I came in on New Year's Eve for a pedicure and manicure, with an appointment scheduled for 2:00 PM. I showed multiple reference photos very clearly and repeatedly and explained exactly what I wanted before any cutting or shaping was done. Pedicure issue: I asked for a square French tip. I explicitly stated this before my toenails were cut. Despite that, the technician cut my toenails into a shape that made a square tip impossible without acrylic. This was acknowledged as a mistake by the technician herself. I reasonably asked that acrylic be added at no extra charge, since the issue was created by the salon. This turned into unnecessary back-and-forth and delay. Manicure issue: I was then moved to another station for my hands. Again, I showed reference photos multiple times and clearly asked for a medium-length, narrow almond shape (sharper tip, not stiletto, not short). I repeatedly said I did not want short nails. Despite this, my nails were shaped into very short, triangular tips that looked nothing like the reference photos. I stopped the service because it was clearly not going in the right direction. Time & service failure: After nearly 3 hours, I had: * No completed pedicure * No completed manicure This was extremely frustrating, especially given the appointment time and the fact that I was very clear and patient throughout. Pricing concern: I also questioned a $20 upcharge for gold foil on all 10 fingers (a material that costs only a few dollars for a large quantity). The pricing felt excessive and unjustified, especially considering the service issues. Bottom line: This salon was unable to execute very basic requests (square French tip pedicure, almond-shaped manicure) despite clear communication and reference photos. The experience was disorganized, time-consuming, and disappointing. I relied on Google reviews to choose this salon and unfortunately felt misled by them. I would not return, and I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for precise shaping, consistency, or respect for their time. read more

I called again right before heading over and let them know I'd be there in five minutes--they said that was fine. Once I arrived, they sat me down, and I waited about 10-15 minutes. Because it was over 100 degrees outside, I had taken my small dog out of the car with me. While waiting, I was told to "just leave the dog in the car." I couldn't believe it. No responsible person should suggest leaving a dog unattended in that kind of heat, even with the A/C on. Aside from the obvious risk to my pet's safety, there's also the chance someone could break into the car, report me, or worse. It just showed a complete lack of awareness and care. I tried to be understanding--I called ahead, showed up as agreed, and waited patiently--but that response completely ruined the experience for me. I won't be returning. read more

This place is a hit or miss. Been coming here for about 2 years now and Liam is the best. He is really good at what he does and I've only seen him do finger nails, no pedis. However, I have been here other times when he was busy and it was not the same. Today, I got a pedicure and it was the fastest pedicure I've ever gotten. I sat in the chair at 1:30 and by 1:37 she was already scrubbing the bottom of my feet. I asked her was she done already and she said that I didn't have any cuticles to be removed so it was quick. I really contemplated whether to write a review or not because I don't like to say anything negative about small businesses in my local area. I made a 2pm appointment for a simple gel extension removal- I asked how long it might take and the girl on the phone estimated 20 minutes, but I went in expecting a bit longer since it usually takes about half an hour. When I got there, the girl I spoke with on the phone had just started a manicure on another client and the only other woman was in the middle of doing a detailed set on a client. My manicurist asked her client if she could start wrapping my nails so I could let them soak while I waited. No hand hygiene in between, opened a container of cotton with unclean hands and told me to put my hands on a used towel set up. There was nail dust all over the area she had me sit in. The drill tool was so dirty. Another woman came in while I was waiting my turn saying she and her daughter also had a 2pm appointment with the same woman? The manicurist was clearly overbooked. She rushed to me to remove the foil and rewrapped quickly with cotton that fell on the floor :( What made me write this review is the pain I have been in over the last two days from the excessive and aggressive drilling she did to remove my extensions. I could tell she was in a hurry and my cuticles were nicked in the process. I'm sure their designs are beautiful, and the quality of work seems to be good on other clients based on the reviews. Maybe I came on an off day, as everyone seemed to be regulars and I could see one girl's really cute pink nails that the tech was replicating off of a Pinterest image. I just wish they would have told me they were busy or had me wait longer so they could remove them more gently. read more

Wow, I'm so pleased with this new nail salon! I tip toed over to Tip to Toe Nails to get my gremlins done and they did a fabulous job on both my hands and feet! The shop is fairly new and is still gaining some buzz around the neighborhood. They're tucked away in the TJ Maxx shopping center right off of Clayton Road. Walked in on a late Saturday afternoon and they were able to take me in immediately. The shop is small but very clean and they have air conditioning! I was HAWT in Concord that day, so the air conditioning was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I didn't get any of their names, but a young man worked on my pedicure while another lady did my manicure. They've got the massaging salon chairs here and they looked pretty new. I opted for a gel mani and regular pedicure. They don't have a ton of regular polish options, but their gel color options are pretty solid. Both my pedicure and gel manicure were perfect! They really took their time on my hands and feet and cleaned up my nails really well. I enjoyed the pedicure massage! The pedicurist was really thorough in his process and didn't rush the massage. Their pedicure also comes with a nice sea salt scrub. I started falling asleep in the chair! I guess that's a good thing, right? Also really liked the hand massage from the manicurist. It's so crazy to think that so many nail salons don't actually do hand massages after the mani. Welp, there was no problem with that here. She put three coats of polish on my nails which I really appreciated. A gel mani and regular pedi costed me a total of $53 which is a really great price in my opinion. The last place that I was going to charged $60 minimum for the same thing. They do encourage cash tips which I always abide by anyways. The whole process didn't take too long and I was in and out with enough time to go about my day. I'm pretty sure that business will pick up for them eventually, but it was really nice to just walk-in on a Saturday and to get helped right away. I think I've found my new nail salon, y'all! So excited to come back again in another few weeks. Hopefully my next experience will be just as good as my previous one. read more
