I've been going to this restaurant for over 40 years and I have never been disappointed in the food or the service. Today they had a new lunch special, mahi tacos and they were amazing! We had a new waitress, Jessica, and she was amazing as well! read more

Warehouse No. 1 Restaurant - Mahi Tacos with grilled pineapple Yum!! - Seafood Near Me - Monroe, Louisiana

The food was horrible. My steak was alive, crawling off my plate and when I tried my burger, it tasted like straight salt and pepper, and they put random stuff on my fries. I didn't ask for a cricket fell on my grandmother from the roof so I would give this place zero stars, but I have to give it a one because that's the lowest I'll go!!! read more

Located in an old warehouse on the Oachita River, Warehouse No. 1 is one of the best fancy 'night out' options you can get in Monroe. Setting: Oachita River bank, parking is available and you can get complimentary valet as well. The interior is rustic and the live music is a nice touch. Service: Our server was kind and happy to make substitutions are we needed. Food: The complimentary hushpuppies were freshly fried and warm, the salad was fresh, and our entrees were near perfect. I wish I could bottle up their creole cream sauce. read more

Great tasting food along with warm southern hospitality. Located in a historic warehouse on the riverbank, warm inviting rustic charms. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious. The duck appetizer was a perfect balance of salty & sweet with a bit of a kick from the pepper. The crab crake was fresh and light. Our hostess Samantha was very attentive and sweet. read more

So the experience wasn't the best, we had a small dinner party but the food took a long time to come out and when I got my gumbo, it was so cold. I was sooo disappointed and the waitress made absolutely no effort to even make the matter any better. The apps were pretty good especially the hush puppies. Stop by and hopefully the experience is much better for you. read more

The food was okay no major complaints on it. The drinks were I will say. Service was not horrible they were sweet for the most part. We had a party of 14 and it was for a birthday. They sat us in a weird back closet space of the restaurant. There was a really bad cold draft from the door... read more

Warehouse No. 1 is hands down one of the best seafood spots I've visited! We started with the hush puppies, and they were the perfect kick-off--crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. Pro tip: ask for a side of ranch. It takes them to the next level! For the main course, I had the redfish, and it was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and served with sides that complimented it beautifully. If you're not sure what to order, make the redfish your go-to--it's a must-try! The atmosphere is charming, the service was great, and the food speaks for itself. Can't wait to come back! read more

Food here is great. Feels like your eating at your mom's / grandmother's at-home food. Definitely order the cheese grits.

The food, service, and ambiance are always on point. Always friendly staff and the food is always hot and fresh!!!

Upon walking in, I was greeted with exceptional professionalism and sat right away. I was able to be seated on the deck outside which was nice with a river view. The music was at a very nice level. The server was very friendly and came right away and took my order. She brought me complimentary quickly. The hush puppies were some of the best that I have had in a very long time. I ordered the Eggplant Pontchartrain. It was excellent and the portion was very large. I was very full after finishing the meal. (I did think the price was a bit high when I saw it on the menu but after getting the meal, I thought it was appropriate. I tend to be a little critical about my food and how I like it and if it is cooked properly but I thought my experience was excellent from start to finish. read more

My husband and I were traveling through Monroe to another destination but decided to spend the night and catch some dinner. We decided to eat here on a recommendation from a family member who use to live in the area. The food did not disappoint. They brought us out some jalapeño hush puppies to munch on with our chicken sausage gumbo. I am not a fan of jalapeños but my husband can't get enough. We both had the chicken sausage gumbo because who comes to Louisiana and doesn't eat gumbo. The roux was dark brown and just the right amount of creamy thickness, chunks of tender chicken and sausage. This gumbo had some okra in it, which I was happy to see because we love okra in our gumbo. I had the fried catfish and the breading nice and crispy and not too thick. I decided to have a baked potato with mine and it was loaded with all the goodies. My husband had the blackened catfish and he said it was as good as any he has ever had and he has had plenty. He ordered the asparagus which was crunchy and crisp. We both split the bread pudding on a recommendation from our server. It was a little too sweet for me but husband really enjoyed his. If you are ever in the area, stop in, you will not be disappointed. Ask for Kaylee as your server. She will take care of you. read more

Warehouse No. 1 Restaurant - We had the crab stuffed flounder on a bed of shrimp jambalaya! It was a lot of food and very good! - Seafood Near Me - Monroe, Louisiana

Loved almost everything here! We had the Hushpuppies, duck wraps, Salmon Picatta Special for the night, and Catfish Sierra. It was all delicious! We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the view from our seat was beautiful! We loved the live piano! The only issue we had with our dining experience was unfortunately the service. It started off well, but after we received our first drinks from the bar and the food runner brought out our meal, our waiter NEVER returned to our table. He never came by to check on us, make sure everything came out fine, or ask us if we wanted a refill from the bar. I was hoping for a second glass of wine, never got it. He wasn't rude, but he also wasn't very present. So, while our overall experience with the restaurant was wonderful, our service was disappointing. We are very easy going and do not require a lot of attention. But it was lacking. We will go back, hopefully with a little better luck on the service. read more

This is our second time eating here as we pass through town heading back home to Colorado. Great food and great service set in a hundred year old Warehouse on the Ouachita River. Ducks wraps were very tasty. Filet was flavorful and the Redfish Louisiane was excellent. Hush puppies were light, not greasy, with balanced flavors. "The best I've ever had" says my husband. Nice place w/good food, too bad they ran us off tonight. I have never seen so many people waiting to be seated (40-50 at least). God help you if you didn't have a reservation. Had a 6:30 pm reservation and arrived at 6:20. After waiting around 15 minutes, I asked how long the wait was and they said 30-45 minutes (with a reservation!) At 6:55 my wife said no more and we left. At that time there was barely any place for any new customer to stand at the entrance door. There were telling new customers that the wait would be a "few" minutes. Good thing the fire marshal didn't decide to drop in. I wonder if they exceeded the maximum capacity tonight due to all the waiting customers. Was there to celebrate a birthday. Too bad that didn't work out. Get better! read more

I was in Monroe for a quick business trip and found this restaurant on Yelp. All I have to say is that this place is truly a gem in this town! It's located on a river and has a beautiful outdoor area. The restaurant itself is an old converted warehouse with many of its original structural pieces in place. It was absolutely gorgeous inside. I was dining alone so I had no issues getting seated, but if you are with a larger party I would suggest reservations. It was very busy for a weekday evening. The waitress and hostess were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered way more than my stomach could handle, but everything on the menu sounded so good! The fried green tomatoes were perfectly seasoned and had a perfect tomato to breading ratio. The grilled shrimp and asparagus were also fantastic and came with some sort of Mango salsa that blew my mind. Even the hush puppies that were brought to the table like a bread basket were perfect. Seriously the best hush puppies I've ever had and I've grown up in the south! If I ever get a chance to come Back into Monroe, I will definitely be back. I just wish I had more stomach real estate to enjoy more while I was in town! read more

Great food for Monroe area. Steaks are always top notch and they have a nice excellent shrimp cocktail. Service is top notch. Sara Jean is an amazing server. Now food is a little pricey for what you're getting. And beer and cocktails ARE WAY OVER PRICED!! $6.75 for a bottle of beer?! Import or not! $6.75 really? I highly recommend this place.
