finding a nail tech isn't easy -- especially in an area where there's so many options. you try a few, but it's kinda like cinderella... you're just waiting for the right fit. after doing some scrolling and reading reviews, I decided to give Beau Den Spa a shot. the photos looked great and the feedback seemed solid, so I finally worked up the courage to call. kimmy answered and was so sweet -- she asked what i needed and booked me for 10:15 AM the next day. when i arrived, i was greeted right away by a gentleman at the front, and one of the women immediately recognized it was me (happened to be kimmy), which felt really welcoming. although my appointment was at 10:15, i wasn't seated until around 10:30/10:45, but honestly, i didn't mind. they offer refreshments (tea, coffee, water), which was a nice touch. my nail tech was vi (i hope i'm spelling that right!). i came in with a full set from another shop, and i really appreciated that they don't let your nails sit in acetone forever. she removed my old set carefully and started prepping me for gel-x. i went with a stiletto/almond shape, which is totally new for me, so i was nervous but excited. long story short: i LOVE my nails. vi told me my fingers were made for the length and shape (maybe she was hyping me up, but i'll take it ). she also did my pedicure, and the experience was just as good. the bowl had lemons, lemon leaves, and i think even roses? the water temperature was perfect. it felt luxurious and relaxing. i spent about $200 (including a $20 tip). yes, it's pricey -- but in today's economy, that's not uncommon and it's pretty fairly priced compared to the other shops in the area. if you care about quality and the overall experience, i'd say it's worth it. and having Starbucks nearby doesn't hurt either. definitely coming back. read more

This place is a gem and worth every dollar spent! I've been to quite a bit of nail salon places in Concord/Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area. There are some that are good, but unfortunately some that makes you not want to treat yourself in getting your nails done. That was what happened to me last year. A place I will not name, just shellacked the acrylic powder on my nails extremely thick, making me look like I have some nail related abnormality. And as a people pleaser, I just decided to deal with it and cry on my way home. That experience made me not want to get any more manicures. Fast forward to now. I missed feeling pretty and got super inspired by the nail art that the IG algorithm threw at me. I wanted to treat myself to a manicure with some art to celebrate Lunar New Year. This was a last minute game day decision, so during my appointment at Beau Den Spa, I surprised the owner with a picture inspiration... and she went above and beyond! She could've told me "I can't do them within the time frame of our appointment" or "nope." She probably could say "oh hell no" and I'd completely understand. I even said she can simplify them...but she did it all! They are the best nails I've ever had! Not an exaggeration but legit! She is extremely talented and meticulous. If you ever want to get elaborate nail art done, this is the place to go. Just make sure to let them know in advance of the complexity so that they ensure ample time is set aside. My mother is a huge fan of their pedicures. It's the only place that I know in the area that provides the highest quality of service. They do not rush nor do they speed their massages. Their name fits their services. You do indeed feel that you're getting a spa treatment. This salon is by far the absolute best I have been to in years. The ladies at this establishment are so hospitable and focus on client care. Every time I come here I am greeted warmly and feel well taken care of. My favorite service is the pedicure because it is so relaxing and the technician always takes the time to make sure you are comfortable. I recently got a manicure + gel X set for the first time since I am used to always getting acrylic. It is definitely far less damaging than acrylic and I will be switching over to gel X. This review is long overdue, I have been coming here for about five months so far and I absolutely love the care, quality and cleanliness of the Salon. I have been getting my nails done my whole life religiously every three weeks, at other salons I would experience Nails breaking, lifting and polish chipping. at Beau Den spa I no longer experience any of those things and my Nails last even longer. I extremely appreciate the cleanliness of the products used here and of the Salon. The tools are all brand new, products are non-toxic, and organic. I've never had any kind of skin irritation here which I have at other places. If you value the health and quality of your Nails, then this is the place for you. They genuinely care about the result.. Decided to get my wedding nails done here after reading all the positive reviews, and so happy I came across this place. Not only was Kimmy attentive to my needs, she even asked me if my extensions looked even to me. Also, I got a chrome gel pedicure, which turned out great. I have a hard time spending money on myself, but after an insane month and with a trip coming up, I decided to treat myself to a mani pedi. Right when you walk in you are greeted with kindness, made to feel comfortable, and there is calming music playing while you select your polish. There is a FANTASTIC assortment of colors to choose from, along with styles shown such as cat eye, and even a few designs painted to show french tips and other fun options. I've never had such wonderful choices, it makes me so excited to come back next time. The shop is small with only two workers, and yet they do the best job I've seen in years when it comes to nail salons. The customer service was also impeccable. I left for vacation early Wednesday morning and realized that weekend I needed a mani pedi. They're closed on Mondays, so I only had Tuesday. I left a message that was returned on Monday, even though they were closed. She let me know they were fully booked for Tuesday, and could fit me in Wednesday. I told her I was really hoping to get it done before vacation and she called her coworker and was able to get back to me and squeeze me in Tuesday morning. I knew I messed up not booking earlier, but her making it work made a huge difference in my trip and immediately showed me how amazing they are. The milk and honey pedicure came with a big bowl of flowers and citrus that was both gorgeous and calming. The ingredients were also used in the massage which was lovely. I got to see all the brand new packages of ingredients which is a great relief when so many places cut corners which is dangerous and unsanitary. Everything here was clean and comfortable. The pedicure was meticulous, and a timer was even set for the massage at the end. The manicure chairs were a welcome change from the usual nail salon chairs, much more comfortable to sit in. They had UV lights on each side so both hands could cure, which made the process flow smoother and quicker. They massaged with lotion at the end, but also put it on at the beginning so it could soak in which was great. They also used enough cuticle oil which is rare these days. The end results were fantastic. All in all it was incredible. I cannot express how important it is that the manicure and pedicure are not done at the same time. This is a small shop so that's not possible, and I don't think that they would even if they could which is fantastic. This allows you to fully relax, take a break, and actually enjoy your pedicure and massage, which is just as important as the actual nails for me. I never expected to write such a lengthy, glowing, immediate review, but this blew me out of the water for any kind of establishment not just a nail salon. First time around the owner of the shop, Kim, did my nails and lasted me for over 5 weeks before one of my extensions fell off. I came back to get a new set, and this time around I had a new nail tech, Tee (I believe that was her name?). She was actually able to keep my previous extensions on and filled them in for the new set, which saved us some time (and money!). The nail salon is so cute, clean, relaxing, and very spacious! Their pricing is extremely reasonable in my opinion, especially for the quality and how long the nails last. They also have a large assortment of different colors to choose from. Both Kim and Tee are so friendly and try their best to really make sure you leave the salon happy with your nails. I was immediately greeted by a lady and soft tranquility music with the smell of cleanliness and essential oils. I specifically wanted to come here because they pride themselves in autoclaving and cleaning their nail tools. The lady who did my pedicure, Ann, also showed me the autoclaved tools she'll be using. She also I got the milk & honey pedicure with a gel French tip. They use huuuge separate water baths and continuously fill it with warm/hot water from an electric kettle so it stays nice and warm. I was looking for a nail tech close by and I saw the reviews and pictures about Kimmy's work. I called to make an appointment and she accommodated me the next day. The salon is very clean and professional, aesthetically pleasing. She had to remove the acrylic on my nails which took awhile but I'm so glad I won't be using acrylic anymore after I learned all about the process Kimmy uses to keep your nails healthy. She did not use acetone to take off the acrylic which leaves nails dry and brittle. She used an organic solution. She explained that acrylic is thick and lifts and causes moisture to go onto your real nail. The way she builds the gel then shapes it is amazing! It will not lift like acrylic and is more natural looking. I usually like natural colors and told Kimmy to just pick for me so she did her signature color that she mixes. She then used a scrub to massage my hands and put a hot towel on them which was very relaxing. I will be coming back to get a gel fill in a few weeks! read more

The prices are a little high, but you definitely get what you pay for, the pedicure was one of the best I've had and I loved the timed massage. All of their tools are sanitized and sealed in individual bags, and some of the items are one time use, very clean!
