The staff is all very nice, you don't feel rushed, and the quality is great. There's lots of parking and plenty to do around the area. I don't live in Concord but when I'm there and have a couple hours free, I'd love to go back. read more

I've been coming to V Nails for over a year now. Kelly always does my nails and does a wonderful job! I do the dip mani and always show her a couple of options of nail art that i want and she nails it every time. She hasn't let me down yet. I decided to give this place a try based on the reviews and I have to say it did not disappoint. I made an appointment and came in during a quiet early afternoon. Kelly helped me, she was welcoming and friendly. I went in for a gel manicure but after talking with Kelly she suggested a nail dip for my nails recovering from acrylics for the past 2 years. It has been almost a week and my nails look great! I wanted to wait to write the review to make sure the nails didn't chip after writing a recommendation. I have visited some of the other nail salons in the area and I have to give the recommendation to this one. ***2.5 Stars*** Cute salon but I wasn't really impressed as a whole. It's been a while since I've gotten my monster claws done. Not sure why it took me so long to get back into the groove of things, but my hands and feet look a lot better than they've been looking lately. Unfortunately, I had to part ways with the previous nail salon that I was going to because the quality just went way downhill. Since then, I've been on the lookout for a new nail salon. I saw V Nail Spa when it popped up on my Yelp feed. It's located off of Clayton road and is kind of hidden in the TJ Maxx shopping center. When I walked in, there was only one other lady getting her nails done. The pedicurist got my salon chair ready and took me in right away. The pedicurist was super friendly and massage chair was very relaxing. The interior was really clean and bright. Apparently, this salon has been around for a while but has recently changed ownership. The pedicurist began on my pedicure first while I waited for the manicurist to finish with her other client. The pedicure was good but I felt that she could have been more thorough. The foot massage was kind of weak and the bottom of my feet still felt rough after I was done. Granted I hadn't been to the nail salon in a while, but even so, the heels of my feet have felt a lot smoother. The pedicurist was super friendly and we chatted for a little bit. While this isn't a requirement for me, it really helps to diminish the awkwardness that I feel when I'm visiting a new nail salon. While the pedicurist was enjoyable, I found the manicurist to be quite brash. I initially wanted a gel manicure with a full set, but she said that she wouldn't have time to do a full set since she had another appointment coming in. I just went with a gel mani. The manicurist did a rushed and sloppy job. My nails were filed all types of different ways and there were several streaks and lines in the polish. I also found it extremely annoying that she kept trying to upsell me on their dip nails. If you can't even do a regular mani right, why the hell would I pay extra for dip powder? It's been less than 2 weeks and the gel polish has already started to chip off. Prices are pretty average but definitely not worth it for the quality that I received. This is wasn't the worst mani pedi that I've ever received, but I was really put off by the pedicurist. Most of the ladies were really friendly, but I don't think I'll be back again. read more

Pretty disappointed in how my nails turned out. This was my first time here and first time doing stiletto shape nails. It took over an hr to do but looks like it was rushed. The employees were friendly, and so was the woman who did my nails.. But they are uneven, the polish was applied uneven so there are spots where it's lighter, the top of my nails are not smooth, they are lumpy, and there is nail polish everywhere. It's almost $50 for full gel acrylic set, I feel like I got ripped off. Don't think I'll go back. Update 24 hrs later... From two stars to one... One nail popped off completely another broke in half. I haven't done anything that would make the nails break off. Wasted my money. And now have to go somewhere else to get them taken off and redone.. Irritated as hell. read more

My daughter and I walked in and were taken right away. They did a nice job in our pedicures. I was annoyed that the owner, who was doing my pedicure, was away for a lengthy period to help another customer who made multiple payments for services for her and her husband and had many needs, schedule next appointment, paying separately, etc. Then after they said their farewell already, and the owner returned to work in my pedicure, the lady needed a pen to write down what she paid so the owner got up from my pedicure again to help her out, another farewell. Ugh not the best experience for me. Then when I went to pay I was told $70. I asked to add a $14 tip and thought I was signing for $84. I should've looked before I signed. My credit card was charged $86.94. Not sure if the addl amount was tax or fee for using a credit card, but neither is ok. Will not be returning. Plenty of higher rated nail salons in the area. read more

Honestly very disappointed with my service. i came at 2:00 pm for my service and didn't leave until FOUR HOURS LATER. I got a pedicure (which the lady doing it didn't know what she was doing) and a full set (which was rushed and one of my fingers are crooked). First things first the lady doing my pedicure didn't put the bubbles into my foot bath, didn't take the dead skin off my heels, and didn't even give me a decent massage. wasn't worth the 40$. another thing is : after they used the tools for my feet (nail clippers, cuticle pusher, cuticle cutters) etc they WASHED THEM WITH SOAP AND WATER IN THE SINK AND PUT THEM BACK INTO THE SURGICAL TOOL BLUE STERILE PACKAGING AND PUT THEM AWAY. My nails came out flat, no apex, the nail tips didn't even fit my full nail so i have a gap between the sidewall and my nail. I will not come back here. 110$ for a pedicure and a full set is way to expensive for this job. the lady who did my nails also rushed and didn't let the color dry before she put top coat so it has airbubbles everywhere . read more
