I called and the lady told me that I could come in! I always get dip powder and they didn't really specialize in dip powder so they didn't have a lot of colors to choose from including red which was what I wanted for Valentine's Day. Off the bat when they started doing my toes they were not prepped whatsoever they began to paint them without prepping or filing them. When i realized that's not how it should be done i asked if she could file them a bit... she filed them once she finished applying the gel and top coat which only an hour in has caused lifting. For my hands the same thing, no prepping and didn't even cut my cuticles off. Came in a few weeks ago to get a basic mani/pedi. There was only one other girl finishing up getting her nails done. So I figured, I'd be in and out of here in no time. Wrong! He moved at a very slow pace. About 10 minutes later, another male came over to begin my manicure. It was a regular mani. He seemed more knowledgeable or at least comfortable with the process. He was doing a good job until he cut too much of my cuticle! I began to bleed. I was definitely annoyed but he was apologetic. My mani finished, with no other problems. The shape of the nail was nice but I can tell the nail polish was very thick and I'd be waiting for it to dry for a looonnnnggggg time. The pedicure finished AFTER my mani. Maybe 15 minutes after my mani completed. Again, the nail polish was very thick. I was waiting for my nails to dry, for what seemed forever. When I walked into the salon, I was practically the only one there. Yet somehow a basic manicure/pedicure took almost 2 hours. Mind you, when I left my nail polish was still wet. While attempting to pull my leggings down over my calves, my nail polish messed up. That's another thing, they didn't even help me with putting my pant legs down! Only good thing about this place was that I actually really liked the shape of my nails. Although, I would never come back here because of how long the process took, how think the nail polish was put on and because I don't like to pay people to make me bleed! -___- Additionally, their prices are way above what I normally pay back when I lived in San Francisco and this place isn't in the greatest location. read more

This place is located adjacent to the Los Montanas Hispanic market. They have a small area next door kind of like a shopping mall with small businesses inside. I like this place. Avoid the crowd anywhere on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and get in right away. Otherwise, book an appointment. They use liners on their chairs now. I do not think they use fresh sanitized bags for each pedicure, they bring out individual tools in a tray. The owner, Lisa, is friendly and welcoming. I've been going to them ever since. Their salon is located in a super market in the back. The salon is spacious, clean and has comfortable massage chairs for your pedicure treatments and comfortable chairs and work stations for your manicures. Ken does my shellac mani's every time I go there, per my request. His attention to detail is what I like about his work. My manicured nails always end up looking great and I highly recommend him. I had my nails done on Tuesday night and on Saturday morning I had one nail pop off like a Lee Press on Nail while putting my clothes into my washing machine. Was very happy with my recent mani-pedi. I went in just to get a pedicure. (I never waste my time with manicures because unless it's a shellac, it doesn't even last more than a few days on me.) But I figured since it was only $36 for both, and Easter was this weekend, I would get my fingernails painted too. A woman started on my feet and a younger boy on my hands. Neither of them spoke at all, which is the only thing that was disappointing. It was an hour of service and obviously I couldn't play on my phone if my fingernails were being painted. Don't get me wrong, I tried to engage them with questions about whether or not the salon was busier before the holiday, and if he lived close by, but he said he didn't understand so I gave up. The owner however was very friendly, and he worked on the nails of another girl sitting nearby and talked to her the entire time. The service itself was incredible. A long leg and foot massage with lotion and oil - very relaxing! Toes were painted exactly how I wanted and fingers looked so pretty at the end! And, it's been four days and they are still almost in perfect condition. For me, that's a long time to keep nail polish on my fingers! I'll definitely be back here.
