My friend wanted to try here combo special $7.99. It came mini burger x 2, fries and drink. It's very small portions of all. One mini burger did it come with 2 chicken fries. French fries are much smaller than S size fries. So much disappointment with price. This is a kid meal portion. Order by touch panel or cashier. Pro tip- If you want a halal burger, go to BK Jani in The Hugh on 53rd during lunch hours for their much larger burger, which also comes with masala fries, for around $15, which blows this place and 90% of non-halal spots out of the water. Also, an obvious side note- You wonder how a place that's been open for, I believe, a year and a half has 1500 Google Reviews? It's because they give you a free soda if you write a 5-star review, so I guess if you have a palate for Polar sodas, you can give them a five on that site. If you're going to get anything, go for the tender combo, as their sliders, burgers, and buns are bad. Anyway, it's nice to find a Zabiha Halal spot that serves burgers and other American grub in this neighborhood. I used to frequent somewhat similar spots back in the Arabic neighborhood I lived near in Brooklyn, and it was nice to see this place open a while back. I have tried a handful of things here, and honestly, it's gotten worse every time. The first time, I got the tenders consisting of six pieces for $14, which is honestly very reasonable. The thinner pieces were a tad dry, as the batter had become overly fried, but it's hard to complain about the price point. They also came with a perfectly alright sauce called Mambo, which they list as spicy but is as hot as a spicy McNugget or similar with a light sweetness. The second time, I had the Slider Combo for $7.99, which came with two chicken sliders (spicy if wanted,) fries, and a Polar soda. The fries were honestly nice and better quality than those at any nearby fast-food place. The sliders were dreadful, however. They were dry with overly breaded chicken with no pickles or anything else to help, so I guess that's why it comes with a soda or water. This doesn't help the even worse bun, which was dry as well, and makes a Martin's potato roll look like a Rolls-Royce. The Polar drink was, as expected, a worse Diet Coke. The last time, and the last time I'll ever stop in here, I got the Classic Burger, which is their smash patty with American cheese, holy sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion. This was the worst burger I've had in ages and easily the worst smashburger, with the meat somehow being dry. I guess the bun was different as it was larger, but also as the top was charred better than the burger meat. Maybe the signature burger for $4 more is better, but I'm never going to stop for it if they're careless enough to burn a burger bun. 3 stars for the chicken tenders due to the deal. 2 stars for the slider combo, as the fries were decent. 0.5 stars for the burger. 2/5 read more

I've been to this place twice, and both times I ended up with severe stomach cramps 2-3 hours after eating. I gave them a second chance thinking the first time was just bad luck, but the exact same thing happened again. At this point, I can't trust the quality of the food. Wanted something different for lunch and came to this place for a change. Initially wanted the sliders but then opted for the pick a slider, where you can get 3 of the same sliders so I got the chicken sliders and the chopped cheese sliders. I also got an order of small sweet potato tots. I ordered on the iPad, paid with my phone, and waited about 10 minutes before my order was ready. The tots were perfection. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The chicken slider was crispy but I think the chicken piece was too thick. The seasoning, perfect. My favorite was the chopped cheese sliders. Sooooo yummy! Very overpriced with limited menu after 6pm and no combo/wraps as advertised. I was disappointed with what we got for three of us that cost $50 including two chicken sandwiches with side orders, drinks that cost $3.00 and extras such as fires. Worst fast food location I've visited so far. I saw employees leave food sitting in cardboard trays over the fryers after an order was canceled, and then put it back into the fryer when someone else ordered the same item. That's completely unacceptable. I've had good experiences at their other locations, but this one really changed my opinion. It makes you wonder what else might be happening behind the scenes, especially behind that big blurred glass. We expect better standards than this. read more

Holy Cow Burgers just opened this week! I ordered the Chopped Cheese on a roll ($8) online for pickup and added jalapeños and pickles ($1 each). There are three tables with a total of 10 seats inside and a fridge filled with various sodas and drinks. Everything is new and clean inside and the service was friendly. The chopped cheese was pretty messy but also pretty damn good! I want to try their burgers next. Now that Holy Cow is open, I will no longer be walking further to Shake Shack! read more

Given we came here at odd hours during a storm, and after a long NYCC-I have to say this place was clean and the staff was friendly. They acknowledged my gf's egg allergy and gave us the many egg free options on the menu. They even have vegan sauce for the burgers! We got the holy burger, which seems to be their signature. Is it the greatest burger ever made? I can't say that. But it's pretty tasty and filling. It's quite the departure from your every day take out burger. I like my burgers a little more cooked through, but that's probably because of the brisket. Next time I'll try the chuck. Overall clean and doesn't break the bank too much. The large fries was surprisingly generous in size. We could share, and I'm a fries guy. So, that surprised me. read more

I had the plant based burger ($13) and at another time the plant based hot dog ($4). The burger was very good, somewhat thin but compensated somewhat in wideness. Both of these items I'm told were Impossible brand I think the hot dogs are a newer item than may not be in stores. Each could fool somebody into thinking they were real meat. The burger bun was excellent, soft and puffy but with a slight toastiness on the outside. They also have good onion rings with a dipping sauce, onion rings seem to have become somewhat hard to find these days. read more

I was quite excited to try Holy Cow Burgers, but sadly I was disappointed. On the positive side, the staff was extremely helpful and nice and the service was quick and timely. In terms of food, I tried the Onion Smashburger with Bacon (rating: 2/5) The burger came out and it was quite greasy, although this can be somewhat expected as it is a burger joint. The bacon was under-cooked/raw. The bun was not particularly great and I felt the flavor was just "off". The sauce that they gave was very flavorful though. I also tried the French fries (rating: 4/5) and the onion rings (rating: 4.5/5), both of which were were crispy and quite delicious. read more

First time having today. Service was quick and efficient. I order a smash original burger with onion rings and a vanilla shake. While both the burger and onion rings were delicious, my milkshake was very disappointing.
