I always start with 2 slices and a large half and half.

As a Queens native I'm always going to stop by this location whenever I'm on Jamaica Ave. This location has been part of my life since I was kid the pizza is always amazing. The service is always the same quick and fast. The only issue is you may not get a seat depending on the time of your arrival. There's standing room in the front and the back. This place has been a staple in the community. While they're changing Jamaica Ave I hope they don't get rid of this location.

I heard that this was one of the best pizza spots, and they did not lie! Keep in mind it is cash only. This pizza was absolutely delicious. It was huge, the marinara was delicious, and it was super cheesy. I definitely recommend to check it out if you're ever in the area. The employees were kind and definitely were patient with us as we asked questions.

This is where the locals go to get pizza. It was highly recommended. The location is a small pizza shop with one or two small tables in the back. There is standing counter space to eat your food. They only accept cash. I ordered one pepperoni slice which was $5.25. You order by the slice or pie. They do not have combos. They only take cash. The employees are just there working nothing good or bad to add here. The pizza was delicious with a crunch crust, tasty sauce, and ample cheese. I went at lunch time so it was pretty busy. A plain cheese slice was $3.75. No decor or special anything in regards to ambiance. People go here simply for the quality pizza.

I haven't had Margherita's in years and it's still the best! My mom was with me and said the same. She has been going there for years, but hasn't gone in a while. We both grabbed a cheese slice and the first bite felt like nostalgia wrapped in love lol The best way I could describe it. The place is small, and has some seating in the back. It's the perfect spot to pop in, eat your slice, and be on your way

A classic institution that my late mom enjoyed. A connection to the past. They keep it simple and delicious. Cash only, call in advance if you want a full pie. All about a reduction of wait time as they are made to order. There are a few tables in the back, most eat at the counter or take to go. A simple pizzeria with longevity.

Cash only. To me, this is best regular slice in NYC. I have only ever had the plain slices, but I don't think you will want anything else. Very unassuming location for a pizzeria, in the middle of the ave. Small dine in, I always stand at the counter in the front. Have burned the roof of my mouth many times in my haste to devour these slices.

My favorite pizza of all time. This restaurant has been there for years & never disappoints. I don't know what they put in that sauce but it's the best & it's cheesy. The service is fast most people stand there to eat because with this pizza it tastes best when it freshly comes out. NOTE: Cash only & it's really hot when it comes out so be careful with getting burned.

This place is still a staple in Queens. Cash only! Very old school! Small space. However the pizza tastes great. I won't lie, this is my 2nd fave in Queens but not by far. Not really sure about those that say the taste is different from back then. Still consistently taste the same to me. Also, their meatball sandwich is really good too! My only issue with them is that they don't deliver.

This was one of the best new pizzerias in NYC, opening to great accolades from various publications. Being a poor kid in Junior High School working for a mere $3.75/hr across the street at the corner Baskin Robins (RIP) did not give me the opportunity for quite some time. Anyway, fast forward 5 years and I finally had the chance with a few friends to experience what many called the best pizza in Queens, and I was very impressed. This became my regular "fancy" pizza shop of choice. What I loved most about it was the crispy and charred thin crust. It adds so much to the overall taste and enjoyment. The sauce was deliciously tangy and the fresh mozzarella made it a level above everything else in the neighborhood. One word of warning, the pizza could get a little soggy in the center if too many toppings are ordered. I usually choose none or no more than two. Also noteworthy is their yummy calzones. My personal favorite combination is sausage and spinach. Mixed with all that oozing ricotta and dipped in some tomato sauce, that is one great bite. Lastly, I like most of their salads too. Their food has been a staple in my diet for most of my adult life. Decades go by, and out of nowhere, I hear the news that Nick's had burned down. What a loss for our community! What a loss personally! Thankfully, they are back and feeling every bit like the original. Food is as good as before, while the decor and service has always been on point. Though not my favorite pizza in NYC, or even Queens, it does hold a spot in my rotation.

Been going to Nicks for years, before and after their renovation. The must get here are the large pies with any favorite topping. As the toppings are all fresh high quality ingredients. We love the sausage, meatball, mushroom, and spinach pie. Crisp chewy crust with a nice char. It's great that it isn't soggy with the spinach as other places have failed at. You can't go wrong with the pies here they are wonderful and deliscious. End the meal with a cannoli as the pistachio and filling make for a nice cannoli with a shell that reminds us of a ice cream cone. Nicks a place i'll go to again and again with wonderful folks working there.

I didn't see prices for slices (but maybe native NY'ers know you can order by the slice I saw a lot of people with slices only) so we ordered a whole "pie". They were very nice about letting us order something off menu (pepperoni and mushroom) and half sautéed veggies. You order at the counter and then wait for the pizza to be brought to you. It's a chill place with a couple of tables. The pizza was piping hot and I didn't even know I burned the roof of my mouth until after I was satiated from the pizza! The cheese pull on the pepperoni mushroom was great. The cheese was obviously fresh cuz of the pull without having to load on tons of cheese . It was very well balanced. The red sauce was sweet (is this a NY thing?) but I didn't mind it. If you want a pizza with great cheese pull. Go here! But you have to eat it while it's HOT. The sautéed veggies pizza was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly cuz I am not a veggie fan in general but it was good enough for me to enjoy eating the entire slice! Great pizza! Next time I want to try the grandma slice to see what the difference is from a regular slice.

Vincenzo's Pizza has the fluffiest and more garlicky garlic knots Aside from their absolutely amazing garlic knots, we had their spinach slice, mushroom slice, and chicken marsala slice. The spinach slice was just heavenly, it was like having creamed spinach in the form of a pizza. Very heavy but your soul is happy. The other 2 were also fantastic in their own right. The service was fast and friendly and it's so clean in here, I thought it was a grand opening. There are plenty of pizzerias in my area but I'd gladly do the 15 minute drive to Vincenzo's any time.

I guess so Your stomach squeals, baby, I know Come on down to Vincenzo's Call them up quick, order up, oh Need a shot of mozzarell-o Your stomach squeals, baby, I know Come on down to Vincenzo's" This neighborhood pizzeria has reinvented itself. Vincenzo's has expanded by taking over the store next door and not only doubled their square footage space, but raised the ceiling up and knocked down the intervening wall for a more open dining room. It is amazing compared to that small pizzeria from just last year. This is their 50th anniversary year, so the expansion is well justified. What has not changed is their food quality, which has always been good. Also being down the street from St. John's University helps keep them in business. The display cases have a whole range of specialty pizzas if you're looking for a quick slice, from regular sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom to buffalo chicken and penne alla vodka. You have a choice of Neapolitan, Sicilian style or a nice Grandma. There are also stuffed sausage, spinach & chicken rolls, but if you want a whole custom pie, they will make one up fresh for you with whatever toppings you would like. We came in recently to grab a few slices for lunch and my BIL ended up ordering a couple of kitchen entrees to share, as well. The Chicken Parmigiana is great with lots of gooey melted mozzarella and comes with a side of pasta marinara. We also had the Linguini with White Clam Sauce with both chopped clams and clams in shell, that was really tasty. I like that the sauce is a little creamy and not runny and would definitely get it again because it's one of my favorites. So whether you're working late cuz you're a singer or you're that one boy that won't stop calling and all your give-a-*flux* are on vacation, don't worry because Vincenzo's is open until 10:30pm to feed your pizza cravings. I don't think they have an Espresso machine though.
