Regular slice
Farrah B.

This is the 3rd location of Rosa's pizza i've visited and each one is a little bit different. When it comes to actual offerings, taste and availability, they are all sorts different. The staff at all of them are super nice and really great at giving suggestions. I went with a regular slice, a spinach pinwheel, and tne of the mini chicken parm sandwiches. Sadly, they all lacked flavor and I had to add garlic and a few other seasonings to give it a little zing. Note: parking is tough around this area.

On the quest this trip for the best pizza this one takes the cake! Not only was it the best this trip but it was the best I've had to date in my life. We got a variety of Sicilian as well as their regular style pizza and after getting a slice of each we went back for more. The Sicilian was the best pizza I've had. You have to get both types pictured because they each offer a little different thickness but both equally are amazing and the sauce was a little different on each as well in both very good ways. They put as much focus on the sauce and toppings as well as the crust which from our NYC experience is rare you either like one or the other with the different types until we ate here! We wanted to try so many more things here but were so full. The guy in the back they kept calling uncle sal appeared to be the talent of this operation and he has mastered his craft! This was the Rosas location of middle village queens FYI. It was so worth the hour trip from midtown where we stayed! There was a rosas near penn station and 34th but the quality wasn't nearly the same. It also was the location of where they shot scenes from the show billions if you are into that kind of thing. The place offered seating and comfortable pizza parlor vibe and didn't have all the hustle and bustle of downtown. This was also the cheapest pie we had on our visit as well. So much bang and flavor for your buck! This is very bittersweet as they have set the bar extremely high and will be hard to top. We will continue to visit every-time we're in town. We truly wish we had this back home in Cincinnati. We thanked them and expressed how much we loved it on the way out and he smiled, said thank you, and wished us well.

SERIOUSLY, the best pizza around. We've tried all of the top spots around in NJ, PA, and CT...this place tops them all! From the Sicilian to the grandmas, the pies to the slices, you truly will not be disappointed. Better than Sally's Apizza, better than L&B Spumoni Garden, better even than Artichoke, Mama's Too, and Di Fara. Last but not least - the staff is super friendly and the tables inside are pleasant. My favorite - grandmas pie well done or a Sicilian well done.

Valid on the go. Eggplant and regular slices are great. Sit down available and sports play all day.

Penne alla vodka with sausage

Love this neighborhood place. Frequented this establishment many a times for a slice---and the best ever penne alla vodka I have ever had. I have searched and searched and still long for this! Pair it with some sausage and you will be completely amazed. Simple, easy and so good!

I ordered a Sicilian slice and Margherita slice. Both were amazing. But that Sicilian slice did something to me! It was to gooooood!!! The service matched the pizza.

Pizza not worthy of eating
Neal C.

First of all, they have terrible customer service. I had my pizzas delivered and when I opened the pizza, they were smushed to one side, mangled, and cheese and sauce everywhere. I called them up thinking I'd get an apology, but no, I was met with somebody rude and who obviously doesn't care about the customer. Second of all, the pizza was subpar. I tried eating the parts without cardboard and it tasted terrible. Even drowning it in Tabasco or garlic powder couldn't mask the taste of this dreadful pizza. Third of all, the pizza is overpriced for the quality put into it. I'm sorry but this Rosas lost a customer In me. There are better Rosas in Queens. Steer clear of this one!!!!

Nothing fancy, just a great classic slice shop. The crust is thin and crispy, sauce to cheese ratio is solid. Highly recommend for the area!

On a corner across the street from the 7 train 40 St - Lowery St Station, Soledad Luna is easy to locate. Upon walking inside, I was seated quickly by the bar area. The restaurant has cool Wall Art. Staff were welcoming, greeted me w/ warm smiles, are attentive & provided good customer service. The complimentary Bread Basket was great. Service was great - our main server, who hails from Bologna, Italy, has a good sense of humor and genuinely seems to enjoy sharing the wonderful food of her native country with guests. She was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, though she had her hands full on a busy Thursday night. As for the food: great focaccia (on the house!), followed by a fresh and abundant simple green salad, the branzino (cooked en papillote with olive oil, lemon, and salt - simple preparation let the fresh taste of the fish shine through), with a side of roasted potatoes (tender & crispy deliciousness), and topped off with hazelnut semifredo, rolled in cocoa - the perfect sweet ending! My husband had the sausage with beans, spaghetti with seafood, broccolini on the side, and affogato for dessert - raved about all. He had a Negroni - his go-to drink - which earned high praise, and we shared a crisp and refreshing bottle of Pinot Grigio. Highly recommend!!

They immediately brought bread to the table and it was yummy! Because we were the last people to leave we ended up taking home extra bread and I've been eating it with my breakfast. So this was the meal that kept giving. We got the tricolore salad, fresh and simple. We then got the branzino and lasagna bolognese. Both were cooked perfectly. I never order lasagna but this was great! Branzino was fresh and flaky. We had this with a carafe of Chianti. I love that they have all 3 options for per glass, carafe and bottle! All of this wasn't too expensive either! Highly recommend if you're in this beautiful area.

Nice warm bread with a very flavorful olive oil started the meal followed by baked clams and buratta, baked clams were fresh and delicious, garlicy with a little red pepper bite, they use panko breadcrumbs and while they were definitely one of the the better baked clams ive had I think I prefer a more traditional breadcrumb. The buratta was fresh milky and creamy and paired perfectly with the camponta ( probably murdered the spelling on that). The oso bucco special was insanely good, fall off the bone tender, great sauce and the mashed potatoes with crispy panchetta were out of this world . My fish ..I want to say filet of sole?..i dont remember lol, was cooked beautifully covered with the same delicious breading as the baked clams and came served over a generous portion of spinach and garlic. Deserts were exactly what you would expect, classic and delicious and they also make a mean Manhattan..all and all I was very pleasantly suprised , this place is a definite gem on Grand ave , nothing can come close to touching it. My only complaint is the service could be better, started out great, then there was a shift change and it got crowded and I kindof fell off dramatically Also the ambiance could be better, its a nice space but too bright , that being said I will be back.

I was extremely disappointed with the service at Park Side. While the food was actually very good,…read morethe overall customer service and experience were frustrating and far below what I expected. I had made a reservation specifically to celebrate my birthday, yet when we arrived, we were sent to the third floor because apparently even the reservation and seating arrangements could not be properly managed. When you make a reservation for a special occasion, you expect at least a basic level of organization and attention. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The staff also lacked professionalism and presentation. Some employees appeared extremely tired, disoriented, or as if they might have been dealing with a hangover. Communication was another major problem. The English proficiency of several staff members was very limited, which made it incredibly difficult to resolve even a simple issue with my order. What frustrated me the most was the management. I asked to speak with the manager because there had been a mistake with my order and I simply wanted to explain what happened and make a suggestion. The manager never came out to speak with me or address my concern. Instead, I was left trying to communicate with employees who either did not understand what I was saying or were unable to help. The owners of Park Side should pay much closer attention to the professionalism, training, communication skills, and especially the management of the staff representing their restaurant. Good food alone is not enough when the service makes the entire experience stressful and unpleasant. My advice: simply DO NOT GO ON A SUNDAY. It was chaotic, poorly managed, and honestly a disaster. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and what should have been an enjoyable experience ended up being unnecessarily frustrating. The food was good, but the service and overall experience were terrible.
