It has a vibe that reminds me of a cool place that doesn't need to try to be cool. The service was solid and we got to meet the owner and she had to be one of the coolest I've met. She chatted with us much of the night and all I can say is this is the place to be. I'll come back every time and this is my new go to in town. The shrimp Poboy featured 6 huge shrimp! I loved it! It was lightly seasoned and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and juicy. My wife's gumbo was very peppery, she knew that it would be from previous visits and she wasn't disappointed. She told me she would be able to eat only one or two spoonfuls at a time before taking a drink. But she ate the whole bowl! The decor is vintage. There are all kinds of Budweiser mobiles and pub mirrors on the walls. There was even a vintage cigarette vending machine with pull knobs for each selection! Instead of consuming the drink, I placed the drink in my freezer so I could return it the next day. Today on 02/11 at 6:30 pm I returned the drink and asked for a remake. The cashier working informed me that they do not remake drinks or refund. I asked her to look at the full cup that I returned and instead she argued with me saying that I added ice to the cup. when I froze the cup multiple ice chunks froze in the drink. Anyone who drinks alcohol know it does not freeze, this is proof in my opinion of the lack of alcohol in these drink. I repeatedly asked her to just take the cup back and throw it away since she did not want to offer any replacement. I've come to this establishment for several years, but I will not be back.
