This place is very nice, but the owner, Eric, is extremely rude; he hangs up the phone on you before the conversation is finished and leaves you talking to yourself. They don't even offer you water--and this is in the middle of summer! I didn't like it at all, and I won't be coming back; I simply don't appreciate that kind of customer service. Right across the street, there is another place where you don't even need an appointment; they are incredibly attentive, open from Tuesday through Sunday, and welcome you with water and a juice of your choice. There is also another spot located in the Monument Shopping Center, right next to Food Max. It is absolutely fantastic--they do a wonderful, long-lasting job on your feet. After the first few visits, they already remembered my name which I think is really nice and shows that they pay attention to their returning clients. Recently, I came in for a dip powder manicure. Hanh was my nail tech and she did an amazing job. She was very meticulous and kept checking in with me during every step. The length and shape were exactly what I wanted. I wasn't going to add chrome but I felt like the color needed something a little extra, so she added it and the results were perfect. Amazing experience! Yuni and Katie were wonderful. I made an appt on Thursday for a Saturday morning appt. Originally asked for a gel mani/pedi for me and just a regular pedi for my mom. But my mom ended up changing her mind, day of, and they were able to accommodate her for a gel mani as well. As a fellow small business owner, I really appreciate how hands-on he is. I've seen him here daily, and you can feel the care and sacrifice it takes to run a great local business. Service is consistently excellent. I come for dip powder manicures and gel pedicures, and no matter who I'm booked with, the work is meticulous. They've got brand-new pedicure chairs, everyone is friendly, and appointments actually start on time (rare!). If I arrive early, they'll begin the soak-off right away, which is super efficient. They also have a ton of colors to choose from. Although I am a neutral girly, their selection is huge and you can really find whatever color you're looking for. It lasts twice as long, and WAY healthier for your nails! I go 3-4 weeks between appts and my nails have never been so strong (and long!) since I started doing Dip. Not every nail salon knows how to do it correctly, and can look too thick, but Puffin Nails everyone there is great at it! I will never go back to Gel!! I see Lily for dip, who I absolutely love! She's amazing! And Cindy sometimes, and others also, they are all great at it and do an exceptional job! Eric, the owner is so nice! Accommodating and great customer service! The salon is super cute, and has a very friendly vibe. I usually do my own pedi at home, but they recently updated their pedi stations/chairs, and had to try... they are awesome!
