Probably the best boba spot in Great Neck! The staff are always the friendliest and the drinks are consistently good. It feels like a warm neighborhood hangout spot where there's always people chillin inside, compared to other establishments in great neck where people just enter and leave after purchases I'm excited to see them come up with more and more drinks to add to their menu. (Please add a wintermelon milk tea drink soon)
I loveee their drink. I got the colorful fruit and it was so good. I thought the two people behind the counter were very helpful and kind. They are a small quiet little shop and it was an easy quick transaction. I would recommend!!!
I've been to few Mr.Wish locations but this one is my favorite. They are back from Oct-Mar with their winter special drinks. I usually get the Hot Ginger Milk Tea which is yummy. My sister decided to try the Hot Ginger Kumquat tea and it was delicious too! The fruit drinks are good too. One of my favorite places to go for a cool drink in the summer and hot a drink in the winter! I always call up to pre order and the service is always quick. Love this place!
The drinks in this shop are the most similar to Taiwanese tea drinks we found in New York! The quality control is very good, because the boss and his wife take turns to help in the shop every day. The whole team is very nice. This simple and tidy shop is very popular among the residents of Great Neck! We almost come here everyday if we are in the town, we love this tea drinks shop !
Ok, I 'thought' I have had bubble tea in the past... but turns out I never had anything authentic. Having just finished a late lunch, my little guy wanted boba, so Yelp to the rescue and here we are. After today. I can say I've had 'for real' boba. Real fruits. Delicious. The place is small, and hopping. Crowded on a late Sunday afternoon. I was so lost, so confused. Dairy, non-dairy, caffeine or non, smoothies, sodas, oh my! You should go here with someone who knows what they are doing. I had to ask a pack a teenagers behind me what's what. They were happy to share what they knew.
There are so many bubble tea spots in the area. This is one of the better ones. I wouldn't say there is anything amazing about it. My favorite did close. The prices are typical for the area. They really need to update the inside. The furniture is falling apart. The flavors are good but I would prefer to know there would be fruit pieces in my tea. I hate that but that's just my opinion. The drink itself is good.
My husband ordered a hot oolong milk tea with 30% sugar and it tastes like oolong milk tea with rice water. After I called to tell the store that it tastes like rice water instead of milk, they impatiently claimed that it is impossible. Therefore I went to to the store and asked the Mr. Impossible to try the rice water drink to proof that it was a drink that they messed up. Basically they yelled at me and said they've been making the tea for 10 years and it is impossible for them to messed up. Then they questioned if I have ever have a oolong milk tea before. They showed me the milk and even questioned if I've ever tried Lactaid. They even accusing my husband was watching them making the tea and poured the milk. Of course my husband didn't pay attention if they used the milk. They got so aggervated, raising volume, and non stop yelling at me (a paying customer who spent money and got a messed up beverage) I said why don't you try the drink since I brought it back as you claimed it was impossible to mess up the drink. At the end they angrily picked up a few bills from the cashier and slapped it on the counter and asked me to take the money. I said I didn't return for $6, I came for an apology. There was no apologies, only aggressive yelling at customer service, and never admit the drink was bad. I left telling them their service is horrible as I walked out the door hearing them calling me an evil customer. I should have got my refund since I only took one sip of the rice water oolong tea. I will not go back to the store.
Only four stars because they should've been more clear that certain ingredients were missing so they can't make a drink. Besides that part, I liked their service and how speedy they were with making the drinks. They made suggestions on how much sugar and ice to put in the drink so it'll taste great. I also, tried their custard bread shaped like a dog's paw. That was good because it had just enough custard stuffed inside. There's seating inside or you can take it to go. Whatever you prefer?! There's also a restroom for paying customers too.
They have a large selection of milk teas (milk teas, tiger milk teas) and fruit teas/drinks. Sorbets too! You can do black or green tea. Adding topping are a fun must. Bobas, chia, jelly, aloe, sago, pudding, beans and more!!! The Passion fruit green tea was refreshing! Added aloe for a twist. If you want a snack, the little paw shaped waffle cakes were yummy! We got the ones with custard. Sold in a set of 4. Been back twice and wanting to come back again!

Their wow milk tea has this distinctive taste similar to Gong Cha but better imo and my kids really love their custard waffle cake. I love getting their hot milk tea during the cold winter days. The couple (owners) & staff working there are super nice and service is usually quick. I always order through the Uber Eats app for pickup. Parking can be difficult because it is next to a LIRR stop. However, there are metered and some loading spaces nearby. Pricing is consistent with all the other bubble tea spots but Mr. Wish's Taiwanese tea taste is definitely a refreshing change. They also have a variety of exotic fruit teas too. This goes into my top 5 bubble tea places in New York.

I used to come to this Mr Wish when it was located over in Downtown Flushing and was just a very very very very friendly service window in the heart of the bustly of Asian NYC. They would keep my drinks cold for me in the fridge and whip up some of the best stuff imaginable for me, always with the friendliest attitude you can get. Then the high rents, awful NYC policies that crush so many family businesses, and shark-like property owners of Flushing forced them to seek sanctuary outside the City, so they moved outside Queens... but only just outside, to Great Neck, the first town you encounter when you eat East from the Queens borough line. Probably the best Boba shop I've been to in the greater New York City area, and definitely the best on Long Island by a mile. The products are spectacular. and the people running the store are wonderful. Some of the most best Bobapeople I've met. Mr. Wish has some of the best products out there and this is my joint fave location in the whole world, so you have to try it. Though Philly is the epicentre of WishUSA, Great Neck perfects the products and then some. I don't even like fruit tea usually (too chemical-sweet or too lame), but at Mr Wish? I'm all over it. There are just so many amazing things on the menu of Mr. Wish that I don't know where to start. They probably have a larger number of truly excellent drinks than anyone else. They particularly excel at the fruit drinks although their wow milk tea is absolutely WOW as well. Mr Wish standouts: Apple Black Tea, Passion Fruit Fiber Jelly w/Black tea, Orange Grapefruit Fiber Jelly w/Black Tea, Wish Special Fruit Tea, Berry w/Black tea, Wow Milk Tea. Part of the reason their fruity drinks are so good is that they use real fruit and so the taste is just magnificent whether it's the apple or the passion fruit or the mixed fruit or so many others. The Peach and some other drinks are not as good as those amazing choices. My fave location is in Flushing, and it closed down as I said, but has moved to Great Neck and is as spectacular ever. You must try this location (close to Queens, on Long Island) to see why this chain is the gold standard of fruit teas and one of the best boba franchises in the world. You could call me a bubble tea junkie And I know that some Boba tastes funky But Mr Wish is so dreamy That each night you should see me Drinking it while I spank my monkey.
Very interesting bubble tea. The store advertises that it is the #1 bubble tea brand in Taiwan, not sure how true that is but I really enjoyed the passion fruit fiber tea with 50% less sugar: aiyu jelly, chia seeds and lychee jelly, passion fruit tea and passion fruit bits. I also tried the mango layer cake. Both excellent!
We stopped by here while passing through town and ended up getting a wild berries tea, a lychee tea with fresh pulp and an order of original waffle cakes. Drinks were good and priced right along with most bubble tea places and had a good amount of pulp in them. The waffle cakes were nice and warm and moist. I could've eaten another 6 orders. The place was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it though.

My first time coming here they have meter parking in the back if your unable to find parking in the front. Staff is nice, establishment is clean. I decided to order a peach tea with peach pulp 60% sugar, less ice. Took my order right away, didnt have to wait long before my beverage was prepared. It was good should have ordered a large. I will definitely stop by to taste one of there other drinks on the menu. read more

All-Time Favorite! Mr Wish makes my bubble tea dreams come true. Prior to my introduction to this great spot, I would trek to Flushing to get my hands on amazing bubble tea. When a colleague made me try Mr Wish passion fruit bubble tea, I never looked back! The bubble that they serve has the right bounce consistency for me. The staff? Amazing. They misinterpreted my husband's iced matcha cheese macchiato with red bean order a few times but that never deterred me to come back. We There's a huge municipal parking at the back with access to the store. Just be careful because it's not completely cemented. read more

I've ordered here a few times since theyre're different than the typical boba i get. I love and highly recommend the colorful fruit tea and mango slushie are the go-to. Especially on a hot day because they are so refreshing and if you like fruity, theyre perfect for you! The colorful fruit tea comes with a bunch of pieces of fruit in it as well like apple, kiwi, etc. it's like $5 which is typical these days for bbtea. read more

Ordered two regular black milk bubble tea, the bubbles taste fresh and very chewy. 30% sugar is a bit sweet for me, will try no sugar next time. Love love love their waffle cakes, I order all three flavors, regular, red bean and custard. They are all great !! Reminds me of the egg custard cakes we had in Taiwan when we were young. Definitely recommend to try their waffle cakes if you haven't before. read more

Nice bubble tea shop in great neck. Tried usual milk tea a month ago and it was fine. Last week tried a special raspberry or fruity one and it kind of tasted like jello with bubbles. Didn't love it. read more
Pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the drinks at Mr. Wish. My family loves bubble tea so I'm happy to have a neighborhood bubble tea shop. Street parking on Sunday afternoon was available and we entered the shop to find it was very busy, always a good sign. It's a small shop but there's a good amount of seating although not ideal for a large group. Service was friendly, helpful and quick. I ordered a hot Colorful Fruit Tea (30% sugar), the rest of my family ordered a pearl milk tea (30% sugar) strawberry sherbet (60% sugar), and orange grapefruit fiber jelly tea (60% sugar). I thought my 30% sugar sweetness was perfect and the recommendation for the kids was at least 60%. The colorful fruit tea was amazing, refreshing and delicious. There were so many different fruits in the tea that I used the spoon they provided to eat it like a fruit soup. There was apple, pineapple, orange, kiwi, passion fruit, and kumquat. If you love fruit, you will adore this drink. Order it! My son's strawberry sherbet (yogurt based) was my second favorite because I love strawberry and there was a lot of fresh slices of strawberry in the drink. They told us that all drinks are made fresh, all fruits cut for the drink as it's made. Even though 60% sugar, the drink was not overly sweet and did not taste artificial in any way, you know Mr. Wish is using real ingredients. My husband ordered a WOW! Pearl Milk Tea and loves how tender and fresh the bubbles were! The orange & grapefruit fiber jelly tea also so fresh and delicious. Noticed that pets are welcome in the store and they have free WiFi. I want to try their other drinks and will be back! read more
Yummy yummy drinks! Hubby got the pearl milk tea. He said it was really good. Not too sweet. The only thing he said was when he first got the drink it was a tad warm. But after awhile the ice chilled it. I got the colorful fruit tea. It was so good. Nice and sweet. I personally don't like the tiny bits of fruit. I prefer to drink my tea and not have to chew between each sip but it was good and i would definitely order it again! read more

First off when you walk in, the aroma just suckers you in. Omg I was in heaven. I'm obsessed with bubble tea with Sago and so many places do not sell it. So when I found out, Mr.Wish offers sago, I can't get over how excited I was to go try. My sister and I both got the pearl milk tea & I got mine with sago! It was so so so good - I haven't had bubble tea this good in a while and it did not disappoint. I will definitely return to try other flavors. Please go check them out read more
