue was good but when I went to use the bathroom the person I asked was a little curt. I guess it all depends on when you go and the luck of the draw. One of our favorite family venues for dine in, take out and catering. Haven't been here For a while. Still as delicious as always. My husband says this is one of the best places for calamari. Even beats out the places near the beach. The only issue we had was with the seafood pasta. It had a horrible stench. Probably from one of the mussels going bad. We didn't say anything though. Continues to be my favorite Italian restaurant. Wanted some pasta instead of pizza so went for the sit down option instead of taking out. We ordered the fried calamari for appetizer and it was so good. They were nicely fried and so tender and not gummy! The sauce were just the way we like them- a little bit on the sweeter side. Entrees were ethe veal parmigiana, gnocchi and eggplant with penne. All made to perfection. It's got a nice crispy crust, nit too doughy, and the most amazing tasting, garlicky tomato sauce. I rarely drive by without getting a slice. Furthermore, it's been a tradition at our Super Bowl parties forever. With that said, I am not a fan of their regular pizzas. The dough feels simply too thick and doughy. However, rest of their menu food are pretty good. Crab and Avocado Salad is delicious. Also, some of the pastas are made fresh in house, so try the Fettuccine with Lamb Ragu.
