My name is Angela Allen I was there May 15, 2026. I'm from California. We went here after my…read moregrandson graduated. This was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. They were rude. They don't know how to serve a big crowd. They brought our plate out one at a time after we waited two hours, and of course the food was cold. I think it was about 20 of us about seven people didn't even get their food So if you from California, this is not a restaurant to go to especially if it's a lot of you maybe they used to serving 2 to 3 people at a time so if you're from California don't go like I said specially if it's a lot of you services bad and like I said they're rude

I had the lasagna and my coworker had the lobster ravioli. Both of these items were really good. The salad was really good. Unfortunately, the minestrone soup was not the best. Maybe it was just because I was not used to the none tomato based style of the soup but everything else was really really good. The service was great. The young lady that helped us was very nice and answered all of our questions and the actual style and layout of the restaurant is very rustic, very quaint, very modern, but friendly and family oriented. I'll be back.

The shrimp and sausage appetizer was another standout, with both cooked well and tasting great. We also tried the smoked salmon, which was fresh and delicious. For the main course, I had the ribeye topped with their house sauce. It reminded me of a house-made version of A1 steak sauce--rich, tangy, and a great complement to the steak. The sides were just as enjoyable. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, but the grits were the real surprise. They were outstanding and easily my favorite side of the meal. Overall, the food was well-prepared, flavorful, and enjoyable from start to finish. If you're looking for a quality steakhouse with excellent appetizers and delicious sides, Okaloosa is definitely worth a visit.
