Alright guys. I have written a revised review in almost 3 years. I obviously still come here and with good reason. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Everyone who works here is great! I have posted time and time again what my nails look like right after every appointment. I have gotten so many compliments on my nails it is crazy! Mai is literally the only person who can do my nails! She does a fantastic job every single time! She does her best on designs on the designs. It is appointment only. No joke: I literally schedule my appointment 3 to 4 weeks after I get my nails done, and usually I will set up at least 4 to 5 appointments. Why you ask? Because she's busy! She is always busy! I know Mai is a kind person and she will always do her best to accommodate, but when she can't, she seriously just cannot. Not great. This is hard to write because everyone working there was genuinely SO sweet, but I got dip polish with tips and it was one of the worst I've had, primarily because of how thick they put it on. However, part of the reason (I think) they were so thick is because there was some kind of miscommunication about the color I wanted. I showed one of the nail techs a pic of the color I had chosen, but after 3 coats of the dip polish I started realizing that this is not at all what I had asked for. They ended up deciding to add a few layers of gel polish on top of the dip, in the color I actually wanted. But by that time there were so many layers of polish on my nails it looked terrible. But, what worse, is that when the second nail tech (maybe owner? ) finished my nails, they were so uneven and lumpy...it was bad. This place has a lot of good reviews and I could tell the people that came in after me were regulars, so I was really stoked to finally try them. But, although my nails looked sort of okay from a distance, overall I was disappointed. read more

I've been going to this nail place for years. I like my pink and white powder, I've changed different colors and different designs each time. All I have to do is show Mai the picture on how I want it done. Most times, it comes out better than the picture since she always has a special touch added. Also, Mai is the only I trust removing my in-grown nail but mostly skin around the nail. It is a family oriented business. I have recommended this place to family, friends and anyone who have given compliments to my nails and/or my toe polish. read more

This was my first time here, went in for a full set of acrylics. I started with a man who works there, he had an incredibly gentle touch. A woman (I believe the owner) took over and did an amazing job with the shaping and getting the pointy tips I wanted. Over all good experience. I tried Dimension nails based on good reviews. The first time I was there, I didn't get Mai who I had scheduled with- she gave me another lady. The second time I was there after waiting a long time, Mai tried to give me to her hubby and I said no, because this was my 2nd time there and she still hadn't done my nails. So I waited longer for her to do them. At my third visit, after another long wait, Mai did ny nails and they started to chip 3 days later. But I figure that can sometimes happen, although rarely, so I still decided to go back a 4th time. But had to cancel because I got called into work. I told Mai the day before the appt that I needed to reschedule due to work . She was not understanding at all, and lectured me about how I need to keep appointments because of high demand. Even though I never missed any appointments, and I was giving her a full days notice that I needed to reschedule because of work. I felt bad so I tried to reschedule the appointment for after work, but her attitude was still bad, so I ended up canceling and going to another nail shop. I don't think Mai appreciates the importance of good customer service. You don't lecture a customer when they have an emergency and need to reschedule. Especially since I had kept my all my previous appointments. Not to mention, the shop could be a bit more clean. Mai has her loyal customers, and I wish her the best of luck. But I won't be using this shop where the weight is long and the owner doesn't know how to treat people, and it's kind of dirty. read more

The best nail salon ever!! Mai was so sweet and fast yet very attentive and thorough with my nails. I barely booked a few days in advance kind of short notice, and she even came early to fit me in! And she was very professional and nice about everything and only took an hour for my nails but did them so good. I'm so impressed and happy with my nails! I love nail art and can stare at nails for hours at a time. I was going on a cruise and wanted to combine 3 different nail design into 1 for my cruise. I was getting worried that I wouldn't be able to find a nail artist in Concord who would be able to give me the nails I wanted. I booked an appointment at this location and thought I was going to have a great time but I was wrong! I waited over an hour with no apology or reason for the delay for my appointment. The person doing my nails cut 4 of my fingers while applying acrylics. Not only did I get cut multiple times but there was nail glue on my wound. I called to complain and asked for the manager to call back but disappointingly I never received a call from the salon. This is my second time coming I made my appointment 4 weeks ago. Can in only to be told that my appointment was confused with another persons and canceled. Sat for an hr. Ridiculous ! I am very adamant about have tHe gel polish soaked off my toe nails, almost alL nails shop want to file the polish off leaving your nails extremely brittle I explained that numerous times but yet I still have to tell thEm no. Then after waitiing an hour I am told that anoth customers nails will be donE before mine so now I'm left with slightly filed off toe nail polling and stuck in traffic because I just wasted an hour sitting in the nail shop for no reason since I refused to wait another hour for my nails to be started and then another hour for my nails to be done then another hour for my pedicure. read more

My experience with Mai was great! She did great nails for me with lovely design, but the pedicure I got from a different lady in the salon was horrible. Mai is an amazing and talented artist! Every design I bring her she not only nails it! (no pun intended) She knocks it out of the park! She is so talented and a delight to be around. I've been following her for awhile and I'm so excited she has her own shop now! It's so cute and has the most beautiful pedicure chairs. She stays up on all the new trends and designs, and has soooo many beautiful colors! Her 3D acrylic designs are absolutely stunning! My mother never got her nails done or pedicures, until she tried mai out before a vacation we went on. She's been going to mai ever since! She even tried getting her nails done by a few different people when visiting with friends or when mai took a vacation once a year ago, and no one lives up to how good mai is! The lady who did my nails made sure that I was happy with the way the ombré came out and first go it was perfect, she even cut down my cuticles when I asked. That being said, I gave the review 5 stars but there were just a few things that I wanted point out, one I asked the lady to keep the corners of my nails pointed and sharp, when it came to the filing and buffing she rounded the edges, and also when she was drilling down the acrylic she made one side of all of my nails way thinner than the other.
