The signage of this place is stylized in such a way that at first I thought this place was called Tittie! Sold! Whatever they were selling I am buying. Actually checking out the inside it turns out it is a smashburger place that is reminiscent of the burgeoning 7th Street chain that is popping up everywhere. What I appreciate about this place is the menu has more options than 7th Street. Listening to my buddy Billy C who capitalized GARLIC MUSHROOM burger in his review made me intrigued, He was totally on the mark with this - I loved the pile of garlicky mushroom sitting on this burger. We paired this with the loaded fries which made a good shareable meal since we were not too hungry. Like 7th Street, Mexican coke is available if that is your thing. Other burger options include kimchi, jalapenos and fried egg in various configurations. Skinniest patty I've ever had - even for smash burger style, and the rest bread. A year later, they've gotten better. Bit of a letdown. I ordered a Garlic Mushroom Smash. Tasted fine, but for 8 bucks, I was expecting more of it. For the same price, I can get a burger with double the meat and as many topping as I want at Five Guys. When the order came, it looked more like a tray of loaded fries because of how much sauce it had. But after having an initial taste, I can see why because the sauce is bomb. The bun is nice and soft. The meat has a great charred flavor along with a strong balance of garlic and mushroom taste and aromas. If you don't like getting your hands dirty and the sight of dripping grease, then you should probably go across the street for sushi instead because burgers is not for you. This is my favorite burger spot in the area. Simply put, these are legit smashburgers with deliciously crispy edges. The Garlic Mushroom smash is great if you like mushrooms and truffle flavor, which I do. The Kimchi Kicker is also solid and each bite ends with a wonderful harmony between the initial contrast between kimchi and a beef burger. However, my favorite so far is a classic smashburger with classic sauce and beef bacon with some Japaleno Rush sauce on the side. That rush sauce is delicious. It's kind of like the green sauce you'd get at Pio Pio but thicker and less spicy. It is surprisingly delicious as a dip for all of the burgers IMO. Beef Bacon is not like pork bacon, but it is delicious in its own way. Also, the cajun fries are delicious and you get a lot, so I'd recommend those as well. read more
