The woodfire pizzas are so good here; however in my opinion the lunch handhelds are even better. The ingredients feel very fresh and the cheese is melty. The staff is always very friendly and will provide suggestions when ordering. Sit at the bar and enjoy food and drinks and watch some sports. I do like that inside one of the TV shoes local events that are happening. The outside area is enclosed which is great for the kids running around. They have a covered patio and other picnic benches in the yard. There is an outdoor stage which happened to be utilized by two guys who were doing kinda a bluesy country show - they were great. Inside has ac but outside is fun (minus the ever annoying Monroe flies). I don't often say this about pizza but this was crave worthy. The fig jam and procuto was soo good with the charged from the wood fire. The only thing that was a bummer is we couldn't do a half and half pizza since the sauces were different. We ended up having to get two different pizzas and we'll we had left overs for days...which is why I like the lunch handhelds they are smaller - wish these were served all day. I think this is the best pizza spot in Monroe.

One of our favorite places to go for a beer! A little disappointed on this visit that they didn't have a sour available or Doux Drop. My husband had the Burma Blonde and I had the compassion lemon drop cocktail (a special for charity). Both were great. The Victory bread was wonderful as usual. The meatballs were tasty but my husband thought they had too much of a fennel flavor for his taste. The mushroom maverick pizza was amazing! We added sausage to it. We didn't get the kale Caesar salad this visit but it's a favorite. Also the Twin City pizza is one of our favorites as well. They often have live music and when the weather is nice it's great to sit in the outdoor area.

General Claire! Delicious!

What a treat! Best pizza in Monroe, hands-down. I had the General Claire, prosciutto, lemon, fig, jam, goat cheese, and topped with arugula. Amazing flavors and the crust was out of this world. I had their Monroe logger, which was very light and refreshing. And the live music was incredible. This guy was very talented. Hope I get an opportunity to go back before I leave town. Loved my entire experience.

Love this place. I travel to Monroe on occasion for work. I always try to stop in the Flying Tiger. Love their Jucee IPA and they have awesome pizza. Always a friendly staff. They have a big outdoor area too that's dog friendly. Great spot. Check it out.

I have only been waiting 5 years to come and visit my parents and check this place out. I'm so glad I did! The interior is wide open and spacious. They have bar seating as well as some couches to get comfortable. Their outdoor area looked very cute also! They are dog friendly inside and out. The reason for the 4 stars was the beer selection. A lot of options had been marked off the menu. Maybe I just came at a bad time! I will come again. The staff was super helpful!

Super cool indoor local graphic designer's work and neato airplane wall art!

Fun place, even solo. I came here after a wedding while I was visiting. The bartender, I think her name was Kate, was really friendly. So was the guy, but he wasn' t initially there when I arrived so didn't get his name. They don't have food but allow you to bring in food from where ever. Chill atmosphere. Nice outdoor area to hang out with your friends. I was 50/50 on their beers. Didn't like their Hazy (which I think is a fan favorite), but did enjoy the blonde and their bock was outstanding!

Great brews and their new Victory Pizza is great! Can't wait to go back and try the other pizza varieties. (Bring back the Tripel Beer!)

It looks like every pizza is burnt. Not much flavor either. The service was also terrible.

That was a great first impression. And then our server greeted us by asking which of us was celebrating her birthday. I'll assume that was a brainfart or a failure to read the reservation notes, but I wondered briefly whether he assumed two women dining together wouldn't be celebrating an anniversary. We started with drinks; she had a 1988 (a variation on a French Blond, but named as a tribute to the year the Women's Business Ownership Act allowed the owner to go into business for herself) and I had a Royal Navy (a zero-proof cocktail with delicious herbal and citrus flavors). They were both outstanding. The cheese board, listed as the chef's selection of 4 cheeses and housemade crostini, also included a cube of guava jelly as lagniappe. The kitchen sent it out without crostini, and our server (not one of their regular servers, I guessed) didn't tell us what any of the cheeses were. This baffled me; when we ordered it the server actually explained what 'crostinis' (sic) meant, as if we were unfamiliar with the term. Whatever they were, they were tasty, and lucky for us none was soft enough to need a platform. My wife says her jumbo shrimp skewers were great and she loved the chimichurri enough to take it home for later. My market salad ("local lettuce mix, rotating summer veg & dressing") was a perfect example of quality over quantity: pecans, crumbled cheese, fresh berries, and raspberry vinaigrette on leaf lettuce. Eight beautiful, tender pieces of lettuce. So I certainly had room for dessert. And the dessert was a real treat: a three-inch peach caramel tart, an anniversary gift to us. We enjoyed it and had an enlightening conversation with the charming GM, who confirmed my suspicions that the uneven experience was a result of another staff member stepping in to cover for a server. If Apero fits your budget once in a while, give it a try. They're likely to delight you. (But if you're used to larger portions, you might want to have a bit of a snack first.)
