I grew up eating KFC- have always been a fan of their original recipe chicken, potato wedges and hot wings. This is the only location near me that I've been going to for the last 8 years. The service here isn't great, the food is a hit or miss and the prices has definitely increased significantly while the quality has gone down. Maybe that's why they brought back the potato wedges & hot wings. I got them recently and they were very good, though the wings do have way more batter now so I prefer the flats. Their spicy and has that satisfying crunch but still not as good as Popeyes. The wedges were well-seasoned and crispy, just as good as I remember before they discontinued it in 2020. Will be coming back for more soon before they're gone again :) read more

When you have a craving for fried chicken late at night when you're coming home from an event and don't want to stop at a diner, passing this KFC Drive-thru was like water in an oasis. We had no idea what they had after so many years of not eating fast food. The girl came on the intercom pretty quickly and our order came to us quickly and everything was correct. The chicken and corn were good, but how could I ever have eaten such horrible mashed potatoes? I must say adding the gravy really amped them up, but still, grainy, fake mashed are not my choice. The rating should honestly be negative stars. I know this might sound like a bit of a rant, but this has to be one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. Do you expect top-tier customer service when going to a fast-food place? No, but this was beyond. My brother and I walked into this KFC around 7:05 pm. There were a few people already there, but they all seemed to be waiting for pick-up orders. Although there were several people in front of the cash register, the workers didn't even acknowledge us. Finally, after my brother said, "Excuse me, there are people here waiting to order, not just picking up," they finally noticed the person in front of us. When it was our turn to order, this location didn't honor the current deal for a 6-piece chicken, 12 nuggets, 2 large sides, and 4 biscuits for $27.99. Instead, they offered a $30 meal with 6 pieces of chicken, 6 tenders, 2 large sides, and 4 biscuits. It was odd that they didn't honor the deal advertised online, but we were fine with it. The real issue came when we tried to place our order. Not only did the employee not listen to us, but the way the other employees and the manager handled it was also unprofessional. We ordered Mac & Cheese and Coleslaw as the sides that came with the meal, and an additional small side of corn. However, when the order was punched in, the employee entered Large Mac & Cheese, Large Corn, and an additional Large Mac & Cheese. When we pointed this out to an employee, he asked, "Can you just take it?" This was after we had already waited 10 minutes to order because they assumed we were there for a pick-up. Now they wanted us to accept an order that wasn't correct? We said no, and he went to talk to a person who wasn't doing anything--just standing there watching. Turns out, that person was the manager. She came over to the register and asked what happened. We explained the issue with our order (the Large Mac & Cheese, large Coleslaw, and small side of corn), and she made some adjustments. She asked if I used a card and then asked me to use it again. She said the total would be $4.33, and I asked, "You're charging me more? How does this make sense?" At that point, she gave me a receipt showing a refund of $6.18 (ticket #3536). She then handed us a bag, and the order was still wrong. How many times can you mess up an order? When my brother went back to the counter, the manager just rolled her eyes and asked us to repeat our order. Really? How many times do customers have to repeat themselves? We didn't make a mistake, and now the manager is rolling her eyes at us for their errors? That's unacceptable. read more

Just ordered food after a 7 hour drive home. The Spanish lady that I spoke with gave me an order with 80% of it being wrong. Not to mention, she forgot 2 of my chicken Littles. Kentucky Fried Chicken I'm not sure why this is listed as KFC Delivery - but it is most definitely a Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet. This one is very teeny and if that wasn't bad enough they got the bright idea to add a drive through onto it. The drive through is very tight - you will need to pay attention of you will need a new paint job. Further, getting out of this parking lot is tedious since it is sitting on a major road and you can literally sit there for 10 minutes waiting for a break in traffic. Today is December 3rd 2020 at around 4:40 p.m. I went to my local KFC. I had purchased three pot pies . Sat down to eat them with my family. I've ordered many pot pies in the past and I've always enjoyed them. So what had happened to me has is shocking!!!!. Outside of the crust not really being cooked like it normally is I proceeded anyway on my second mouthful I was chewing on what I perceived to be chicken skin which I never encountered before but this is what I initially thought that it was.after removing what I thought was chicken skin from my mouth and cleaning it off come to realize that it was a finger from a rubber glove. So I headed out the door and back to KFC I started to explain to the manager what I had encountered and I made a comment that what does it matter you didn't make them and she had corrected me and told me that these pies are made there. My response was then it was one of your employees that work here that left a piece of their rubber glove in food that somebody would consume.what comes to mind for me is if a child was eating this they wouldn't have enough sense to stop and possibly could choke to death.I was asked what type of compensation I would like and of course I did not want another pie. So I asked for chicken strips.I guess the same attitude that went to assemble these pies was the same attitude that went into cooking these chicken fingers because when I got home which was not too far away I found that they weren't hot and when I bit into them to find out that they were not fully cooked and very chewy. Really crappy entrance and exit. Really small parking lot and the drive-through is narrow for a location in Long Island. The ones around in Queens is bigger than this one. What really annoys me is the entrance. There's a bunch of speedy a-holes on Glen Cove rd and it doesn't matter if you signal your way into KFC, the jerks behind you always come close to rear ending you because the entrance kinda appears out of nowhere. KFC currently has a $20 family deal which isn't bad. I find their chicken skin to be too salty. I still like their potato wedges and sides but I still prefer Popeyes chicken over KFC any day of the week. read more
