Thanks to my mom coming here to get a mani pedi previously I found a place close to home, with decent prices and such good professional workmanship. They accept walk-ins here which I was VERY thankful for. Lily did my nails today. She noticed that my left ankle was injured because I had it wrapped so she made sure to be very careful with my foot. She knows how to upsell services, but also knows how to take no for an answer. She offered me an upgrade on my pedicure but I've found that my skin is so sensitive that a lot of products tend to cause rashes or discomfort so I didn't get anything extra. When it came to my hands, she got the prior/ excess tips off and I was super thankful for that as well. She talked to me a little bit and seemed to enjoy seeing pictures of my young daughter so it was nice not just sitting in silence the whole time. I like their chairs for the pedicure. They have remotes with massage settings, although I didn't really use it. Oops! And the basins are really pretty. I got a nice light, almost metallic looking purple on both my finger and toe nails. Anyway, point is, they just got a repeat customer with me. Btw, on the window it states hours on Sunday, but I noticed a sign posted in another window that states they are no longer open on Sunday so I cut that out of the picture I took. read more

Me and my sister have been loyal customers for 8 years now. We always get the gel manicure and it's always a great experience. The salon was spotless and had a calm, relaxing vibe. My nail tech, Julie, was super friendly and meticulous. She took her time shaping my nails just the way I like and gave me a flawless finish. It's been more than a month and they still look perfect! Julie did a phenomenal job on my nails. She's very meticulous. She doesn't rush through to just get done. She takes pride in her work and wants you to be totally satisfied. I did the ice dancer pedi for my very dry, slightly flaky, overused feet that the last pedi (a different place) failed to make any difference. So much better! It helps that they have good electric tools to buff (or whatever it's called) the soles. Will come here next time! read more

Ugh! So I came in for a basic pedicure. They pulled out one of those electric nail files and the first thing that happens is my cuticle is nicked hard enough that I start bleeding. This happened to another lady while I was there as well. Most salons will put some anti-septic on when this happens, not here, it was covered by nail polish as much as they could. I was in pain four days later. After I left I looked at my receipt and noticed I was charged an additional 1.5% for using my credit card. It would have been nice to know this is their practice. Yea, I won't be going back. read more

DL Nail Spa is such a find for those of us who want incredible, long lasting manicures! All of the women at this salon follow the same technique, which I personally love. Their dip nail process lasts and lasts. Their pedicures gave a warm wax finish which leaves my feet so smooth. Did I also mention their affordable prices in this day and age? Manicure is $55 and pedicure is $45. I drive all the way over to PH to things great spot near the college. Go! Treat yourself! Ladies were all nice in there but for the price of $60 for a pedicure that didn't even remove any of my calluses, I'm disappointed. The nails came out good and attention to them is also important but when asking to get all the calluses off she said the wax would help soften them. It did not. If you want a real pedicure that actually scrubs and takes off the calluses and takes off the dead skin this place is not that place. read more

The experience was great! Not very popular surprisingly, maybe because it's in the middle of two other nail spas, but this is a hidden gem! Gel manicure for my mom was $35. Acrylic set for me was $75 since I got a design. Wish I got the ladies name she did super good and I kept changing what I wanted and she was super understanding of it even though I felt like a burden and she did an amazing job. read more

Quick and good pedicure. I came in as a walk-in, no appt, on a Thursday late afternoon. There was no wait and they got started right away on my pedicure. Pretty straight forward place with lots of nail color options and seats available. It got pretty busy as I was done but it didn't seem like they waited too long. Nice workers. They're open. Do I need to say more?! My hands and feet have been tortured by my own doing for the last 10 1/2 months, so it was nice to swing by and see that the DL is open again. Covid modifications: Plexiglass partitions have been set up between customers and between customer and technicians. Stations are sanitized after each person. They are also very good about washing their hands when going back and forth between customers. Yay for one more thing going back to normal! read more

When I walked in it was cold freezing, they do not turn on the heater, the staff were wearing jackets. I asked if open now for a gel manicure and pedicure they said the had someone for a gel manicure pedicure. I let them know I needed to leave by 12. There was a lady sitting by the window on her phone. Another lady doing work. Then one in the back, I arrived they sat me in a chair. I waited about 10 minutes before someone came to fill up the water. Then another 10 for someone to actually start, the water was cold by then and it's cold inside so asked for warm water. I had to have gel nail removed so I don't know why the lady sitting couldn't start while I waited for 20 minutes. I do not like to go places and wait be honest say 30 minutes wait we only have 2 nail techs here. I also do not like that they demand cash only. They should have a sign for cash only. They were not unfriendly but they weren't friendly customer service. I gave 3 starts because I waited for 30 minutes. They didn't have accurate pricing , it was freezing in there, she cut me and made me bleed a little. It was $80.00 for gel manicure pedicure. I think for $80.00 CASH you should do more than paint. Turn the heater on,offer water coffee tea wine and interact. read more

Needed a quick clean up for cuticle, and got gel mani while I needed to kill time before I went back to do my errands. I stopped by here and pretty much regretted that I decided to stop by (should of looked at the Yelp review before). There was NO customer and that's probably one of the red flag I should of seen it coming. I felt unwelcome and it was very uncomfortable. These ladies should of stayed professional but treated their salon like their home. Couple ladies had their shoes off sitting down as if their sitting in their couch at home while they're customers and it felt so unprofessional. My lady I got, saw that I accidentally rubbed the color off yet she still continued to finish off without even fixing it for me. I told her, I accidentally rubbed the paint and she told me "be careful next time" and proceed to finish my mani. Future reference for future clients of theirs, they don't accept credit or debit cards. ONLY CASH. There is NO SIGN in their salon about CASH ONLY. Which is weird. Yikes! read more

Kept me waiting even though I had an appointment. The woman doing my pedicure kept trying to upcharge me. Also was very rough. I'm new to the area but won't be back. Not even sure I want to stay for the manicure at this point. It makes me uncomfortable to hear the ladies talk so much in their own language. It makes me feel like they are talking about us as customers. This is supposed to be a relaxing experience but wasn't. There are so many nail salons in the area that I will pass. read more

When I was doing my nails, the woman bleeds my left thumb, and she did not apologize at all. Pretending like nothing happened. I did 8 fingers with white and 2 fingers with glitter, she asked for $75 total and said because she designed it. I was like huh? Where is the design?? Don't go here. read more

A broad-built Indian woman at the front desk said she would do my threading. I asked her to start with my upper lip, and it was noticeably painful from the beginning, though I didn't say anything. What really concerned me was that she brought the thread inside my nostril while threading my upper lip. I immediately winced in pain. In all the years I've been getting threaded, this has never happened before. It felt very unprofessional and made me question her experience. She has no communication skills at all. The people who have helped me previously in this location were all nice. I told her what had happened and left immediately without completing the service. Based on my experience, I would not trust her with threading. Very unprofessional and unapologetic.

My appointment was scheduled for 3:45 p.m., but I waited about 15 minutes before being seen. Initially, I thought the service went well. I understand that waxing may not remove every single hair, especially depending on the stage of hair growth, but I expected the majority of visible hair to be removed. When I got home, I noticed several long hairs between my labia that should have been waxed, along with a significant amount of remaining hair throughout the treated area. Considering I paid $75 for the service and left a $10 tip, I expected a level of service that reflected the $85 total I spent. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced why I no longer feel confident choosing European Wax Center. Each time I've visited one of their locations, I've left disappointed. I shouldn't have to go home and spend additional time tweezing and removing hair after paying for a professional waxing service.

Design: I asked for stars design and provided a inspo pic. I'm very aware and considerate that designs will never turn out exactly like an inspo pic. However, half of them don't even look like she TRIED to make stars. I think the girl who did them is the owner so of apparently she does not mind doing half work.... I would have respected being told if a design is too challenging to recreate or it's out of their comfort zone... I still paid and even tipped because I do respect people's time. In fact, I was down the street and was in the chair within 10 minutes of calling. Eun Joo kept my length, did only a trim with long layers, exactly as requested! A friend of mine (he's a dad too) said that he took his son to UBB and got a cut from Leah. We have Asian (thicker) hair and wanted a particular style (low taper fade with texture cut up top). My son went with 'low' expectation but after the cut was completed, he was thrilled at the outcome. Just as he wanted (and showed on his phone from the various research that he did). The haircut came with shampoo and blow dry too. It was very, very responsible in terms of cost too ($40 + tip). The salon is also very chic with seating, beverages as well. I will likely come back for my own haircut as well. *Note: Leah's English is a bit limited so just be aware.
