Luigi's is a really great spot to satisfy your carb craving! The plain slice of pizza is traditional in what one would seek from a plain slice: perfect sauce to cheese ratio, thin and crispy with a fantastically crunchy crust. The Grandma slice I have now had twice, and while it was good, the first time was nothing compared to what I was served yesterday. The shape and optics are completely different. The chicken roll was very nicely seasoned and the chicken chopped nicely and very tender. The sauce was one I admired because it isn't overly sweet but far from too acidic as well; it's the Goldilocks of tomato sauce. The Meat Lover's slice was literally heavenly. The dough is so light and airy yet has such a delightful crunch, especially when you get the corner slice. The Grandma's slice had a nice amount of basil without it being overbearing and the shredded parm and mozzarella elevated it, for sure. My coworker and I went in here for a quick meal on the way to the school down the street for a mentorship program we're presenting on. Skeptical when we opened the bag, but they delivered a solid experience. The plain was fresh, good crust, good amount of quality cheese. The margarita was pretty exceptional as the sauce tasted a bit sweeter and loved the fresh mozz and basil. My only complaint was that $7.25 for the two which seems a bit expensive and I ponder if students these days can afford that. read more

Ok I decided to come review this pizzeria because today I ordered a large pie half cheese half pepperoni and when I opened the pie the slices are so itty bitty I had company over and even my company was like wtf? Why are these slices so small. It was embarrassing and my friends were left still hungry. I really love the taste of this pizzeria and I am a returning customer but I have noticed the slices in a pie are getting smaller and smaller. However when you go into the store and order a slice here and there they are regular sized. Is this a tactic you are using to save dough literally and figuratively? Luigi's please start making the pies an actual large size again. For a pie that's $22 I want my $$$ worth. I literally felt like I was serving pizza at a children's party. read more

The pizza that we ordered were very good.. freshly baked and fresh ingredients. The bread was cooked perfectly, soft inside and crunchy on the bottom. My family loved it. The place is decent for dive in since they have a lot of spot for dine in, servers are nice. Price is a little pricey for a square slice. but other than that we'll come back again to try other flavor. read more

I love Luigi's. No frills, nothing fancy, just good old pizza. Their sauce is DELICIOUS, so even their plain slices taste incredible. My favorite however, are their Buffalo slices. They're the size of my forearm, first of all, and just the right amount of spice from the Buffalo. I always order a slice with garlic knots which deserve an honorable mention! read more

With immense struggle from abject pain due to recent major surgery, I make the trek to Luigi's Pizza for lunch of either pasta or an entrée. I did not want pizza. Cheese Ravioli $8.00 was swimming in too much Marinara sauce. The Ravioli is huge therefore the quantity is about six pieces. I prefer smaller pieces and larger quantity on my plate. Fresh and served piping hot with Italian bread. Portion was rather small. I was eyeing the entrée platters and other pasta on their wall menu. The Chicken Marsala was extremely enticing to my stomach but unfortunately not to my budget as it was $12.50. I would like to return for it though. Staff is fluent in Spanish and English. Oddly the Italian language is not present despite of the business name clearly emit Italian. A local pizzeria with traditional old fashioned pizzeria booths. Recent renovations of both interior and façade has clean-up the poor physical presentation. Note: CASH ONLY. No credit or debit cards accepted in any shape, color or format. read more

Love this pizzeria! However, this was the first time we had an issue with our order. We had placed it over the phone, but whoever took the order never put it in. After waiting an hr we called and they felt so bad they included complimentary Garlic Knots & Zeppoles. Nothing but the best customer service here! Mistakes happen but they definitely made up for it. read more

Awesome pizza here, Grandma pie is outrageous!! Friday nights I hang out at my family's house and one week its pizza, another week we order heroes from here, meatball, chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, garlic knots, calzones. Just awesome. Easily spotted from Atlantic Ave, the Luigi name spurred a memory. Something to the effect that the regular slices of pizza were very good, and they were. Sweet sauce and quality mozzarella cheese, well balanced and in harmony on top of a sturdy thin crust. Slices priced exactly as I had been expecting walking in, but it was early and my presence wasn't well received. Lots of grunting and groaning fur a simple slice, grated Parmesan really gave the counter man the blues. He slid my slice at me with a hint of aggressive aggression, me late wrist twist of skill to throw me off, add a steely glare and i was on my way out. Too bad, the pizza was quite enjoyable. read more

Very horrible customer service. You can't ask them any regular questions because they will give u sarcastic answers in a nasty way, even during the covid-19 pandemic. I have been coming here for three years because I used to work right by them. I love it so much! I usually always get their grilled chicken salad. Ah best thing ever !! I love love love it. The small is $8 and the large is $9. I totally recommend it. It is so worth it. Their house dressing is what makes it so yummy. The salad is always so fresh. Love it! This is a great little pizza place. I took my younger cousins here once and they've been hooked ever since. The bottom crust is nice and crispy, the topping selection is great and the quality is a noticeable notch above everything else in the area. Definitely give it a try if you're in the neighborhood. read more

This is a really great specialty pizzeria. When ever I'm in the area I will try a new slice. I've almost had everyone they make. Not too salty, not too doughy, not too sweet. This places is great! They make salads as well, check out their menu. This place is a must try if you like pizza read more

We've ordered their pizza and it's very good!! We just had their Philly cheese steak and Buffalo chicken roll. Both arrived PIPING hot made fresh. Philly cheese steak was juicy and cheesy and the Buffalo chicken roll was delicious. Food arrived promptly via delivery guy on a scooter. Would recommend this place! read more

This place used to be good, but not so much anymore. Came in here a few months ago while it was still winter, to kill time while my clothes dried up the block, grab a regular slice and get warm. The pizza tasted like nothing. It's funny because just last year it was great. This is my second time in 2019 however getting bland slices from them. Also the staff is very slow to take your order if you look a certain way. I noticed a lot of the reviewers look similar to them so no shock seeing these rave reviews. Most food in Richmond Hill is garbage and seeing as the clientele knows no better, mediocre eateries continue to strive. Guess the cheaper rent is the trade off....but I digress. read more

They say that you tend to love the pizza that you grew up with. This might be the case for me, but I'm more than a fan of this pizzeria. It used to be called Bella Rosa when I was growing up, and management changed over five years ago. But their selection has grown to the point where there's something for everybody. Every pizzeria has garlic knots or pepperoni rolls, but this place takes it a step further with its spinach twists. At about a foot long, these thin crispy chewy sticks of goodness offer you more veggies than you're used to getting at a pizzeria. Along with marinara sauce for dipping, these make a great snack. The pizza itself is probably slightly above average, some of the best in my opinion (but I'm biased because this is what I'm used to). I love the beef patties with mozzarella cheese too. Their pasta selection is pretty decent and quite tasty as well. They also have a great sandwich selection as well as a kickass chicken panini which is really grilled chicken breast on an over-sized garlic knot. This place is great for a quick bite. So stop by and try a spinach twist! read more

Good food my favorate is penevodka and chicken parmigiana. For the most part food is good. It can get crowed after school not a good time to go. Cons ok the bathroom they need to keep it clean. Also in the summer they don't like puttimg the ac. Nor do they accept credit cards. read more

*CASH ONLY* The staff here can sometimes be A$$holes, but the pizza is good!! Some of the best in the entire Ozone park area. I can say this because I've lived here for 15+ yrs and tried multiple pizza spots in the area. I do sometimes find their kitchen and hygiene questionable (they touch the pizza and money with no gloves and same hands). Timing is essential if you go, with both the high school and park nearby, there's A LOT of rowdy HS kids. Ugh. Try there plain slice, chicken roll, or chicken sandwich. read more

I love this place for delivery, they are awesome, I love their Grandma pizza, it's the best and as always they deliver the food very fast and warm plus very fresh. They have very nice band helpful staff and very efficient, I also love their garlic knots it's the best! I prefer to do delivery on this place, the only thing that I don't like in this place is their ambiance other than that they rock. When the guys deliver my favorite pizza which is the grandma pizza, it's always very tasty and crunchy and so fresh. Love this place when I don't feel like eating out. read more

So basic outside, so wonderful inside. I was never addicted zeppolis before (I'm not Italian) but GOOD GOD, WOW. I've daydreamed about giving batches of them to people. I've made more than 1 trip here in a day just to check if they have fresh ones. When the place opens at 11am & the zeppolis are not made yet, I actually get sad. Pros: Cheap & Tasty Cons: Rude My boyfriend asked for a menu and the worker rudely stated "I can't give you, you have to look on the wall for the menu, menus are only for delivery." What kind of business is this? There's a whole family that wanted to order. Was he supposed to bring my whole family in the restaurant to see the menu on the wall? Lol it's quite funny. It's a bit too greasy for my taste, but I do like that the crust is not too doughy and the ingredients are delicious. Luigi's has been there as long as I can remember. I am glad that it is still there and doing well. My daughter and I always joke that the grandma pizza is made of someone's grandma. She used to laugh, now she just rolls her eyes at me. You surprised me Luigi's. I grew up in this neighborhood and I remember this place with a different name. The pizza was blah nothing to write home about. Fast forward to now and I had the opportunity to try this place under the worst of circumstances. My car broke down right off the Jackie Robinson Parkway off Metropolitan Ave and I was stranded. My husband and my dad came to sit with me until the tow truck came and my dad came with some pizza from this place. Super good! The sauce is a little sweet and the crust is crisp with cornmeal and perfectly cooked. It soothed my sadness about my broken down car. We tried this place again to be sure that the pizza was good and it surely was. Definitely a place I will hit up often. read more

I just watched a commercial on TV for pizza hut...their slogan is "no one out pizzas the hut!" I laughed...they obviously never tried Luigi's!!! I will always order pizza from Luigi's before I order from anybody else. Their meatballs are also awesome whether you have 'em on a hero or with spaghetti. These guys are a staple if you live in the Woodhaven/Ozone Park area. read more

The one thing that was noticeably lacking was the service. While it was efficient and fast there was no cordiality, it was just perfunctuary (no smiles, no kind words, nothing). Despite this, we would definitely recommend the restaurant because the pizza was excellent. We also welcomed the 20% lunch discount on the food.
