I extremely appreciate the cleanliness of the products used here and of the Salon. The tools are all brand new, products are non-toxic, and organic. I've never had any kind of skin irritation here which I have at other places. If you value the health and quality of your Nails, then this is the place for you. They genuinely care about the result.. Did I mention the nails are always fire too. I received a gel manicure from Hanna with one hand nails bubbling up. I came back and Kimmy fixed it. While I was on a time crunch since I had a vacation to go to I appreciated her fixing it. The next day the other hand done by Hanna the entire gel polish came off of one nail with another finger happening thereafter. I came back from vacation, again I was annoyed but really wanted to give the salon a second chance because accidents happen but ... I came back and Kimmy had a new nail lady named Mandy fix my nails. Kimmy was going to fixed the nails originally but she moved Mandy to me because the other client complained. I had to correct Mandy multiple times at the end, you could tell the tip of my nails were messed up. I flagged it to Kimmy and she told me to come back at 6. I had been there for 3 hours ?! She asked me what I wanted to do and I told her to just give me a refund. She gave me $50. I think if you have Kimmy or one of her veteran nail techs do your nails you should be okay but she has a few nail techs that you can tell aren't that great. Kimmy should prequalify them and not put customers through this?! One of the other nail employees told me I was the 6th person that had come in with their gel coming off. I've done my nails for 20 years and this has never happen?!

The thing that really disappointed me was my manicure didn't even last 2 days and was already chipping. I usually expect this a week after a manicure but 2 days later?! The pedicures, mainly gel ones LAST 3+ weeks. It's probably their top and base because I've brought in my own gel (LeChat) and the results were the same. (I do avoid using DND/Daisy since I'm not a fan of them.) They also cut my nails as short as I request them to and VERY SHORT. Massages sometimes can be hit or miss since I need a firm, deep tissue. But I will say the consistency of having pedicures that can last forever is great! Don't change Kevin and Team! My only cons are that they don't do Russian/dry manicures as a normal mani treatment. Prices are a little high, but that's typical Diablo Valley prices. Oakland/Berkeley/Alameda are around 10-15% cheaper.

Pedicure issue: I asked for a square French tip. I explicitly stated this before my toenails were cut. Despite that, the technician cut my toenails into a shape that made a square tip impossible without acrylic. This was acknowledged as a mistake by the technician herself. I reasonably asked that acrylic be added at no extra charge, since the issue was created by the salon. This turned into unnecessary back-and-forth and delay. Manicure issue: I was then moved to another station for my hands. Again, I showed reference photos multiple times and clearly asked for a medium-length, narrow almond shape (sharper tip, not stiletto, not short). I repeatedly said I did not want short nails. Despite this, my nails were shaped into very short, triangular tips that looked nothing like the reference photos. I stopped the service because it was clearly not going in the right direction. Time & service failure: After nearly 3 hours, I had: * No completed pedicure * No completed manicure This was extremely frustrating, especially given the appointment time and the fact that I was very clear and patient throughout. Pricing concern: I also questioned a $20 upcharge for gold foil on all 10 fingers (a material that costs only a few dollars for a large quantity). The pricing felt excessive and unjustified, especially considering the service issues. Bottom line: This salon was unable to execute very basic requests (square French tip pedicure, almond-shaped manicure) despite clear communication and reference photos. The experience was disorganized, time-consuming, and disappointing. I relied on Google reviews to choose this salon and unfortunately felt misled by them. I would not return, and I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for precise shaping, consistency, or respect for their time.
