Usually just get a pedicure from here. My pedicure was on point! Decided to treat myself and get some nails and go a different route from the usual acrylics. I partially blame myself because I should have notice the issue sooner. See pictures. But I noticed it after the polish applied! I did gel-x. I'm not sure if it was because he did them when I was in tbe pedicure chair. So i awkwardly had to reach over with the hand he messed up. At the end i did show him and after he huffed and puffed he said that he can fix it next time. But i think he should have offered a discount. read more

I've been coming Next Gen for a while and I am always very happy. The staff is friendly and attentive, and I am always able to make an appointment the same day. The nail salon is clean, and there is a small parking lot with plenty of parking nearby if the one at the front is full. Their pedicure package has various options with good packages to pamper yourself. The prices are fair and the service is great! I also love getting Gel X or Builder Gel here. I feel like the nail artists are very talented. I usually bring a picture of what I want and they always make it happen. Overall, my experience here has been positive, and this is my go-to nail spot. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I brought my mom here with me. We both did regular pedicures no gel. The lady I had was great! However my mom got one of the older guy's and he didn't even do the massage with the lotion or paint my mom's nails neatly. She started bleeding cause he cut her skin. We told the owner and he was very disrespectful when I told him my mom didn't received the same service as me! He said the basic pedi doesn't come with massage/lotion but it does when I clearly pointed it out on the sign and I had it done for me! He threatened to call the police on us when it was their fault. My mom still had to pay. The owner and man who did her pedi did say sorry but were rather sooo rude to us! What kind of customer service is this. The customer service was excellent. Kim did a fantastic job on my gel pedicure. However the other lady that did my manicure seem to have no idea what she was doing. I have never in my life experienced such a bad manicure. She picked and clipped my cuticles until they were raw and bleeding. She was so rough and sloppy. She did several top coats leaving my nails chunky. It's so unfortunate because they were so nice but several employees had to check on her as she did a simple basic gel manicure. My nails are in pain, raw, thin and they look like a child did them. read more

Love, my Mani and Pedi, Vicky is the best! She already knows what colors, I would like and she designs all of these beautiful Hawaiian flowers. She is very Gentle & knows if you have an ingrown nail or something is digging in on the side of your toes. My friend, Maureen loves her Mani & Pedi with Kenny. gave this salon two chances, and both times were extremely disappointing. The first visit took nearly 2 hours, and the tech still didn't do what I asked. One hand was missing a coat of polish, the shape was wrong, and the finish looked uneven. I decided to give them another try, but the second visit was even worse. I asked for almond-shaped nails and a cat eye design. Instead, I got short, round nails and plain glitter -- and when I pointed it out, I was given excuses about why it couldn't be done. Within days, the polish was already peeling because it wasn't sealed properly. When I called to ask about fixing it, they told me I'd have to pay full price again. The tech was rude, dismissive, and took no accountability, even suggesting I "go somewhere else." I will never return and do not recommend this salon. Save your time, money, and dignity -- there are plenty of places that know how to do nails correctly and treat their customers with respect. read more

i've worked for many nail spa's , i came 2.14 for builder gel. First time visiting for a manicure. originally i booked for gel x bc i've done it before and liked how it saved my nails but when i arrived the tech told me that since i want med/long i should do builder gel because gel x would be too thin and build gel would be stronger i've never done builders gel before but was open to it . I showered when i got home and noticed that my nails were SUPER thin and noticed that the nail tip was able to bend as if i had on plastic press on nails. 2 days later my two of my nails cracked and lifted where the fake tip had been applied, builder gel was in fact not stronger than gel x. the gel x full coverage tip+ soft gel base would have been stronger than the builder gel and nail tip that was applied. My nails lasted less than 5 days. read more

Let's start with what was good: I walked in and they were able to take me for a pedicure. Also: it is surprisingly spacious. As a sort of thanks for taking me was a walk-in, I upgraded to the hot stone pedicure (the woman who worked with me was unhappy I did not upgrade further; I know her name but am not using it here). It was the least well/done pedicure I have received. The water in the basin was lukewarm at best (I don't love it super hot, but this was...not at all warm). The "hot stones" had not been heated up. They have a very odd selection of colors. Like: if you want pastels you will be okay, but they did not have much that was dark. And when I pointed at a color and asked if she had anything darker, she did not understand. I mean, there are plenty of shades I like, but I don't want a pink pedicure, or a white one. I like deep colors. I tried to explain this to her, but either she did not care or she did not understand me. I ended up with a pretty hideous red color because I just gave up trying to even communicate. She did not take much care with the actual painting of toe nails. Didn't do the little swipe at the top that most places do that keep it from chipping immediately. Maybe did two coats but was super stingy with the color. I dunno; I have never had the sense before that a technician just did not like me, but this was the most disappointing "luxury" I have had. Luckily, it is Concord and there are hundreds of nail salons here. Oh: also, went with my wife, who got a manicure. Her manicure as much more meticulously done than my pedicure, so maybe my tech was just over me or over the day. I have days like that, too. But dang, that "massage" of my legs that I paid extra for was like when a five year old pretends to massage their grandmother. Her hands moved over my skin. That's it. Certainly will never pay more for a "better" experience there when this was already an upgrade and it was so poorly executed. read more

I'm not the best girl. I don't understand nail spas and I get my hair cut every six months. Its just not my thing. However, I gave birth to a girl who is a girls, girl. She loves hair salons, wearing nice jewelry and getting her nails done. For her birthday we had to take her and a good friend for the royal treatment. I'm a novice and don't understand the treatments or the lingo. I don't know anything. The gentleman who assisted us when we walked in was very helpful. They have large nice chairs with really cool foot baths. The girls got their fingernails and their toe nails done. They got the food massages and the hot wax treatment. All new to me and seems like a waste of money but again, not my birthday. I however was given a wonder cup of green tea by the host (not sure how to address this person). Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The girls had a great time and I enjoyed sitting back and waiting while they got the royal birthday treatment. read more

Been going to this spot for about 6 years now and it was great but now since the new owner everything has changed. I slammed my foot and broke a nail the day before thats why I came to do my nails . The owner I believe was sooo rude and told the lady to stop helping me and came to me opened the chair handle for me to leave !!!!!! For a broken nail !! I would have understood if he said he cant do it and I would leave but coming next to me and moving the chair handle to make me leave is another story !!! Now they rude and their service is so aggressive I even recommend a friend and she felt that the spot is not good anymore . I Do not recommend :( read more
