Would definitely recommend the Grilled Bone-In Pork Chop, it has a great flavor, the rehydrated cherries are my absolute favorite it goes with it perfectly! The food was great. The service was also great. We got the cauliflower appetizer and it may have been the best cauliflower I've had. My husband and I shared the burger also. Nice wine selection and the bottles were 1/2 off the night we went. If we were local we would definitely re visit. read more

Alex, Chase and Audrey are absolute rock stars. Fine dining in Ruston exists and the experience doesn't get any better than Trio's. ACTUAL Cocktails, incredible bartenders, and delicious dishes. Trio's is now under new ownership and is the go to gourmet spot in Ruston. The atmosphere is elegant but comfortable perfect for a night out. As soon as you walk in you are greeted by incredibly friendly customer service as well as the nicest owner I've met. My date and I enjoyed roasted bone marrow with sourdough, marinated steak skewer, and truffle fries and appetizers. All of which were delicious but the bone marrow is a must try for new guests looking for a true gourmet experience. We got the grilled bone-in pork chop and the pan seared red fish. Our personal favorite being the pork chop with the delicious cherry mostarda. The corn under the pork chop is buttery and peppery and could be its own dish. Finally, to end the night the apple butter cheesecake is a must have. Definitely recommend this to anyone in the area looking for an affordable but gourmet experience. read more

Went with a group of friends. Made a reservation which was quickly confirmed and then they sent a reminder. Both Alex and Chase made us welcome. Our table was already set up. Since this was dinner, we explored the menu and ordered most of the appetizers that we all shared first. You may not believe it, but the fried cauliflower - yes, cauliflower- and the steak skewers were outstanding. The cauliflower had a spicy honey glaze. It was a bit spicy for me (I am a wimp about hot) but everyone else raved about it. The steak skewers were excellent-tender, well spiced. Presentation was beautiful. Our waiter (aviation major) was superior for attention and service. Wish I had been able to get his name. This restaurant has a happy welcoming vibe. The coffee - vodka martini was delicious. This is typical of their specialty drink menu. We really hope that they will offer flights of some of the special drinks. Now on to the main course. My lemon rosemary chicken was so tender and moist and tasted wonderful. The accompanying fried Brussels sprouts were a delightful side. Another superior dish was the fried catfish. They made the fish crunchy but flaky and well seasoned. Ribeyes served with asparagus were perfect. Salmon with the spiced peaches was raved about. I didn't try the desserts but everyone else did. Apparently, the fudge brownie was delicious - nobody shared. This is a welcome addition to the Ruston restaurant scene. Great food, reasonable prices. read more

I was in town for a couple of days and read about Trio's and decided to eat there for dinner. It was absolutely delicious. I had the blackened redfish. My old fashion was also very good. I loved it so much I went with co-workers the next night for dinner. Fried cauliflower and the pork chop were on point. Went back one last time for lunch and enjoyed the redfish tacos and fried cauliflower. This will be my go to every time I'm in Ruston. read more

A group of us came in today after graduation and were able to get a reservation for 7. We arrived a little early but still were seated. Alex was extremely nice and his team was helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, everyone at the table was extremely happy with their meals. The espresso martini and apple pie old fashioned was delicious. I have never had an experience here like I did today. I went with a party of 8 for my birthday/graduation. There were five other parties there when we got there (one being 10+ people) and most were seated after us and all left before we even got our food. He took all of our orders except for one girl who was in the bathroom and did not come back to take her order for over 15 minutes. The restaurant was basically empty. Our waters were empty. Our food took over an hour to come out with 3 steaks way over cooked, a burger without patties and made wrong, and an order of truffle fries missing. The burger was sent back and brought out wrong again. Our checks were brought with wrong charges and it took over 20 minutes to run our checks. He forgot to run a card and left it in the back. An experience that typically would take one hour in an empty Trios took 2+, and we were all itching to leave before we were even brought our checks. I have never experienced this kind of service anywhere, especially at Trios. read more

We sat outside on the nice patio. Was pretty comfortable,for such a hot day. Nice decor. Food took way too long. Had to go in to check on our order. Hamburger was tasty, but overcooked. Club sandwiches were good. Salads were good. It took 4 of us 1-1/2 hours to have lunch. read more

Came here for the first time and was really excited to try their brunch. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was pretty good except for the gravy was very little so half my meal tasted dry. My friend ordered eggs Benedict but because the pork belly had run out, our server offered a substitution which was to get ham instead of pork belly. When the bill came, he was charged one of the most expensive items on the menu which was the crab Benedict. When asked about it, they said they couldn't charge the pork belly Benedict because it had run out so they could only charge the crab Benedict and that they don't offer substitutions. It seems ridiculous to charge the most expensive item for basic Benedicts. Just BEWARE that if you order from here, make sure you don't ask for substitutions or you are very clear on what they will charge you ahead of time because they will try to get the most money out of you. read more

Had the most amazing evening at Trio's with Scarlett our server! Let me say first off, Scarlett is the best waitress/server that we experienced on our visits here at Trio's! No take away from the others from last year but Scarlett was just so down to earth, extremely pleasant, attentive and friendly! My husband and I are from outta town and we just had to visit Trio's for their great food. Scarlett added extras with her sweet personality and her just being genuine. Very pleasant ambiance but food is mediocre. Had a dinner salad, the blackened chicken and andouille pasta with a side of broccolini. Ranch dressing was bland, chicken was dry and overcooked but the sauce was perfect and somewhat made up for it. The broccolini was undercooked and almost raw.
