I decided to try their UJI Matcha with cheese foam ($7 for a large), and it was delicious! I selected with 50% sugar level and no ice, and it was the perfect balance of sweetness. If you do not prefer it to be sweet, I would suggest ordering it with 30% sugar. The Uji Matcha itself had a traditional matcha bitter flavor which I loved, and the cheese foam was delicious! A sweet hit! Came here as part of a car meet up and was happy with the goodies here. Saving 10% is also a win! Ordered three item: Classic Uji Matcha, Crème Brûlée Milk Tea and Mango Bingsoo. The matcha was good but too strong for my taste but I know Uji means it's the good stuff. The Crème Brûlée Milk Tea was different and I had it with less sugar which maybe affected the Crème Brûlée flavor as it was too light in my opinion. Now the start surprise was the Mango Bingsoo. While many others may rave about this place and love their drinks, my husband and I thought differently and had an unpleasant experience here. We were not greeted upon entering, which is fine. There was a family of 4 ahead of us & we waited for over 10 minutes wondering what's going on... That's when we finally realized there was a self-ordering kiosk in front of us, so we just ordered on there (they didn't even finish ordering when we finished). We ordered the taro bubble milk tea and mango pomelo slush. Staff were youngsters, high schoolers, whatever- not friendly nor helpful. When our drinks were ready, they didn't even tell us, and when I went up to get them- the girl who apparently works there was like, wait- while she took pictures of the drinks. Shortly after, we also witnessed the owner's 2 kids? taking orders (maybe 7/8 yo) with no adult supervision. Unfortunately, these were probably the worst drinks we've ever drank. The taro milk tea was a good concept to have actual taro (not the powder), but blending it into the drink was beyond bad. The blended taro and liquid drink tasted like soup since the consistency was mushy and liquidity in different parts- did not go well with the boba. The mango slush had little to no mango taste with too much cheese foam, so our expectations were not met at all. There are countless boba shops in New York, but not many can compare to the Moge Tee located in New Hyde Park. First of all, the space is open, clean and modernly designed with beautiful, earthy tones. Secondly, the service is impeccable. I have been there a handful of times already, since their grand opening, and was greeted by friendly staff and warm welcomes each and every time. Most importantly, their drinks are AMAZING! I'm a huge boba fan, and have likely ingested hundreds of boba tea drinks throughout my lifetime (and still counting). Moge Tee drinks don't make me feel like crap afterwards because they use FRESH FRUIT in their beverages. The mango tea slush tastes like REAL mango because that's what they use, the super fruit green tea contains slices of fresh citrus fruits, and my favorite drink, the taro bubble milk tea, isn't purple and powdery like you'd find in other boba shops. Instead, you'll find an ample amount of FRESH taro settled on the bottom of your cup with perfectly chewy golden boba! You can customize your drinks however you'd like, adjusting sugar and ice levels to suit your preferences. I've also ordered water based (as opposed to tea based) fruit slushes for my kids, not having to feel any mom guilt ... well, because they are made with fresh fruit and I can lower sugar levels to 0-30%! So happy there's a moge tee that's nearby instead of trekking it to flushing for decent bubbletea. Moge tee always felt a little bit more sophisticated with their flavors and variety of drinks. I love their fruit tea and the mango pomelo drink. They now serve spam musubis and onigiris which is great to be able to grab a quick snack without making another stop somewhere else. This location is very cute in a small shopping center with limited parking in front but plenty in the lots next to it. They even have board games on the side so it'll be super cute for a date night stop! The only thing I had an issue with was the kiosk was glitchy and the floor was pretty dirty. It was as if someone spilled their sugary drink and then proceeded to step all over the store the entire day. read more

Both staffs are attentive and quickly made our drinks. Takes credit card and no additional charge for using credit card. We ordered two drinks that we never had before, one milky and one fruity. Both the fresh black grape tea slush and creme brulee milk tea taste great. I have been a fan of Moge Tee since my first visit to their Downtown Flushing location, specifically their Fresh Black Grape Tea slush, made with real black grapes. I'm happy to say that the quality is consistent with the slush from Flushing. There are only 3 small tables for indoor seating, so might not be ideal if you have a large group that wants to hang out. read more

Mogee Tee is one of my favorite bubble tea places to go to. They use real ingredients, not powders or syrups like most bubble tea places. I went to the new one in New Hyde Park today and ordered my fave, taro bubble tea with milk with no sugar (it's sweet enough without added sugar). The version here is lighter than other places, and you can taste the tea. They don't use as much taro as the other places, though, so you don't get much of the taro flavor. The one in Sunnyside Queens used a lot more milk and definitely a lot more taro in theirs, and the consistency was thicker... almost like a shake. If the NHP store put more taro in theirs, they would be my fave. I took a point off because of the skimpyness of the taro and because I have a bonus card that they don't honor from the other stores (not even for a punch and others do). To get bonuses from here, they want your phone number... no thanks, I already get enough junk phone calls. I would go more often, but because of this policy, I'll have to really crave a bubble tea to go. They're a little more expensive than other bubble tea places, but it's worth it to get natural ingredients. read more
