Probably the best boba spot in Great Neck! The staff are always the friendliest and the drinks are consistently good. My husband ordered a hot oolong milk tea with 30% sugar and it tastes like oolong milk tea with rice water. After I called to tell the store that it tastes like rice water instead of milk, they impatiently claimed that it is impossible. Therefore I went to to the store and asked the Mr. Impossible to try the rice water drink to proof that it was a drink that they messed up. Basically they yelled at me and said they've been making the tea for 10 years and it is impossible for them to messed up. Then they questioned if I have ever have a oolong milk tea before. They showed me the milk and even questioned if I've ever tried Lactaid. They even accusing my husband was watching them making the tea and poured the milk. Of course my husband didn't pay attention if they used the milk. They got so aggervated, raising volume, and non stop yelling at me (a paying customer who spent money and got a messed up beverage) I said why don't you try the drink since I brought it back as you claimed it was impossible to mess up the drink. At the end they angrily picked up a few bills from the cashier and slapped it on the counter and asked me to take the money. I said I didn't return for $6, I came for an apology. There was no apologies, only aggressive yelling at customer service, and never admit the drink was bad. I left telling them their service is horrible as I walked out the door hearing them calling me an evil customer. I should have got my refund since I only took one sip of the rice water oolong tea. The milk tea was made entirely from industrial powders -- no fresh milk at all -- and tasted artificial and chalky. Their so-called "peach oolong tea" was clearly leftover from the previous day. It had a strange, unpleasant smell -- like unwashed rags -- which made it undrinkable. Cleanliness and quality seem to be completely neglected here. The couple (owners) & staff working there are super nice and service is usually quick. I always order through the Uber Eats app for pickup. Parking can be difficult because it is next to a LIRR stop. However, there are metered and some loading spaces nearby. Pricing is consistent with all the other bubble tea spots but Mr. Wish's Taiwanese tea taste is definitely a refreshing change. Probably the best Boba shop I've been to in the greater New York City area, and definitely the best on Long Island by a mile. The products are spectacular. and the people running the store are wonderful. Some of the most best Bobapeople I've met. Mr. Wish has some of the best products out there and this is my joint fave location in the whole world, so you have to try it. Though Philly is the epicentre of WishUSA, Great Neck perfects the products and then some. I don't even like fruit tea usually (too chemical-sweet or too lame), but at Mr Wish? I'm all over it. There are just so many amazing things on the menu of Mr. Wish that I don't know where to start. They probably have a larger number of truly excellent drinks than anyone else. They particularly excel at the fruit drinks although their wow milk tea is absolutely WOW as well. The Peach and some other drinks are not as good as those amazing choices. My fave location is in Flushing, and it closed down as I said, but has moved to Great Neck and is as spectacular ever. I thought my 30% sugar sweetness was perfect and the recommendation for the kids was at least 60%. The colorful fruit tea was amazing, refreshing and delicious. There were so many different fruits in the tea that I used the spoon they provided to eat it like a fruit soup. There was apple, pineapple, orange, kiwi, passion fruit, and kumquat. If you love fruit, you will adore this drink. Order it! My son's strawberry sherbet (yogurt based) was my second favorite because I love strawberry and there was a lot of fresh slices of strawberry in the drink. They told us that all drinks are made fresh, all fruits cut for the drink as it's made. Even though 60% sugar, the drink was not overly sweet and did not taste artificial in any way, you know Mr. Wish is using real ingredients. My husband ordered a WOW! As a bubble tea fanatic my friend recommended that I give Mr. Wish a try and I'm glad I did. This place is a small shop that is clearly family owned. The kick about to this place is that the bubble tea is made with real fruit, yes not that artificial powdered stuff. My passion fruit bubble tea had actual passion fruit seeds and pulp in it. In this location you are able to add the amount of ice and sugar you want. I made the mistake of getting less ice because it was chilly out but in the future I wouldn't recommend doing this as my tea wasn't as cold as I needed it to be.
