Meal started off good. We enjoyed the roasted brussel sprouts. They were cooked and seasoned well. The portion was good for a sharable item. Overall, the entree portions for the two items that we had were a bit small. I had the pork tenderloin. It was under seasoned and dry. Glad there was pleanty of mustard sauce on the plate. Wilted spinach was overcooked as well. My wife and daughter wanted to split the burger. This is something they have done often in other restaurants. At least they feel like they had a generous helping of fries. They each received half a piece of wilted lettuce and a quater of a red onion. It is hard to believe that this burger was voted "Best in Frisco 2024." The embiance was nice. We had great ecpectations when we were seated and ordered. We cannot complain about our service. It was memorable.

We started with the Brussels sprouts, omg these were fresh, crispy and delish

BEST burger in Frisco, hands down! Run to WB's to get this burger, trust me, you won't be sorry! Bun is toasted and the burger is sooooooooo good!!!

The food is phenomenal! Even the water tasted great. The prime rib is the best prime rib we've ever had. It was just a thick hunk of super tender meat, cooked to a perfect medium. The creme brûlée was very similar to Alton Brown's recipe, which I think is the best creme brûlée. The lamb bolognese had perfectly cooked Al dente noodles. Really just food at its finest. The interior is quaint and we were lucky to go when there weren't a lot of people there. If all the tables were full, I imagine it'd be quite loud in there, but the ambiance was perfect while we were there, even the music they played was great. The only and I mean ONLY complaint I have is when you scan the QR code on the receipt to pay, the auto calculated suggested gratuity is based off of the total, which INCLUDES tax. It's customary to tip based off the subtotal, why on earth would you tip on tax? I have no problem tipping the proper amount, but there is no way I am tipping on tax. Keep an eye out on your bill so you don't fall for that.

Chilled pea soup!!! Amazing flavor, a real taste of spring with velvet texture.

What a line up for Easter brunch! Food was excellent, with some dishes comparable with some of the best I've had anywhere. They adapted their menu so we could do a tasting of many of the great specials they had. This place is a true diamond in the rough. High class food, reasonable prices in a casual setting. A must visit.

This was such a great place with amazing food. It is a culinary delight...seriously! I've eaten all over the world and it was wonderful to find something so simple and good. I highly recommend it.

Any restaurant that is chef owned is a restaurant worth trying. This is fine dining food in a casual environment and casual presentation.

I look forward to getting to use the virtual golf bay sometime, we are just usually on more of a time crunch. The bar makes a great mule. The place has a "hang out" vibe- to me that means tvs to watch, activities while you socialize and have drinks, a well rounded selection of shareable appetizers for if you're just having a few from the bar and playing cornhole. The decor is perfect for the theme and it feels a masculine version of sophisticated and relaxed at the same time.

One day he looked at me and said, "You know what would make me feel better? Let's get a bruschetta at Sixty Vines." Hard to argue with that kind of therapy. I remember when Sixty Vines first opened on the Tollway. The whole wine-on-tap concept and that impressive draft wine cooler were some of the hottest tickets in town. It reminded me of years earlier when cold sake on draft at The Blue Fish on Frankford was something everyone seemed to be talking about. There is always that one new idea that suddenly makes going out feel a little more interesting. For whatever reason, I've only been to Sixty Vines a handful of times over the years. Not because I didn't enjoy it -- it just never became part of my regular rotation. Now my son is changing that. There's something pretty cool about watching a place you remember as new and trendy become a favorite of the next generation. Apparently Sixty Vines still has it. And according to my son, when life isn't going quite right, a good bruschetta there can make things a little better. I'm glad the new generation is giving them some well-deserved recognition. Maybe Dad needs to start listening and visit a little more often.

I used to love this location, which made tonight's experience especially disappointing…read more I placed a takeout order through DoorDash, and the app showed that my order was ready for pickup. I went to the bar, where I've picked up orders before, but the bartender didn't even look up or acknowledge me. I then made eye contact with someone at the register who appeared to be a manager. Before I could even say anything, he put his hands up, shook his head "no," and walked away. Eventually, another gentleman came over and asked for my name. He looked through the three tickets on the rack for quite a while, then came back and told me he didn't see my order and that the kitchen was slow. I explained that DoorDash showed the order as ready for pickup. He said he had told the GM, who also simply walked away toward the back. My order eventually came out, but by that point, the issue wasn't even the wait, it was the complete lack of acknowledgment, communication, and basic customer service. I understand that restaurants get busy and kitchens fall behind. What I don't understand is staff acting as though a customer asking about an order is an inconvenience. The overall level of apathy was honestly pretty shocking and extremely disappointing from a location I used to really enjoy.

There is ample space between tables so you don't feel cramped. There are TVs on the walls but it does not feel like a typical sports bar. The vibe is upscale and the restaurant was very clean. We started with the homemade biscuits and they were excellent. The proceeds go to charity so placing this order was no-brainer. The biscuits were light and airy, not dense at all. The jam and butter were the perfect accompaniment. Those biscuits are winners! Everyone should order and help the charity. I had the spicy chicken and waffles and it was excellent. The chicken was indeed spicy but the honey helped cool me off. The chicken was tender, the waffle was light but could have been hotter. If you order this dish, you will need a glass or two of cold ice water! The wife had shakshura and loved it. She got some toast on the side for dipping. The grits on the bottom were perfectly cooked. Her only complaint was the egg was supposed to be runny and it was firm. The kid had sweet potato pancakes but ended up filling up on the biscuits. Overall, food was 5 star and really enjoyable. The prices are very reasonable. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that our server, who was pleasant enough, was not very efficient. I am not sure what the problem was but her head was in the clouds. We would ask for something, she would say ok, and then she would disappear and forget to bring what we asked for. This happened more than once, more than twice, and maybe three times. It became a running joke at our table, what would the waitress forget this time? Other than spotty service, we liked this restaurant very much and we definitely would return if we are the Star District again.

For lunch, I had the spicy chicken and waffles with a side of goat cheese grits and they did not disappoint. Strong showing - not my favorite local chicken and waffles but a strong entry into the conversation. The grits were cooked to perfection and very flavorful. We started with half a dozen raw oysters and they were fresh and delicious! We also ordered a dozen grilled oysters. They were okay, but nothing spectacular and probably not something we would order again. Hubby ordered the fish special that was on the board that day. I can't remember exactly which fish it was, but he said it was just okay. I ordered the snow crab with Cajun butter and unfortunately this was the biggest disappointment. The crab meat was extremely mushy and the texture was just not good at all. I tried several different legs from the cluster just to make sure it wasn't only one bad piece, but they were all the same, so I couldn't finish it. The corn that came with it also tasted old and had a strange sour taste, so I didn't eat that either. The Dragon Fruit Pineapple Mojito, however, was DELICIOUS! Definitely one of the highlights of the meal and I would absolutely order that again. One thing that was a little strange was the timing. Considering how slow it was when we were there, the food seemed to take a little longer than expected to come out, and my drinks took even longer. Overall, it was a mixed experience for us. The raw oysters and mojito were great, the grilled oysters and fish special were just okay, and unfortunately the snow crab entrée was a definite miss. I'm willing to give Anaya's another try and order something completely different if we happen to be in the area, but based on this visit, I wouldn't make a special trip back just to eat here.
