In a city that has food trucks on every street... this is hands down the best one. I was told that if you are on Madison Ave, this is a must and I 100% agree. At lunchtime there's a long line but you can order ahead and pick up. If you aren't in a time crunch, go after 2. 62nd & Madison is in the heart of some of the city's best shopping and businesses, so you will see all types of people lined up to eat some of the best Mediterranean food around. It's so close to the park, you can walk over, grab a bench and have lunch outside on a nice day. Only open until 6:00 on weekdays and 5 on Saturday, plan your stop accordingly. Chicken Pita was fabulous! Tons of flavor. The warm pita was just crispy enough to hold the generous amount of fresh chicken, tomatoes, and onions with one of the best Tzatziki sauces on top. Mediterranean Chicken Pita is also stuffed with delicious grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, onion, and adds olives, feta and a nice vinaigrette on top. Portions are big, but don't be surprised if you finish the whole thing because every bite is so good, you wont want to stop. Plenty of choices on the menu, if you haven't been, you must ty this.

This is hands down the best food cart. I have tried numerous food carts. Tony's dragon grille is one the best I have tried. No wonder there is always a long line for the order. On weekday at around 1pm. I saw more than 10 teams ahead of me. Took about 20 minutes to order and 10 minutes to recieved the order. If you go during their peak time, be prepared to wait a while. Parking around there is not convinient. All the adjacent roads are for commercial parking only until 7pm. If you drive, you might have some hard time finding a parking. The ticket polices are very active in this neighborhood. (I got a ticket). I ordered 3 bowls, steak and chicken bowl, pork soulvaki and grilles shrimp greek salad. Rice- very flavorful and tasty. Rich in herb. soft. Portion is a lot. Meats- used to be bigger in portion.. Chicken- well cooked. Mix of dark and white meats. Very tender. Goes well with the white sauce. Steak- it was little dry without the sauce, but great with white sauce. Kind of lean meat. Seasoned well Veggie- very fresh. Loved greek salad with bit of citrus taste. Shrimp- nothing too special. Very tender Make sure to ask for the lemon sauce! Goes well with any meat

Found a baby ROACH at the bottom of my rice bowl. And you know what that means? That means I didn't make this horrific discovery until *after* I made my way through all the food. That's right, I found this after I ate everything. To make matters worse I shared that bowl with my partner, who had never had Tony's before. Ironically we were even talking about how good the food was when suddenly I went still over the discovery. As if all of this wasn't enough, my experience in picking up the food was lackluster as well. I had ordered ahead for pickup since I came during the lunch hour on a weekday, and had a meeting to attend when I got back to work. In spite of this my order came out after my coworkers', who had stood in line. I didn't end up getting to eat the food since I got back to work when my meeting began, which was the whole reason I ended up sharing it later in the evening with my partner. Came here three times, never coming back again. I don't care how much we all know that NYC is crawling with roaches and rats - I should never see one in my food.

There's tomatoes stuffed in my chicken, lettuce wrap, and I'm allergic.

This place is great for lunch or dinner however, they do not listen. I come here on my break to get a chicken wrap with lettuce and onions. Every single time I have to head back to the location to return my meal due to the fact that they always place tomatoes and I'm allergic. I believe this is unacceptable because I specifically tell them I'm allergic and it seems like they don't care. I totally get it. I'm black on Madison Avenue where Tony dragon grille and his team are more attentive towards white customers. It's sad because I spent $15-$20 every day to get bullshit service. Listen, it is what it is for now on when I purchase I'm going to open chicken lettuce wrap in front of them. I don't want no surprises, especially if I'm allergic! Please do better!

Headed over here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch in the neighborhood. Surprisingly open despite it not being the usual work crowd, with no line in front of the truck to order. Plenty of options to choose from here regarding meats, platters, sandwiches, salads, and the like. Settled on the Pork Souvlaki Pita ($9) and a Snapple ($2); ready within several minutes of placing the order. Pita is warm and soft, but toasted outside in order to keep firm over all the ingredients. Inside is a generous amount of chunky pork, tomatoes, and onions smothered in tzatziki sauce. Meat is really juicy and the tzatziki is enough to balance out the pita without being too soggy. Only complaint is that the spice level is lacking, so wish I had ordered a sauce as well (believe this is extra). Perfect place to grab a meal on the way to the park.

Tony Dragon's Grille is a staff favorite. We often order group lunch from Tony's and we even send our customers to the truck.

The food itself was bad -- like really bad. From start to finish everything missed the mark: The hummus was bland and tasted like someone forgot the spices. The doma (dolmas) were disappointing and didn't have the rich flavor they should. Even the baklava, which should be a sweet highlight, was dry, lackluster, and honestly not enjoyable. The Turkish coffee was so bitter it was almost undrinkable -- if you like bitter coffee, maybe it's your thing, but it wasn't what I expected. They market themselves as Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine, but what I ate didn't come close to what I'd consider good food in that category. My stomach was still growling afterward -- and not in a "I want more" way, but in a "why did I eat this?" way. The staff and service were fine and the atmosphere is pretty, but at the end of the day it's just not worth it when the food itself is so underwhelming. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for authentic or tasty Turkish/Middle Eastern food.

It was a little hard to hear and converse at times as it gets crowded, but the food was delicious and there are really unique items on the menu. Food: The duck shawarma was one of our favorites! The lamb and scallops were also flavorful and tender. The dips were delicious with the pita, but I wish the serving size for the dips were bigger. The fries were great - well seasoned! Also recommend the milky pudding, it was a nice refreshing way to end the dinner. Service: Our server was super helpful in letting us know what items are more shareable and his suggestions for cocktails. Definitely try some of the arak based cocktails. There were 7 of us The seating was cozy but not cramped. We started with 7 family style small dishes: Hummus with Falafel Pops (chickpea purée, tahini, falafel, olive oil), Spring Burrata (roasted cherry tomatoes, toast, basil oil), Hamachi Crudo (passionfruit vinaigrette, citrus zest, cucumber, mint, sesame tuile), Scallops (carrot puree, serrano pepper, brown butter sauce), Tenderloin Skewer (zaatar chimichurri, fresh herb salad), and Shiitake Stuffed Grape Leaves (tomato coulis, yogurt foam, herbs). Everything was delicious. The hummus was well seasoned the falafel had a nice crunch. It went well with the warm puffy gyro bread that came to the table. The burrata was wasm and creamy. I love the vinaigrette on the fish. I ended up eating most of it. The scallops were the sweetest, most tender ones I have ever had. The tenderloin skewers were tender and well seasoned. I liked the grape leaves but the rice consistency was very soft almost mushy and you can barely tell there were mushrooms. There was barely any mushrooms flavor. Next we all chose an entree. I got the duck breast, my husband and daughter each had the beef tenderloin. The duck breast was smaller than i expected. The skin was nicely seared and very crispy but boy did it give my jaw a workout. It was done medium rare. It was juicy but tough. The small beef tenderloin was tender and smoky. The waiter poured the sauce over the tenderloin for added flavor. Finally dessert was a fruit plate with ice cream and pudding. The fruit was fresh and the flavors of the ice cream and pudding unique. It was a nice end to a good brunch. The price was a little expensive at $85 a person.

I got to try a variety of different items, inducing: ayran, chicken Adana sandwich on home bread, Turkish tea, and rice pudding. The ayran was probably the best I've ever had in my life. It was so refreshing, the perfect amount of salt, so good. And it's homemade. I would highly recommend you try this drink regardless of what you order, it's that good. The chicken Adana sandwich was also quite nice. The chicken was fresh and well seasoned in a good portion with some lettuce, onions, tomatoes as well. The bread was great. It's served with two wonderful, flavorful sauces: hot sauce and yogurt sauce (I much prefer the latter). Portion is incredible for the price. Then, I was initially interested in trying the fig pudding for dessert but they were out of it, so I went with the rice pudding. Again, a huge portion that is well worth the price. So creamy, so good. And, they brought out 2 Turkish teas for free to make up for not having the fig! The people are just very nice here, and the tea was also lovely, piping hot and just perfect. It's a pretty small restaurant but doesn't get crowded early on. They were playing some Turkish music while I ate, and I really enjoyed it. The people are very kind and attentive and the food is just incredible. Must try!

To drink, I ordered the Tehrani Mule; a take on the moscow with a house made ginger lime juice. 8/10; a tad watery. We decided to go family style with ordering and chose the mediterranean salad, kotlet, and falafel to start. The falafel was perfectly crisp with a slightly smoky outer crust that added really great texture and flavor. A bit dry tho -- Needed the hummus and Mezze Platter to dress it up a little. Salad was refreshing, crispy and a great palette cleanser across the table. The combo platter + mixed rice was fabulous. Chicken was tender and came right off the bone (something I'm new to but it was good!). It came with a side of tzatziki and persian zhoug (?) - a minty and herby chutney that just added another layer to the aromatics of the dish. Although the rice was great, it was a really large portion even for the group of 5. It would've been nice to have the option to split to a half portion of vegetables or different grain to balance quantity. Overall 8.9/10 - Definitely worth a visit with a group for business dinner or catching up on a friend's night out. The service is great, everyone is super attentive and you can really feel that the food with made with love. So glad I tried this place and I'll be back to give their dolmeh and dessert a taste!
