I tried it tonight on the suggestion of a friend. It was an excellent suggestion. The restaurant has an upscale cozy feel which is very nice. The waiter was very attentive and the service was perfect. The steaks were both an exactly medium rare as requested and well seasoned. Both sides were perfectly cooked, and the salted Carmel cheese cake was the perfect finish. Love this restaurant, but very disappointed that they wouldn't let me substitute something else in place of the salad with the cyclosporias outbreak. Until we know what's going on, I am not comfortable eating salads. These restaurants should give u an option. Will not be eating there for a while. read more

Date night!!! This place was so beautiful and the vibe was immaculate. Our server was so friendly and sweet. The whole staff was. Very courteous and everything came out super fast. Overall, super nice! We came here for a girls night and the food and drinks were very yummy! I am normally not a big drink girl at dinner because I find them too strong, but the French 75 was perfect! The only negative part of our experience is that they ran out of a lot of the dishes we had tried to order, but the staff was super friendly and helped us around the menu. They were very accommodating and the food was very good! This place is definitely more on the fancy side and would be perfect for a date night! We even got free champagne ! Customer service was good. Food overpriced. Ordered French cut pork chop with burgundy mushrooms. The cream potatoes were bland. I ordered a Lemon drop, the worst I ever had. It was very bitter. They only had one Tomahawk steak. Put in mind this was on a Saturday evening. When they brought the Tomahawk steak out, they had already cut it completely off the bone. If there was a zero star option; I would select it! My colleagues and I visited this establishment on December 6, 2025 for a Christmas celebration dinner. Some individuals in my party ordered steaks medium rare which were not cooked properly. When the steaks were sent to the chef to be warmed a bit more, they were returned charred! The chef came to our table personally to inform us that the accomplishment of achieving a "medium rare" steak is an impossible task. Steak lovers beware!! Might as well have an extra drink; you'll be sober by the time you get the check anyway. Pass. Go somewhere with better food for better prices and you won't miss anything here. Had this at a 3 star. My friend wanted to take me to dinner for my birthday. I wanted to try Monroe's as I'd never been. The food wasn't great, but I would've considered coming back for the ambiance. My friend paid for hers, mine and her husband's to go dinner on her ticket. I paid for my drink and the tip for the table on my ticket. Everything was nice until we got ready to leave. We were approached outside of the restaurant by a waitress (not even our waitress) inquiring about the reason we didn't "leave a tip"; she said we'd written a tip and scratched it out on our ticket, completely untrue. I went back into the restaurant, requested our tickets and explained that the tip was left on my ticket to the manager. As the manager and I were talking, the waitress was interrupting, still trying to plead her case! The manager advised she didn't know we were followed and that it would be addressed with the waitress. I've never experienced such level of unprofessionalism in my life. Needless to say, I will NEVER patronize this restaurant again. Birthday dinner ruined. read more
