I was super excited to visit Humble Cafe as I had been seeing it on social media for months…read more They have a menu that has a lot of Asian, particularly Southeast Asian influences and flavors. They also carry pastries from other local bakers and small businesses. I wanted to grab a butter mochi square, but unfortunately they were out of the mochi squares and cookies that day. They were also out of the black sesame cream, which was a bummer because my top choice was the black sesame latte. I chose to get the ube matcha latte instead. I'm not sure if I just caught them on an off day, but the whole experience was a little chaotic. First, as I was standing for the barista to take my order, she tried to give me someone else's drink. It took her a while to make my drink because she had to whisk up the matcha (honestly amazing effort as I was not expecting ceremonial-level prep). As I was walking away drinking my matcha latte, I realized that my drink was made with oat milk and not almond milk as I had requested. (I don't have an allergy but my body sometimes has trouble processing the oat and all the sugar.) The drink was still tasty, the ube syrup was very sweet and different from what you could get at other coffee shops. The matcha flavor was a little lost as a result, but it was still delicious. I hope I could swing by and give the place another try.

There is a display case of different flavors of tiramisu slices. Each slice is handmade daily with care, using premium ingredients and layered with creativity. We got a slice of the biscoff and matcha. Both were very good and had good flavor. I don't think I've had these types of flavored tiramisu before and I am so glad I had the opportunity to try it. We spent about an hour here just chatting. Staff were friendly and I can't wait to come back some other flavors of the tiramisu.

I even bring several dozen everytime I visit relatives who live in MA! Current Prices (as of 5/2026): $2.25 per Nata $27 per Dozen There have recently been a slew of Macau-Style Portuguese Egg Tart places opening up all over Flushing, Queens. All of these new bakeries are Asian owned, and part of Asian bakery chains renowned from different parts of Asia. (You should see the lines at these bakeries in Flushing!). Very innovative, with unique flavored egg tarts (Ube, tiramisu, green tea, etc). But I think the plain, original Nata's from Bakers of All Nations is still the best. Alot of the new Macau-Style tarts are very good but I'm biased to Baker of All Nation's version. They never disappoint! They are always fresh and sometimes still warm from the oven!
