Dip manicure (not pictured regular pedicure) $88 total
Rachel D.

I don't know why this place doesn't have a higher rating. I'm new to the neighborhood and ran here to get a mani/pedi in a pinch. I was almost 30 min late to my appointment (I'm sorry again) and they still accommodated me and were so nice. I got a regular polish pedi and dip nails. Not a huge dip color selection, but they at least have all the basics covered. The lady who gave me a pedicure used a scrub I really liked and took her time giving me a nice foot and calf massage, even with my basic pedi. It's rare people do that these days. I was also very pleased with the mani. The lady doing my nails was very careful with the little sanders, not to nick the skin. I also appreciated that she would thoroughly dust my hands off after sanding. The salon seemed really clean and I enjoyed my massage chair. I will be back!!! Thrilled to have discovered this gem 5 mins from my house!

This is my family's favorite place to get nails done. I always get pretty nails when I go there

Acrylic nails still left on

I'm so upset after coming here! Don't recommend!!! The only reason I gave this place two stars and not one is because I came here with my grandma and the lady that helped her was nice. My grandmother got her toes and nails done (only cut and put top coat) and I decided to get my acrylics off and it was a bug mistake! They left some of it on two of my fingers and she destroyed on of my pinky and I'm still in pain. She told me $15 and I said even after she ripped my nail and left some of it on my nails and she smiled and said yes! In total it was $53

Absolutely LOVE my new nails by VY

Absolutely thrilled with my nails done by Vy at Walnut Creek Nails & Tan ...always the best..and my pedicure too! Been going there for years..just like family!

I used to love this place, my first experiences were great and even brought family members with me when I returned. However, I'm very disappointed in the work they did today. I've always gotten a pedicure and they last a while which is why I like coming here. However, I got a manicure for the first time today and they left gel on my skin and around my cuticle. They left SO MUCH space between my cuticle and the gel. The photos on other reviews look great and nothing like the work they did on me today.

They were amazing! Super nice and I feel like a brand new woman. Vy, Lucy, & Neigh are the awesome. And if you want designs Neigh got you!

This was my first time here and they were excellent! Had my chair ready and waiting for me at my appointment time, gave a wonderful long massage on my arms and legs (lo Mgt then most places) had a TON of colors to choose from (gel, regular and dip) and did a great job on my nails and they lasted so long! On top of it the staff was so friendly. I will for sure be back

I booked a pedicure here. I was told over the phone it was $50 for a regular pedicure. When I…read morearrived I was handed a menu and they it didn't list basic pedicure, instead it had options such as "lavender pedicure," which I chose for $60. I also asked for a set of nails. I already had acrylics on which the nail artist ended up removing. I was surprised that the removal of the acrylic nails was painless. Five stars for not popping my nails off! The nail artist who did my pedicure was kind. Her massage was good. I couldn't really tell I had a lavender pedicure I just saw some purple scrub being applied to me which is okay. The set of nails they put on me were called Gel X for $65 a set. The nails took much quicker time to place than an acrylic set. After a week and half about three came off which is good because I have kids my hands are always in the water for dishes, or for cleaning so they held up well. When I went back in to have them fixed I was told over the phone I would need a new set. The other seven nails left on me were attached very well. I was wandering how much it was going to hurt to have them taken off. Luckily, they didn't remove them and in fact filled them for me! I appreciate this. No pain! I love my Gel X nails. They are perfect. This has become my go to place. Only thing I would recommend is to ask for a punch card if it's your first time here when checking out. I was given one the second time because I believe they didn't remember to give me one the first time. I haven't used the card, but I think it's got some kind of freebie or discount once your punches are filled up. I also like this place because they ask if you want a massage after a Gel X set.

I really wanted to love this place because the designs are beautiful and the atmosphere is nice,…read morebut this is the second time I've spent over $200 on a set with a pedicure and had nails break or pop off before (or right at) the one-week mark. At that price point, that's just not acceptable. Both times, I could tell they were taking on too many walk-ins and the work felt rushed. I completely understand wanting to accommodate customers, but rushing through services affects quality. When nails aren't prepped or applied properly, they don't last..and that's exactly what's happening. To be fair, when my Disney set (pictured) broke like a day or two after having them done...they were very kind and redid the set free of charge, and I truly appreciated that. However, I don't want to have to keep coming back to fix issues. I spend a lot of money here, and I also don't want to spend more time in the nail shop than necessary because a set didn't last. For the amount being charged, clients should be able to expect durability. I think the salon would benefit from slowing down, limiting how many appointments are taken at once, and investing more time in proper technique and training to ensure sets actually last. I really did like this place at first, which makes this disappointing. But the quality doesn't match the price, I unfortunately have to start going elsewhere.
