Not sure where that place went They did take me at my appointment time both of these recent visits. These chairs are not comfortable- and are temperamental. My tech didn't know about the chair's operation I had a different tech both times- both were consistently quick and impersonal. I don't need a long conversation, but maybe tell me your name Neither of them painted the whole entire nail or covered the end/tip My feet feel rough and I would be hard pressed to convince someone I just had a pedicure. My time in the chair was 30 minutes- but my back/hip was killing me from the discomfort. I rarely leave negative reviews because I understand everyone can have an off day, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was worth sharing. I had been here before for a pedicure and loved it, so I came back excited to get a gel manicure. I walked in expecting the same level of service, but instead I left wanting to get out of the salon as quickly as possible. I showed an inspiration photo with nail art. Had I been told from the beginning that there wasn't enough time or that only certain technicians could do the design, I would have gladly chosen something simpler. Instead, I felt rushed and like my appointment was an inconvenience. During the removal of my previous gel polish, the drill became extremely hot on my natural nails. I trusted that the technician knew what he was doing, but my nails are now noticeably thinner than before. Throughout the appointment, my hands were handled roughly, and my concerns were dismissed. To top it off, my thumb has been sore since the appointment, and I believe the way my nail was cut and filed contributed to an ingrown nail! I eventually told the tech to forget the design because the appointment already felt rushed and I no longer felt comfortable moving forward with the design. I settled for a basic French manicure, yet the finished result still has visible bubbles throughout the polish, uneven application, and does not reflect the quality I expected from a suppose "professional" salon. The biggest disappointment wasn't just the manicure, it was the overall experience. I walked in excited and left feeling like I had inconvenienced someone simply by booking an appointment. No customer should feel rushed, unwelcome, or like they are a burden for requesting a service your salon offers. The focus was more on completing the service and collecting payment than on making sure the client felt comfortable, respected, and confident with the result. People come to salons expecting more than just a service, they expect professionalism, care, and an experience that makes them feel good. They were very accommodating and it was one of the most thorough pedicures I've had. They ladies were so fun to hangout with as well. I wanted to try a nail salon nearby, so I decided to check this place out. I walked in around 1 PM on a Thursday for an acrylic full set and was seated within five minutes. I showed the nail technician a photo of the design I wanted--a short French tip with some nail art--and the service took about an hour and a half (I'm used to it taking an hour). When it came time to pay, my nail technician and three other employees stood together looking at my nails and discussing how much to charge me. Eventually, I was told the total was $95! While the staff were all very friendly and did take the time to break down the pricing for me, I was genuinely shocked. They charge separately for the base set, the acrylic tips, and each individual design, which quickly adds up. For comparison, the nail salon I usually go to would've charged about $75 AT MOST for a short set like this. While I'm sure the pricing is typical for the area and may not be a concern for others, it just felt too overpriced for me. I most likely won't be returning and will go back to making the drive to my usual nail salon in Pittsburg instead. read more

Perfection Mimi is the best nail tech and she has been doing my nails for years now. She is extremely talented, creative and gentle. She knows exactly what she is doing regardless it is chrome nails, cat eyes, nails with specific designs. It is always easy to make appointments with her and her schedule is always flexible. Everyone is friendly and even though they never met me before. They greeted and smiled. This is a fairly new location they just moved to. They are putting everything together. I love the vibe, it is spacious and it makes me feel safe. There are plenty of parking spots right outside the studio. They offer discount if you pay cash. But they do take cards as well. AGAIN , only him , not like the owner states that the whole team helped me . The whole team was serving other customers. For next few days my earphones were moving to the different locations , but guess what ? No one returned them to me . Got new model that same day , so whoever is using them can keep them . I had already gotten my nails done, tap gel at my usual place in Pleasant Hill, which never overcharges individuals, even given the fact that it's a high-end area and there are a lot of wealthy people in the area by myself. I'm not really wealthy. It doesn't matter. No one should be really overcharged. I already had a base set on. I just wanted to change my color. I come in thinking maybe I'll spend 15 to 20 bucks I was charged $41 just for a gel color change. Nothing else was done besides file off the old color and then put the new one on. I really love the color. I really love the quality of their gel painting that they did, but I don't think it's worth $41 and it asked for a tip and I was like absolutely not. Your tip is in your overpriced charging! originally I wanted to come to a new nail shop that was closer to my new house and I was enthusiastic about coming in for a pedicure and a gel Mani two weeks from today now I need to cancel cus it will probably be 350$ for that. I will start this off by saying that I really wanted to like this nail salon. However after multiple mishaps on numerous occasions, I just cannot say nothing. The very first time there, they switched workers on me. I had someone start the removal of my gel x nails then they had me switch to someone else who could do the builder gel for my manicure. The second time there I had made an appointment through their website to have Mimi and Moon do my pedicure and manicure. When I got to the place Moon was able to do my toes but however had someone else do my nails because Mimi had two appointments for that time. She took the other woman, even though I had arrived to the salon before her. I would have been okay with them letting me know about the mishap but nothing was said. Today, I had made an appointment for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, they took 30 minutes before they even started on my nails. At first when it was my appointment time they had me seated to start my fingers but then kept moving me around. Finally, they decided to do my manicure first. However, when they started doing my nails two girl had walked in for their builder gel appointments. Then they kicked me out of my chair to have someone do my toes instead because only certain worker know how to properly do a builder gel fill. So not only did I have to wait 30 minutes after my appointment time to get my nails done. I wasn't even able to get my manicure because they didn't plan out their appointments accordingly. When I was paying they asked me if I could come back later that day or make an appointment for tomorrow, which is annoying because I had time today and HAD MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR TODAY. This is not the first time they have demonstrated poor time management when it comes to their appointment. read more
