This is a place that my husband and I will always go! Every time we have company in town, we take them here. The service is great, the food is always amazing, and the overall atmosphere is very inviting (especially when they have music playing). 10/10 recommend the crawfish etoufffee over redfish and jalapeño cheddar grits. He was able to describe and explain certain things on the menu for me. The atmosphere was very inviting. You could dine upscaled attire or even casual comfort. The food was remarkable! I started with oysters on the half-shell which still tasted of the gulf and then I had the ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes. Such a yummy spot! We mistakenly came here thinking it was our dinner reservation and the staff took amazing care of us and we were blown away! Once we got home from dinner and saw emails from our actual reservation (another restaurant in a warehouse) we were stunned. We showed after they closed and with no actual reservation but their team made our anniversary the absolute best. I can't say I've seen customer service like this in a long time! Celebrated wife's birthday here (July 6). The service was incredibly attentive and prompt. We felt very pampered. Everything we ordered was excellent. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes with the Creole Remoulade sauce. The tomatoes were perfect and the sauce was to die for. We then had the hugest wedge salad. So good! Our ribeye steaks were some of the best we've ever had. The taste was amazing. And the asparagus side was some of the best as well. Desert was cheesecake and crème brûlée. Both were excellent. The food was good. Scratch that....spectacularly good! The reviews about the catfish did not lie. It was crispy just like my mommas and the jalapeño grits had the right amount of heat and seasonings. Pretty sure they used chicken broth when cooking the grits for they were flavorful. Finally found a restaurant with excellent service AND food! We got the crab cake's appetizer which was great. I got the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend got the Cajun crawfish. Both 10/10 and tasted fantastic. I wish I could remember our servers name but he was attentive and made sure we had a good experience. I explained that I am extremely allergic to all grains-(NO PROBLEM-only used salt pepper butter to cook filet) baked potato, large (not spindly) fresh asparagus spears! WOW! They also brought a plate of hush puppies, which a little too sweet for my taste. The catfish arrived with 3 shrimp on top, but the cream sauce was bland. Steam brocolli was overcooked almost mush. It was really disappointing. Bugs got all in our food. We were there for a birthday dinner and left with the cake because we were afraid to open it. Paid over $400 for a meal to be ruined. All the staff had to offer was comments like "They are really bad tonight. They aren't usually." But we sure couldn't sit anywhere else.
