Angel took care of my gel manicure and it turned out to be so cute!! She was able to do the design I wanted on my real nails as well. Dropped in for a gel manicure after seeing such wonderful reviews online and really admired the work they do! I hadn't realized until I was outside in natural lighting that some of my nails had a couple of spots that were lighter than others (likely due to the color I chose) and they said 'come back on in and we'll do another layer!' They fixed it perfectly and I'm so happy with how they turned out! The owner was also so kind to give me a little cuticle oil gift as well. The salon was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere, which made the whole visit feel like a treat. My nail technician took their time and paid attention to every detail. My manicure came out perfectly shaped and polished, and my pedicure was just as great. The massage was so relaxing and they really did not rush through the service. I'm new to the area and looking for a good nail salon. My husband, his friend, and I came in for pedicures and I got a gel manicure too. The pedicure was sub par but nothing to go back and fix. The gel manicure however started peeling after an hour and twenty minutes. I went back and they took it off and initially tried to give a partial refund but I asked for the full amount (still lost tip but whatever). The technique was completely wrong and why this barely lasted. The most amount of nail prep she did prior to applying the gel paint was buffing. You need to have a drill to get good traction on your nail to the gel to get it to adhere correctly and they tried to blame it on the uv light. Also the application was really bad, I left feeling not great about it to start because it was lumpy and uneven where some parts didn't cover the whole nail and other parts were on skin. Nail shape was uneven and she didn't file to clean up gel ends after either. It was over all an unprofessional job and I won't be returning. I'm giving 2 stars because they were kind when I came back and refunded my money after taking the remaining gel off. read more
