1/4 Leg & Thigh with Lemon Kale, Charred Sweet Potatoes, and Honey Spiced Carrots

Why was this actually so shockingly good. There's so much fast casual restaurants like this because of the number of office buildings here but everything tastes roughly the same, #OfficeFood. I didn't have high hopes going to Fields Good Chicken but this was shockingly delicious! I ordered the 1/4 Leg & Thigh with Lemon Kale, Charred Sweet Potatoes, and Honey Spiced Carrots. At first when they asked me what sauce I wanted, I was a bit worried that they were going to pour the sauce all over the plate but thank god they packed it on the side so that all the flavors of each individual item wouldn't be diluted. The chicken, first of all, was so incredibly tender and full of flavor - it was better marinated than any Popeyes, Cane's, Boston Market, etc. could ever. The carrots were okay, but the sweet potatoes were absolutely to die for with its crispy skin and soft and melty insides. The Lemon Kale also was absolutely delicious as it was so full of flavor, I could have just eaten this as a salad alone. Overall, incredibly impressed with Fields Good Chicken and this may or may not be my to-go place for food in the future. Also their portion sizes were huge, I couldn't finish the entire thing in a meal.

Food was very average and corn bread was pretty small. The service was nice but I most likely wouldn't eat here again. Felt like chipotle but more expensive. The sauces were good.

First time trying this as I keep seeing this place pop up all around the city, so I was intrigued. They had recently updated their menu so I got the Bueno Bowl 2.0 ($14). Not sure what makes this the 2.0, but this one consisted of Brown Rice, Avocado, Black Beans, Tomatoes, Tortilla Strips, and Chipotle BBQ. The rice was pretty dry, but was helped thanks to the chicken being on top with the sauce dumped on top. Overall tastes good, but I was not full after I was finished. I guess that means I'm getting ice cream somewhere else or a pastry somewhere.

Good office food. We really came here for dinner and were advised to get a whole chicken with rice and black beans. The chicken was really good and well-priced. We may be back. Note: The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, and we liked the comfortable layout

I had heard about this spot before the pandemic and remembered they were all about chicken sandwiches. When I checked the menu, I saw they completely rebranded! I'm all about eating healthy (for the most part) so this was perfect for me. I ordered a quarter chicken with two sides (brown rice and smashed potatoes). Tasty, but next time I'm gonna opt for mac and cheese!

If you want something healthy in NYC you've found the right spot. I created my own bowl. The chicken thighs were extremely juicy and flavorful, the rice was cooked tender, the sweet potatoes were cubed and lightly seasoned, and the broccoli was tender and lightly seasoned as well. The service was insanely fast. From ordering to leaving took only 5 minutes. The staff was extremely nice. The restaurant was clean and tidy.

While walking to another restaurant, my coworkers and I saw Field Good Chicken and decided to try it out. If I had to describe the type of food Fields Good Chicken is, it would be healthy fast casual. Order: - Oven Roasted leg & Thigh, Arugula & Herb Smashed Potatoes, Tangy BBQ (4/5) Pros: - Healthier options to choose from compared to a lot of other fast casual places - Good options of different cuts of the chicken - Chicken was nicely seasoned and moist Cons: - Sides were kinda lackluster Overall: While the chicken was good, I wasn't all that impressed with my meal. It's good for what it is.

    Good chicken! Good decor!

The roasted chicken at Fields is not just good...It's da** good! Service is with a smile of the eyes and with adherence to all covid-19 precautions. A half a chicken with a side of smashed red potatoes and kale with lemon vinegraitte were sharable for two. An order for two cornbread supplemented the one with the platter. The green goddess dip is Greek homemade sauce and chicken blends well with it.. Carryout back to temporary lodging (in town for Sloan Kettering Cancer Center) and a meal that hit the spot, with enough for the next day. Military discount saved a few dollars. We will be back. Sloan-Kettering Outpatient Pavilion is just around the corner, perfect situation for appointments, meals, and lodging close proximity to each other.

The first time at Field Good and I didn't know what to get and so I played it safe and I asked the nice girl at the counter to hook me up and that she did. She gave me a big tray filled to the rim, I saw Boneless Chicken Breast, Sweet Potatoes Mash, Mac & Cheese, Brown Sugar Blondie, Quinoa, Cucumber, and sauce and more stuff in the bottom of my tray for less than $18. They do have other combos and bowls for less that limited to two sides, etc., The chicken was the best part, a well-cooked chared on the skin side and seasoned with to taste. I was thinking I had cornbread but it was more like a brown brownie. Mac&Cheese needed a cheese that has a flavor. Sweet Potatoes where better than OK. I didn't finish it, but I am a Fried Chicken guy so I don't hold that against Fields Good. This place will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood from what I got and the service was really good.

I order the Mojo Chicken Thigh with roasted broccoli garlic and sweet potatoes. The broccoli had no garlic and was very dry and burnt. I only received regular potatoes. The chicken was fatty and all dark meat. I was hoping I'd like this place but unfortunately I won't be ordering from here anymore. No seasoning on anything. The cornbread stuck to the root of my mouth. They were quick with delivery which is why I gave them 3 stars. Maybe it was just a bad day.

A classic NYC hole-in-the-wall, this place is almost designed to be missed. Blink, check your phone, or dodge one too many pedestrians, and you've walked right past it. Try not to, it's worth the stop. Pricing sits a little on the higher side for a combo, but let's be honest - this is New York. The burgers are bold, satisfying, and built to impress. I went for the chicken and veggie sandwiches, both dressed with a mango lime sauce that genuinely were very flavorful. The tomato aioli on the side was another win. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and dusted with a Cajun-meets-Indian spice blend that somehow makes complete sense and zero sense at the same time - in the best way. Rowdy Rooster is a must-visit: come ready for real Indian heat and flavor.

We hopped in line but waited less than a minute because the service was incredibly fast. I managed to snatch a table within 30 seconds, and my husband got our food in less than two minutes. The food was actually really good--we got the chicken sandwich, which features three chicken tenders with lettuce and their special sauce, served with french fries and a Coke. Everything was delicious and very well priced. Getting a seat and having such quick service made everything work out perfectly. I also loved the ambiance of the store, they play cool music and the decor is great, especially the disco balls!

I ordered the three finger combo. What came out was just plain sad looking. Tiny chicken fingers, barely cooked fries. The Raising Cane's sauce was good but the vessels to that sauce were so lacking. The breading on these chicken fingers was nothing special and again, so so small. Service was fast at least, but the place itself was dirty and virtually every table needed a wipe down. I know, I know, it's Penn Station, it's supposed to be a little grimy. Honestly, if these chicken fingers weren't so tiny and my fries were properly cooked I could deal with a little grime. I was surprised to find that it's a ghost kitchen. You walk behind the coffee shop and order from a kiosk with many other restaurants to order from as well. My order took 15 minutes and within the estimated time frame that they gave you. Once my order was ready, I clicked to open via text and the locker popped open with my bag --viola! I ordered the Claude the Claw ($18.99) with medium spicy sauce on the side. The sandwich is pretty huge. I like how they wrapped the sandwich around the claw sticking out from the bottom. I did take it out of the wrapper for the picture, but suggest you keep the wrapper on as it gets messy to eat. The spices and flavor is delicious and the chicken is crispy and tender. It's a great Nashville hot chicken sandwich overall. While the claw is insta-worthy, it's not quite worth the extra $4 (plus you can't really even eat it, so it's all for show). I'd suggest getting the claw for your first time, but I'd get the regular sandwich in the future for the lower price.

And let's just say... the house won. I ordered a Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Wings, Fries, and the 3-sauce flight. The sandwich? Dry, old, and looking like it clocked out an hour before I arrived. The chicken itself was hard on the edges and somehow soggy in the center -- a combination I didn't even know was possible. The mayo situation looked like someone whispered the word "sauce" over the bun and walked away. The Spicy Wings were no better -- overcooked, dark, and tasted like they'd been sitting in the warmer since lunchtime. Not spicy. Not fresh. Just... tired. The fries? Burnt, cold, and absolutely done with life. They didn't even pretend to try. The only thing that saved this meal from being a total loss was the 3-sauce flight. Credit where it's due -- the sauces were actually solid. They added enough flavor and moisture to make the rest at least edible. Without them, this review would've ended a lot sooner. I get it -- it's Penn Station, it's late, everyone's hustling, and the crowd is nonstop. But even with that, freshness shouldn't be optional. Overall: If you're starving and desperate, grab the sauces and hope for the best. Otherwise? Keep walking. There are better options within the same block, even during off-hours. Go to Gardenia.
